Beautiful resort next to nature”

I've spend 3 nights in Eco Capsule Resort. It's a 20min walk away from Penang National Park, 5min to the butterfly farm and a couple of minutes walk to the fruit farm as well. If you like spending time away from big cities and if you are into hiking -Penang National Park got a lot of hiking tracks which will keep you busy for a couple of days - then I can recommend this place to you! The resort itself is new. Shower and toilets were very clean during my stay and the capsule (bedroom) has air conditioning and power. With all the trees arround the place you feel like staying in the middle of a jungle, espacially at night. The owners are very kind and loving people. If I needed anything they'd always offer me help. They can speak good English and make you feel very welcoming. If I visit Penang in the future again I will definitely stay at Eco Capsule Resort again.

peace in the rain forest”

As a naturalist and wildlife photographer the location of the Eco Resort is ideal.Located in the rain forest wildlife is on the doorstep and the air fresh. The accommodation and facilities are excellent value for money .The toilet and wash facilities are very good and clean and the matress and pillow in my eco capsule comfortable ensuring a good nights sleep. The location is close to bus routes whic enable you to get about easily.However ,the pleasantest thing about my stay was the helpfulness of the owner Dino who was giving help and advice in many situations. A place I shall visit again HIGHLY RECOMMENDED Michael

FANTASTIC!”

Loved this place!! My kids absolutely loved staying in the cute cabins. So peaceful,quiet,comfortable and clean. Really nice owner who is happy to assist, including driving us to Batu Ferrenghi for dinner. Right next to the forest and a local swimming facility. Short walk to escape park. Free use of bikes to ride to Teluk Bahang (at night there are no close by eating options so either self cater using the fully equipped camp kitchen or catch a ride to town with Dino, the helpful owner) Spotless shared bathrooms. We saw giant black squirrels, lots of birds and a friendly family of gorgeous Dusky Monkeys in the grounds .A great antidote to busy Georgetown, can't wait to come back!

Exceptional”

We had a great two nights here. From the beginning, Deano was really welcoming and very helpful. He showed us around the resort and then drove us around the local area. The pods and toilet facilities are lovely, modern and kept really clean. The resort is set amongst a jungle with a lake containing fish and turtles! Deano even offers to drive you into Batu Ferringhi in the evening for a few hours to grab dinner and do shopping, then will pick you up when you're ready to head back. Also very close to Penang National Park and can borrow a bike to get there. Can't thank Deano enough for his hospitality and would 100% recommend staying here. 10/10.

Escape from the hustle and bustle ”

Quiet, reasonably clean, friendly hosts, affordable . Enjoyed the fresh air of the reserved forest. Just a few steps away from Escape, Entopia and Teluk Bahang Dam. Do hope the Penang government do their bit to spruce the park up, which is looking very tired now.

Very good”

During my visit, the place is new and clean.near to the forest and recreational area of Teluk Bahang. Less crouded except in the recreational park. Suitable for nature lover here. A bit far from cities need a personal transportation to go anywhere around Batu Feringgi area. Unless a bus will stop nearby Escape to pick you from and to the facilities. Overall experience is good if you wish to avoid cities hustle. Cheers!

Nature walks, turtles and monitor lizards”

Dino (the host) was amazing! He was very helpful and drove us around, gave us great tips for tavelling around all Penang and Langkawi. From time to time he asked us if we are ok and if we need anything else. He was always smiling and very friendly. The area is just amazing. There is a pond, where you can find fishes and turtles. Sometimes few monitor lizards come to swim in the pond, too. Also, there are three little bats, who live at the hut in the middle of pond. Moreover, from the place it is super easy to reach all the trails to the beaches in National Park - you can walk (as we did), cycle (Dino provides free bicycles for all if his guests) or catch a bus, which stops just few hundred meters from the park. There is also a karaoke set, which you can turn on and enjoy whenever you want!

Perfect location”

This Resort is right next to Entopia Farm (or known as Butterfly Farm) and Escape Park. Guests could visit the highly exhausting Escape Park and walk back to resort. To top if off, the resort is part of a forest reserve where guest can go on hiking trail (but do ask for advice when and where to go). The person-in-charge, Mr. Dino is extremely helpful, offering to drop guests to the bus terminal and restaurants/eatery. A quiet and comfortable place to spend the holiday. Highly recommending it.

Amazing place with incredibly helpful owner”

I wanted to hike the national park and to stay close by rather than getting the bus to and from Georgetown in one day and I am so glad that I did and that I found this place. The owner is super helpful, the place is clean and the room is comfortable. More than that the setting of the resort is just amazing, set inside the forest reserve I saw monkeys, turtles and a monitor lizard wandering around and bathed in the river after my long hike. I would 100% recommend this place for a stay!

suitable for young people”

the place was really nice. there are night market near the place. we love it so much. sure will come again! but, the toilet outside the capsule so it not suitable for those who want to bring family with old people and small kids.

Great Nature Escape”

A great place to stay if you're into nature and not the fussy type. Capsule rooms and relatively small but comfortable.

It was so serene. The view is amazing, it's located near the Escape Theme Park, and Entopia which is just a stone throw away from the Resort. The cons? I hope maybe can build a surau, a little place for Muslim to pray.

perfect getaway for nature lovers ”

Didn't expect much so was really impressed by how clean and well maintained everything was! The perfect balance of nature and the wild and the comforts of modern life as well. ac and water heater worked fine, and surprisingly few mosquitoes. Mr Dino was super friendly and helpful in telling us more about the place, wish we could have stayed longer. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a quiet place away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Looking forward to coming back here again!!!

What a place to stay! Right in the forest, it’s peaceful, at nature and the rooms are so clean! Also bathrooms very clean and look like new! Had a good time here

Just like camping...”

...but with air con! Peaceful spot, where swimming and hiking can be done in the Forestry Park. Loads of wildlife to keep Miss Five occupied. Right next to Entopia and Escape. Basic kitchen facilities for basic meal preparation., which is great. There are bicycles to use to scoot into the village though. Staff are very helpful, including lifts in Batu Ferringhi for dinner. Highly recommended.

though a bit far from town, but its a nice place to calm down your mind. cant find such forestry place in city. a cooling place and enjoy fresh air all day long.
