The jungle trekking, the encounter with orang utans, the rafting and the whole Bukit Lawang atmosphere are the highlight”

it is located right by the bank of River Bohorok, opposite to the jungle which gives undisturbed and peaceful ambience of the nature. The room and the bed are spacious and well maintained. The staff was very helpful and friendly.
Beware that you need to walk 15-20 mins from the nearest parking lot to reach the cottage or ride a motorbike through the narrow alley. During rain, it could be an issue. However, the cottage staff is capable of carrying your luggages on their motorbike, so no issue on that part. Also, to our surprise the alley is so lively, full of guest houses, cafes, restaurants and stalls. We wish such information is provided in the cottage’s description.

Calm and beautiful location. Easy Start for Trecks with engaged and knowledgeful staff. They make nearly all kinds of personel interests possible. All Guides are caring about each person. As they have an Eco attitude they support local Initiative for planting, education and cleaning. Relaxing atmosphere, good breakfast and family feeling with other guests and Team.

overall, there's nothing to disappoints from eco travel cottage. beside, i always stay at this place and never gave a bad rate(you may look from my history) since eco travel really a good place to stay. but this time, i kinda disappointed with the service. i order breakfast 3 pack and the menu literally mention there's toast. but when they served us the breakfast, there's no toast and no explanation. so when we check out, i ask about the toast. and they said the toast is out of stock. they didnt even mention about it before. no substitute menu and we still pay at the same price.

their cleanliness, staff's friendliness, their quite and peaceful place, and of course, the natural scenery there, will soothing your eyes and fade away your stressfull. room's basic need is more than complete. they provide more than what i expected. its really worth it to stay at this place. Special Thanks to Mr. Kembar, he really helped us a lot there. and provide what we need. nothing to doubt when it comes to this place. i've been back here again and again for many times and theres never be a disappoinment.

This was one of the most pleasurable stays I've had in a long time. I stay at hotels roughly 70 nights per year so I have a lot to compare this hotel to. The rooms are extremely well kept, the bed is very comfortable, the mini bar stocked, and the bathrooms are very clean and the water very hot. Breakfast is simple but delicious. The location is a little far from the "city" but still walkable. The staff is INCREDIBLE. I've never stayed somewhere where every single person was kind and accommodating. I can't recommend this place highly enough.
The only small issue is they don't serve dinner. But if you ask they can arrange to have a simple dinner delivered to you if you don't feel like leaving the property. There are plenty of dinner options very close by, however.
