    For the price we did not expect a perfect boat so it did the job! When the toilet did not flush they fixed it straight away. Food was lovely and lots of it (inc crab, oysters and prawns!) Catered to dietary requirements too. The kayak&#47;bikes aren&#39;t in the best of condition but a fun activity! Felt better booking it on here than some agency. The shuttle bus is extra but was pristine! Got a bottle of water on it then another in the room (other drinks are charged). They booked us an onward bus to Ninh Binh rather than back to Hanoi.
    Very shoddy&#47;dirty boat so keep expectations at a minimum so you are not disappointed (eg. Contact lense stuck next to bed, bathroom flooded when you used the sink, for some inexplicable reason what seemed to be a sanitary pad on the ceiling?? Guess they have a quick cleaning turn around between guests). Karaoke was a microphone with one of the staff&#39;s phones on youtube to sing along (quickly gave up due to screechy feedback and phone kept locking)

    The information in booking is not correct. We were offered a bus to peak us from the hotel and take us to the cruise. We were ask to pay in cash the bus and the whole booking on our way to the cruise when in booking says that cards are accepted.

    Hard working and friendly staff. Nice places visited and good activities. After my feedback the company offered a very small amount to compensate me.
    Noisy cabin from the generator at night and smell of the fuel in my cabin. Bathroom was not clean and cabin was very shabby. Lots of things needing repaired. We had to ask for lots of things we needed. The staff worked hard but there should have been another member to help with food and drinks etc.

    Tour guide Mr Houng was very friendly and could communicate nicely with all of us. Staff were friendly. All activities on cruise were very exciting and adventurous. We truly enjoyed.

    Brilliant trip, great tour guide &amp; all round amazing place.”

    We opted for the 2 day, 1 night trip to see Ha Long Bay, we were picked up at the Opera House in Hanoi and greeted warmly by Hoang who was informative about the trip, the group of 20 was split into two groups, each group got assigned to a boat. The room on the boat was quite small however our room had a private balcony off the back of the boat and this gave us some privacy to enjoy the stunning scenery. The weather was overcast in Hanoi, but bright and sunny at the bay which was great. We then went swimming to a tiny beach followed by sea kayaking which was a great experience. The evening consisted of a spring roll cookery class, squid fishing and a karaoke disco. The next day we visited the National park located on one of the islands, this is where we cycled. The trip actually takes you around Lan Ha bay, not Ha Long bay as Ha Long is far busier. The food throughout the trip was all Vietnamese style &amp; good quality and included in the price but you have to pay for drinks on the boat. We felt well looked after from start to finish and would definitely recommend this tour.
    The group was quite party style on the boat which ruined the tranquility of the incredible surroundings. We didn’t get much time to enjoy the private balcony.

    Excellent cruise by Sunlight”

    If you come with the right attitude, you will have a great time with them. Of course, it&#39;s not Marriott, but the facilities are more than adequate, food is great and the crew goes a very long way to accommodate you in the best possible way. Hai, our guide, was absolutely spectacular. If you hear me at the Sunlight office, give him a raise!

    This was a really fun tour! I loved the kayaking and jumping off the boat. The staff were really cool and helpful. Getting picked up from Hanoi was great and they even arranged transport to Ninh Binh for us directly from the end of the tour. Saved us a lot of time and hassle :-D

    The food was delicious and fresh. Good activities, great sunset and the crew, super friendly and helpful. We met Tim and John 3 days after our cruise on the pier. Tim got a moped and dropped us off to our boat to Haiphong. Legend.

    Should be named “ 1 day 1 night cruise””

    We enjoy the cruise, food was good and super clean and comfortable rooms. The views are stunning.
    The drinks are not included and it is expensive. The can improve the activities and the tour guide was rushing us all the time. Take too long waiting to get on board and too long to be picked up from harbor in our way back to hanoi.

    The boat was great and the staff were amazing and the food they cooked for us was so tasty. Good group size not too many! Excellent bike ride and kayaking! Worth the money but could be tweaked
    No blankets provided on the beds of the boat which meant it was freezing at night. Also not enough sun beds on the top deck for the number of people on the cruise although could easily fit 3 more at least. Cat Ba hotel was in good location for the beds were so hard you wouldn’t think they had a mattress on . This was hotel Draco. Would recommend somewhere else
