Dzay homestay was amazing! I was warmly welcomed and the whole family was adorable! My friends joined me at the place and they also enjoyed all the food, the cooking with the family and also the trekking with them. The place has an amazing view and its well located for the trekking, to meet up with locals, visit the villages, and do some shopping for the handcrafted local souvenirs. A very warm, and welcoming stay- would highly recommend!”

Cuong was very friendly and an excellent host and guide. When we arrived we prepared dinner with the family and ate together. The next day Cuong took us out on a hike around the beautiful surrounding rice paddies and was happy to answer all of our questions. It was a fantastic way to see Sapa and get to know more about the local communities. I will be back again on my next visit to Sapa for sure!

Our host was very accommodating, hospitable, friendly, and invited us to have dinner with his family. It was an immersive experience. Our free breakfast was nice, which included hot pancakes with honey and banana, and tea and coffee. Our room was cozy. The view was breathtaking.

Rustic homestay in a beautiful location with a great local guide in the host.”

The host was great and was my guide on a tour of the region on a two-day trek that was good, for a reasonable price. He explained about the region from a local’s perspective, and had great English. His family was lovely.
The room and home could have been a bit tidier, and the bedroom where I stayed I could hear rats scurrying above the room which was not ideal. The breakfast was good but basic, pancakes. I really liked the homestay where the host brought me the second night of the trek!

Fabulous”

Cuong (the host) was super helpful and welcoming. His family were really sweet - we even had fun entertaining his kids for a bit. Setting of the homestay is lovely - quiet, with a nice view from the outdoor covered seating area. There is a &#39;menu&#39; of meals, drinks, tours and laundry in the communal area. We did the 6-7 hour guided trek with Cuong which was great! We covered 15km and saw views and places we would never have found or been to scared to access otherwise.
Dinner was a bit expensive, but really enjoyable and freshly made food. A really good fill for a fixed price though!

Stay here if you&#39;re going to Sapa!”

Best homestay we&#39;ve stayed at in the whole of Vietnam! About 16k outside of Sapa, nestled right in the valley among the rice terraces and local villages. The family are LOVELY - we even got to prepare and eat dinner with them :)

Escuchamos y vimos pasar dos ratas por el techo. Algo normal teniendo en cuenta que estábamos en medio del campo. Pero si eso te parece demasiado rústico no es tu lugar. Para mi es algo natural.

Muy auténtico, entorno natural, aunque habitación pequeña era muy pequeña.”

El entorno, la casa estaba en un sitio maravilloso, tenías una mesas y unos bancos y sillas y podías quedarte contemplando todo aquello que quedaba en la parte de detrás de la casa , habían vistas preciosas, mucha tranquilidad, te invitaban a te. El desayuno café de sobre y tortitas con miel , no muy variado pero abundante
Aunque el dueño nos dio a elegir entre dos habitaciones, ambas era muy muy pequeñas, solo cabía la cama doble y una mesita, elegimos la cama de abajo por estar más cerca del patio que era donde estaba el baño. La habitación era una division en el que parecía el comedor de la casa, no tenía techo y por supuesto tampoco aislamiento, por suerte todos se durmieron pronto y no tuvimos.problemas de ruido. La cama tenía mosquiteras pero estaba rotas en algún trozo lo que nos hizo preocuparnos por las arañas que habían entre la pared y la cama y debajo de ella (más que nada por el tipo de arañas que hemos visto en Vietnam y porque en esa habitación era imposible mover la cama para limpiar). La habitación estaba como dividida en dos justo a los.pies de la cama, con una cortina tras la cual había una especie de almacén muy pequeño (aquello era muy extraño)... No dormimos mal a excepción de que sobre las 3:00h escuchamos un ruido y vimos un par de ratones en las Bigas del techo de la habitacion, encendimos la luz se fueron pero ya nos costo conciliar el sueño. Al hacer el check in el dueño nos enseño la carta con los precios de las cenas, y lo vimos un poco caro en comparación a lo que había por ahí, ya lo habíamos leído en otras opiniones, así que decidimos salir a cenar por nuestra cuenta.
