The perfect escape to paradise”
We arrived at the end of a very long trip late at night and were greeted at our van by 3 smiling faces welcoming us to the resort. Our stay at El Nido Cove was relaxing, warm and friendly. It is about 15 mins from the town centre but we preferred to stay out of the town and just drive in in the evening to have a few drinks at the beach bars. The staff organised all of our island tours, transport to town and return van to Peurto Princesa. Life was very easy during our stay! The food was lovely and comparatively priced to the restaurants in town. We ended up having most of our meals here. The sunset and views were nothing short of spectacular so make you have your camera ready! The pool is clean and refreshing - perfect after a long day in salt water. The only negative is the wifi which is only available in the lobby & bar - however this forced us out of our rooms and into common areas where we ended up making great friends! Thank you El Nido Cove Resort for a magical stay! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to anyone.

Thumbs up”
El Nido Cove may be far from any attractions in El Nido but the staff here are all humble and always willing to help. They may not have a good WiFi, no welcome drinks, no slippers for in room hotel use, limited selections on tv channels. But all of this will be just a few things you won’t even recognise you needed that bad. The view from your room is really something you will never get tired of. The oval shape pool is all you need... over looking the ocean is more than enough to forget all the things that the hotel maybe lack of. If you want total relaxation... this is the place for you. My kids really enjoyed our last 3 days in El Nido because of this resort. Thank you very much to all the staff.. from kuya driver, Ran and Ritchell of frontdesk, manong guard from the beach area. Edzel for attending our needs during our lunch and dinner. And to all the personnel who never get tired of cleaning up the area. Please continue your hardwork... hope to see you again!

Lio beach resort”
We initially booked El nido cove resort, but was told at the last minute they’d have to move us to they’re sister hotel CASA KALAW. Initially upset by this we looked to cancel & book somewhere else but there wasn’t much available by this time. When we arrived we was so glad we didn’t cancel, lio beach resort was perfect, nice & quiet, lovely beach & bars/restaurants. I don’t know what EL NIDO COVE RESORT is like, but would definitely recommend CASA KALAW HOTEL & LIO BEACH RESORT.

Extremely Charming”
El Nido Cove Resort is around 10km away from El Nido town, which by tricycle requires 30 min trip from town - however the trip is worthwhile. The resort is clean, and very charming with its beach view. Hearning the beach waves, it was a great hotel to stay for a break in El Nido. The staff is incredibly attentive and nice; and the serving food is excellent. We would definitely advise this resort to anyone looking for a hotel in El Nido.

A work in progress”
There isn't a lot to this resort yet as it's still under construction. They currently have about 10 rooms and are in the process of putting in more, along with the pool. The resort itself is also 20 minutes outside of the downtown El Nido and you can only reach it by tricycle. Having said that, this resort with be the absolute perfect place to stay once it's complete! It's away from everything, so it's peaceful. The staff were so friendly and helpful. They were very knowledgeable and able to assist us with any needs we had while in El Nido. The hotel is right by the ocean, and the view is beautiful! Beautiful sunsets! The tables for eating are by the water, so you have a beautiful view for any meal you have there. The food does take awhile to be prepared, but it is so worth it! Definitely some of the best food I ate the entire time I was in the Philippines! There's a small bar set off to the side, that wasn't open yet, but once the pool is finished it will be the perfect place to grab a drink. They offer kayaks for free and there are a couple of islands close by that you can kayak to. Give the resort another year to get finished and it will be the place to stay in El Nido!

Fantastic place to relax by the beach”
Firstly it should be noted that this hotel is quite far from El Nido town centre, we had hired a car so this wasn’t much of a problem and its relatively cheap to get a taxi or trike, I think we paid 500php for a return trip. The hotel itself feels like a private resort, there are only a few rooms and most overlook the beach. The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. They cooked us a meal on request (there was no menu, you just request what you want) which made it feel that extra bit special and the food was excellent. Our room was huge with an extra double bed in the mezzanine and although the hotel looks a bit tired in places, this in my opinion added to the character. If you’re looking for somewhere quiet, tranquil and romantic to relax by the beach away from the crowds in El Nido then I highly recommended this hotel.

Didn't want to leave!”
We spent 4 days in El Nido Cove and it wasn't enough. Staff so friendly and helpful. Setting stunning so unspoilt. Lots of options for adventure or chilling. Food and drink very reasonable and great quality. Will definitely return but will try and book a beachfront villa as garden rooms have no view only of front entrance. Bedside lamps would be useful too as night time reading impossible with overhead lights only. Beware of sand flies if you have white skin!!! We had mosquito spray and citronella but they still got us. Overall a brilliant holiday thank you so much.

Transferred to another hotel but we're handled very good”
Upon arrival at El Nido Cove we were told that the whole resort is in renovation and we were upgraded to it's sister company Casa Kalaw. It's fine since we were picked up by a shuttle van going to another resort. Staffs we're very helpful and kind.

The best!”
I stayed at this hotel in December of 2015, and it was so good that i recently booked my parents to go this July 2016. The PROS - the staff treat you like their own family! Very hospitable, and accommodating. Our van to puerto princesa left at 4 am and because we couldn't have breakfast, they packed as a nice sandwich and a drink each. - the location is breathtaking. Situated right by the beach, you dont need to move from your bed to get a glimpse of the stunning views. - each guest has a free kayak hire. - the rooms were clean, and the beds and pillows were also very comfortable. Lastly, the very minimal CONS of staying at this place. - it's away from the town and it's about a 20-30 minute tricycle ride costing about 300 pesos. - because it's so far away from the town, the only food choice you'll have is their in-house restaurant. BUT, don't be disheartened, it is an excellent restaurant at an affordable price. - not much phone reception and internet. Which is understandable given that you're in a secluded island. In my opinion, this hotel is worth every cent you pay and you get what you pay for. It is worth the trek to El Nido from puerto princesa and the serenity of the place ensures that you have a relaxing and rejuvenating time.

Personal & secluded”
The hotel is about 20 minutes tricicle-ride north of el Nido. This means a beautiful hotel, lots of tropic privacy and personal attention. If you want some peace and not the prices of the islands resorts, this is the place. If you want to enjoy the nice little town of el Nido (for dinner and drinks), this might not be for you.

Very nice beach hotel”
We booked a Garden Room but were upgraded to the Beachfront Room upon arrival at the hotel. The 6 beachfront rooms are really great. The hotel manager Shirlette and her staff are taking great care of all your wishes, needs and requirements. They have a good chef who prepares fresh food with a good variety for all meals. The only downside is the distance to El Nido. It is a painful 25Min ride in the hotels tricycle to get to El Nido. Certainly worth staying and a great alternative to the heavily overpriced resorts off shore. Stay here and get your own boat for Island hopping at less than half the price.

Nice View”
the el nido cove resort and spa is a perfect place to spend time with a loved one. the resort is located in a secluded area and away from the typical tourist trap. we had a beach front room and the view was awesome. the room was large and very clean. the hotel staff took good care of everything. the only issue was with hot water in the shower when there was not power but we only had to ask and they started the spare generator for us. i would recommend this place if you like quiet time together. the hotel will provide a trike ride to the town approx. 30 minutes away.

Exceptional”
Rustic basic room - but that's really all you need when you are able to witness the most gorgeous sunsets from the outdoor bar. You are in El Nido to explore and island hope, so the cove is an excellent place to retreat to and enjoy peace and quiet. The staff is friendly and super helpful. I will we back!

Gem in El Nido”
i stayed here two nights with friends for a weekend holiday. i was impressed by the bali-inspired architecture and the lovely garden. our room was clean, spacious and right in front of the beach. the best thing i liked about our stay was how charlette catered to our requests. she'd ask what we'd like for breakfast and dinner. she even gave us tips on the best places to go to in el nido. we were not disappointed in our bar-hopping on friday night. overall, i will readily stay here again. truly enjoyed this resort.

tranquilite...”
i stayed at el nido cove for 4 nights.it was beautiful and unforgettable staying.of course it has demerit which is far from town(about20~25min by tricycle) and food.at first i was fascinated by its atmosphere and careful manager but disappointed by distance and their food.breakfast was okay but dinner was poor.they have 2 menus only and taste wasn't good and expensive.so better to have dinner in town and back to hotel by their tricycle.hotel provides tricycle just pay for fuel.other than food and distance, everything was superb.for backpack traveller not recommended but anyboby wants to enjoy quiet vacation then it'll be the best option.

Lovely and Quiet”
we had a lovely experience staying here. upon arrival, staff were very friendly and helpful. we booked the garden room and was upgraded to a beachfront for free. no menu at that time we stayed so dining was whatever the kitchen has. food was excellent, it was always a nice surprise to us. there is always a chicken/pork dish, beef, vegetables and fish. hotel is about 10km from el nido central, a complimentary tricycle ride is provided to and from town daily. hotel can book you island tours. massage by the beach also available. nice clean rooms. minor issues with electricity and water especially night time. no internet available in rooms. highly recommended for couple and/or family for quiet, beautiful vacation in el nido.

Real break from the world”
we traveled to el nido resort after a short stay in sabang to visit the underground river. el nido is not very easy to reach, you can go by boat, but everybody strongly advised us against it (i think mainly because was more remunerative for them to take us with a van), we checked it out anyway but they didn't make the minimum number of bookings to let the boat sail. so van it was. the roads are pretty bad, very bumpy and it takes about 6 hours to get there, not the most pleasant trip. having said that, once you get there you realize is totally worth it. the place is an absolute paradise and the staff is lovely and very helpful. we didn't find many info about the place on internet, so it was a bit of a blind booking. the resort is a little bit out of town, it will take you about 20 mins on a tricycle, but if you're ok with riding a motorbike over bumpy roads then that's your best bet. we were in a garden room, very simple no view, i don't know what's the price difference, but if you can book one of the ocean view rooms, the view is spectacular. electricity is from 6pm till 8am and forget about internet, to be honest i'm addicted to the phone, checking my email, work, etc.... and i'm so glad i couldn't, the world didn't end and i had a real break.

Great resort”
I stayed at the El Nido resort in November 2017 and loved the property. Very tranquil and approximately 20 minutes from El Nido town by Tricycle. The staff at the pool bar were very friendly and the food was also nice. Nothing to complain about. I would be happy to stay again.

Idyllic El Nido secret”
we traveled by land on a hired private van from puerto princesa to el nido that took almost 5 hours. we got to the resort at around 8 pm after having dinner in bing's bees (curry) in town. the resort is 30 minutes away from el nido town going north to the iti airport.we booked for two garden rooms for three nights stay but these were upgraded to beachfront rooms upon our check-in. the beach is beautiful and so private. the view from the rooms and the veranda is just awesome!!! we slept listening to the waves nearby, and woke up with the serene sound of the bay.breakfasts at the patio overlooking the sea was great! the food is modest and needs more enhancements. the resort's tricycle can bring you to town and also pick you up whenever you need to. but you can also pay for a van for 1,000/day if you prefer it.ms. shirlette the resort manager was so accommodating and the rest of the staff helpful and always smiling!!!
