Seagulls is right on the beach ”

Very few hotels have swimming pools in this town They have a lovely pool and balcony a great view Rooms small The only downside is the loud music from the 12th floor - disco And every night they had weddings so the first floor was noisy too

Good hotel near the beach and close enough to city center. Lots of eateries in walking distance. my room is on 10th floor and offer nice partial sea view and city view. I always stay at Seagull everytime I visit Quy Nhon.

Excellent concierge service”

Check in at the concierge was an unusual experience, later I realized why. The concierge knew it's my birthday, placed a birthday cake in my room while I was out, it gave me a big surprise. You can book tours at concierge, price was quite reasonable and the driver was honest.

The hotel is very nice. The staff are helpful and their english is good. Overall, our two day stay was very nice. It is in a good location, bathroom nice. Everything you expect from a posh hotel. However the sent a shirt and a dress to be laundered and my $120 shirt came back completely ruined. Although the staff were extremely apologetic and one receptionist even went out to try and find me a similar one, there wasn't much they could do.

If you can train your staff to respect guest’s privacy a bit more, that would be wonderful. They pushed in my room without knocking twice to inquire after my needs. When I hang the Do not disturb in my door so that they don’t need to clean the room, they immediately called me to see if I’m ok. I’m ok, thank you very much, that was my choice.

Always exceptionally great placewhat”

What stood out most was the great location. The roof top bar is very nice. I enjoyed a few fine margaritas there. If i were manager there i would have some music playing. I had to ask to have them play and then after couple songs no more.

Right on the beach”

A bit outdated but clean, location is perfect. Great place to stay in the city, especially in low season! I made a special request when booking (room on the north side) which was NOT sent to the hotel (nothing on the voucher). I already had the issue on another booking years ago (airport pick-up request not received by the hotel), maybe some problem to investigate on Agoda side?

I have visited Quy Nhon many times in the last 2 or 3 years and this is by far the best hotel I've stayed in. A great location right on the breachfront with great views. Rooms are clean and hotel has excellent facilities.

Old hotel with clean and nice rooms, and an amazing location”

Great place to relax, old style rooms but very clean and with an amazing view of Quy Nhon city. Efficient and friendly staff, english spoken, not my first stay and I will definitively continue to go back there!

Well located by the beach”

Staff were efficient & helpful, including changing the in-room kettle for a newer one; the doorman was particularly friendly. We also appreciated the welcome plate of "bahn it", a local snack. The huge range at the breakfast buffet covered both Vietnamese & Western dishes, with the omelettes and the strong coffee being standouts. The hotel is located on the southern half (& cleaner half) of the main city beach. It was great having direct access to beach, along with foot-washing facilities handy when you re-enter the hotel. The nearest supermarket and other food options are about 1.2km away. We were allocated a clean and spacious room on the 8th floor in the new wing; rooms here have sea-facing balconies. They gave us a room that was shaded throughout the afternoon; this made the room cool but bright. The balcony also allowed us to enjoy the invigorating breeze as well. In the mornings, you can access the 3rd floor deck for a great view of the sunrise, beach & boardwalk.

Extremely Attentive Staff”

My third time at the Seagull, good rooms in the new section, breakfast buffet varied local and western, it goes cold fairly quick but does get replenished, the staff try very hard to please, the girl at the pool cafe,bar was extremely attentive, and as Asians struggle to stay afloat in water the pool attendant is kept busy, we saw him save two in ten minuites one day and another one the next day. This in probably four hours total time. Plenty of taxis at the front we didn't eat there as there are many good restuarants down on the water front.

I've stayed here 4 times since 2010. I would not consider staying anywhere else. The entire staff go out of their way to make sure your stay is all it should be. Quy Nhon is a great location and much is being done to improve the City.

Good Value for Money”

The room was spacious and clean though the carpet was out dated but this was overcome by the location which is right on the beach and should say one of the wonderful beach . The internet is slow. Overall it is a good value for money .

Good hotel in a good location”

We stayed at the Seagull Hotel for four nights and really enjoyed our stay, the room with ocean view was great,breakfast was good the beach at the back of the hotel was clean and the water clear and very safe to swim in.It is about a fifteen minuite walk tom anywhere, but the town is friendly and safe, a walk along the beach front to where the fishing boats moor finds an location of small local bars and resturants and caffees the food is mainly live seafood reasonable price but haggle.The chinese resturant and the seafood one coloured blue next door mabe owned the same way are great. Menus are hard to understand but the excellant staff help. $15 for whole duck or $7.50 for half with steamed veg as good as any I have had in world.The pictures outside of food tell it is correct place.

Great location”

Great check-in. They had everything ready for us when we walked in the door. Hotel very very clean. Had a lovely pool and you could swim at beach as well. It is that close. Breakfast was great. Free use of computer, very handy. Lovely at night and easy to walk to town.

Nice hotel right on the beach”

Stayed for 3 nights in this lovely hotel. The room was a good size, very comfortable and very clean. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Buffet breakfast was good and plenty of variety. The view from our balcony was fantastic. The pool is undercover but quite pleasant. The restaurant has lovely food for dinner. Really enjoyed our stay. Only drawback is it is a short taxi drive from the main area for restaurants, but the taxi fare is cheap. Would recommend this hotel.

Excellent rooms with friendly staff”

the hotel and it's staff were fantastic. the rooms were large and had all the required amenities ( minibar, toiletries, cable tv etc) staff were very helpful and had a booking agent on sight which helped us book a bus ticket to hoi an and it didn't appear that the hotel charged us much (or if at all) for booking the tickets. staff were at times a little hard to understand, however not a huge problem. breakfast provided and the restaurant were ok. not fabulous but was convienient as not a lot if restaurant options around us.

Pleasant surprise”

quy nhon is a quiet, seaside town with few foreign tourists. seagull hotel is one of the best hotel's in town with spacious and comfortable deluxe rooms. great place for a quiet low key vacation but not if you want shopping and western style diversions and restaurants.
