Great stay for me”
I love this hotel....the stunning lobby makes me feel good during check in. Friendly staff...hassle free check in...spacious room...spacious bathroom...good breakfast..beautiful room deco...easy access to tour bus meeting point....walking distance to La Rambla and Placa de Catalunya. It would be better if the hotel could provide kettle in the room.

Great location and comfortable room”
We are first time to Barcelona, and really enjoy the stay. The staff is friendly, location is perfect close to most sights with lots of bars and restaurants nearby.

My second time staying at this hotel and it is just the most perfect location! Port Vell is literally down the road which then leads to the beach and you’re right on top of the gothic quarter, it is literally behind the hotel so you can get everywhere on foot!!! The hotel itself is lovely and clean and the staff are the most friendly, always go out of their way to be of help! We had breakfast included which was really nice there was a good selection to set you up for the day. The rooms are spacious, clean and classicly modern. I could not recommend this hotel enough!

We stayed four nights in June & we would recommend this hotel for it's position, cleanliness & friendly reception staff. The breakfast is more than adequate with a lot to choose from. Th position of the hotel is a real bonus as you are VERY close to many restaurants, tapas bars & the waterfront. La Rambla is in easy walking distance. The only exception was the waitress in the bar - we didn't return after our first experience there!

Perfect Place to Explore and Relax ”
We loved our stay here. The location was perfect. Our room was small but cozy and we had a balcony. The staff were wonderful. Breakfast was very good. Definitely would stay again and recommend.

What a great stay at Barcelona Colonial. In the center of Gothic Section and in the middle of restaurants, bars & activity. Wonderful breakfast. The best part is the front desk staff. So accommodating. I highly recommend this hotel.

The location was perfect! So many things in walking distance. Gothic Quarter, Promenade, La Rambla, La Boqueria, Barceloneta Beach. Staff was very friendly and helpful! I would Highly recommend this hotel.

Good hotel depending on the room location”
This hotel is a generally good as a four-star hotel. BUT remember, your room location is very very important. I stayed here for 3 nights. On the first day, my room faced the street. I couldn’t get to sleep because of traffic noise and people’s gabble until 3-4 AM. After then, I couldn’t sleep again because of subway vibration. I talked to staff, he imediately changed my room to the back room. It was quite and great. If I visit Barcelona again, I’ll stay here in the quite room. :-)

Great hotel”
Extremely helpful and courteous staff. Nothing to much trouble , even finding us a suitable vaccum cleaner to vacuum pack our clothes for our return. Really enjoyed our comfortable stay here which was within easy walk from harbour, la rambla and metro. Also some fantastic restaurants nearby. We would definitely stay here again but wish there was coffee and tea in the room.

Hotel closed to all amenities ie: shops, restaurants, the watersides. We had a lovely stay here for 3 nights, staff were friendly, knowledgeable and always attentive. Highly recommend
