Best hostel”

This has been the best hostel I have visited during my 1-month-trip to Thailand. Not only the location was great and the place was clean, but Echo Beach Hostel has a great common space to gather with other Backpackers. There was free tea, coffee and water all day long, great music until 2am and the personal was attentive

Good social areas, in front of the beach”

A very social hostel, just in front of the beach, even if it is not the nicest in the island. Clean in general, it has a huge social part so you never get bored there. The only bad thing is the wifi: very slow. Even if they have banners announcing that it is very slow and that "you can talk with other people instead", sometimes you really need a good internet, not just to be social, but for work. Anyway, the price is good for the quality you get for it

i think this is the best hostel in phangan , nice and cozy ambiance. the beach and common area is awesome you can meet other peoples always.

Best in Koh Phangan”

One of the best hostels i’ve visited on my trip to Thailand. Hostel has a relaxed vibe during the day with great food and delicious fruit shakes from their own cuisine. During the nighttime there’s always someone hanging around at the bar or the free pool table to play a game of killerpool! Kitchen has great food at affordable prices. Bar has happy hour from 1-3pm and 7-9pm and every day special promotions. Music played by the owner is top notch. Chillout vibes during the day, music that makes you dance during the night. Easy to meet new people as a solo traveller because there’s lot’s of places to hang out. Defenitely would stay again!

Good ambiance”

Eceryone is really cool in this hostel, the place is so nice (wster in the beach is pretty warm though). Nice pre-parties as well

Nice place, good staff but very poor private rooms”

Stayed here over New Years, 5 nights. The staff are very welcoming and the place is nice, right on the beach with a good atmosphere. The actual room is in a different building across the road. It is VERY minimal, bed, 2 pillows, 2 small micro fleece blankets and 2 small bedside tables. No towels. There are 3 shared showers/toilets. In the five days I was there, not once did someone come to change sheets and clean the rooms, I get it is a hostel but you pay quite a bit more for the private room, I expected it to be cleaned and the sheets to be changed at least once. The only hostel I've stayed in where I didn't get a towel. The common area of the hostel was cool, but you could enjoy that without staying there. If you are in droms, I'd say it is grand but do not stay there in the private rooms.

Great location with private beach, cool people, cool staff. You can rent a scooter at the hostel!

Perfect for solo travellers”

They have free cold and hot water to drink and also free coffee. Everywhere was clean. Separate toilets and bathroom first time I saw here in Asia. It was very good. Near the beach but not very good to swimm. Very friendly staffs. All people are party type, I dont suggest to go with your girl friend. Perfect place for alone or with friends travellers. All night loudly music and good bar.

Fun friendly staff, great vibe and good food. What more could you ask for? Oh how about some hammocks and lounge chairs to relax in. They have that too!
