Classic old building, friendly staff”

i have stayed here a few times over the past 3 years, and i like this hotel. that said, there is much better value around dalat for places to stay but it is worth coming to hotel du parc from time to time for a bit of classic history. the location is very good, an easy walk to lots of good food in all directions. we spent three nights here, and it was very nice. i like the staff a whole lot, very helpful and friendly. breakfast is across the road (le cafe de la poste) and if it is included in your room rate it is worth it. but if, like us, it is not included then i don't recommend it due to high price. there are so many better options around for local vietnamese food for a fraction of the cost. the lake is a very short walk from the hotel. also, you can use the gym in the dalat palace (used to be the sofitel) and it is really nice. hotel du parc also has a very nice spa with very skilled massage, but i didn't use it this time. taxis are very easy to get right at the front door.

Had a wonderful stay”

Dalat Hotel Du Parc is an impressive historical building in perfect condition. Staff at reception are very polite and helpful. If you are a golfer try out the golf course that belongs to Dalat Palace and Dalat du Parc - there are special rates available for hotel guests, its design is very nice with lots of water hazards and flowers everywhere. Golf and airport shuttle upon request. No breakfast facilities or restaurant, meals are available in the Cafe de la Poste just across the road. Gorgeous old building, good food and drinks, yet very expensive. I would definitely stay inherent Dalat Hotel du Parc again.

Dalat's Old World”

I think the du Parc is great....maybe better than Dalat itself, which is a motorbike capital of the Central Highlands. Yes, the old is a vestige of the French colonial world, but it's very nice, and the prices are great, and the breakfast is a spread. All very good and nice. Dalat itself left me a touch cold. Just such heavy traffic, and I was on a bicycle to get around. Bao Dai's summer palace is great, as is the old railway station, and both are close to the du Parc, which is front and center in Dalat.

Excellent responsive service and we will continue to choose this hotel ”

Our intended stay of 1 day, became 3 days as we enjoyed the excellent responsive service of the staff, particularly our special thanks to the Front Manager, Mr. Vo Quoah and bell boy Minh, who made us feel at home and want to come back to the hospitable hotel again. The hotel is service oriented and we feel well looked after, especially when staffs go out of their way to help us in our trip and many of inquiries. Besides its comfort and aesthetic charm, the hotel staff from the bell boy, guards up to the reception, restaurant staff to the Front Manager all made special efforts to make our stay memorable and that guest are important to them. We will give it a rating of over 8.0 but having said that, the hotel could still make improvement to gain higher rating by stationing a lift attendant in its old french style lift and installing a water jet-spray to the toilet bowl/closet. Dalat Hotel Du Parc comes with our recommendation and it will definitely be our automatic choice of accommodation in our next visit to Dalat.

Good trip in Dalat”

I'm very happy when come back to stay in this hotel which was give me the most enjoyable time in Dalat. All the hotel staffs give me the warmly atmosphere exactly as i had 10 years ago. I love the way Du Parc keep its ancient look. Located in the city center, it is easy to approach Ho Xuan Huong lake in 5 mins, and another 3 mins to Dalat market by walking. I love this hotel and will stay in this hotel whenever coming back to Dalat.

French-Vietnamese ambience for a cheap price”

we recommend this hotel. we stayed in the superior room (bigger than standard) on the thrrd floor which still only cost a night! the hotel itself has an olde worlde 1930s art deco feel. there is a an fashioned lift with a steel gate taking you to your floor from the lobby. we didn't book with hotel breakfast as that could be had in a number places seperately and cheaply at one's leisure. there are anti=mosquito devisces in each room, though we didn't notice ant mozzies, perhaps as it was a the cool season. we left the windows open during the day. hotel du parc guests are also able to use the facilities / restaurants at the nearby dalat palace, which is an exceptionally swank place at over $200 a night. by comparison, we found the hotel du parc to be perfectly adequate.

A lovely quaint little heritage hotel in Dalat”

we stayed at the du parc hotel in dalat for 2 nights and had a great experience. the rooms are small, but clean and very comfortable and all rooms have good views. the town isn't too far, just a 5-8 mins walk from the hotel and so are most city sights like the crazy house (hang nga), etc. there is a nice french restaurant right across (part of the same hotel group) 'cafe de la poste' which serves decent food, priced a bit higher, but good nonetheless. also a good place to wind up the long day you have travelling around is to hang out and have a few drinks at larry's bar at the neighbouring dalat palace hotel, they have happy hour until 8 pm and also a small pool table to practice your cue sport skills.

Awesome little hotel, where old meets new”

This hotel is great value for money. It was a welcome respite arriving here from the heat and madness of Saigon. Staff of the hotel were helpful and courteous. We took a standard room and it was pretty comfortable and had enough space. 15 min walk into Dalat city center along a pleasant downhill gradient, however the way back is uphill and you might be better off with a Taxi. The Mecure shares facilities with the Sofitel down the road, and I used the gym there. Also, on the last day there was a free yoga class on the gardens of the Sofitel which I signed up for. The massage facilities at the Mecure is also pretty excellenet value for money. I had a full body massage by a very professional massuese for $20USD - 60mins. Only gripe I had was with the guy at reception one evening, we needed to book land transport to Nha Trang, he made a few "calls" in front of us and then told us there werent any buses left, and our only option was to book a private car for $100USD! We went around into the Sinh Tourist office in Dalat and booked a bus to Nha Trang for $5USD, despite the fact that reception guy said he tried calling this company too. Go figure! Other than that, I'd recommend this hotel as its good value for money, and the service was excellent.

Beautiful hotel with great service”

It's my first time to Dalat and had a wonderful exerience in Dalat Hotel Du Parc. My check in time should be 1200pm but I arrived at the very early morning.(5:30am) The reception helped me to check in earlier so I can take a break. The decoration in the hotel is nice and cute. I enjoyed my stay at Dalat Hotel Du Parc.

The Dalat Hotel Du Parc is a beautiful old hotel that boasts a lot of European charm for which Dalat is noted. The service was wonderful, and the room was clean, quiet, and exactly what we needed after our days spent hiking, rappelling, and wandering around the city. Take advantage of the breakfast if possible.

Beautiful Heritage hotel in the heart of Dalat”

This hotel is an absolute gem! Rooms are really comfortable, service is great and the hotel is located close to everything! There was no air conditioning but this was not an issue as Dalat was cool anyway when I visited..Ask for one of the rooms at the back in the Special comments when you make a booking. We got a fabulous corner room with 2 windows and an a great view of the back of Dalat ( the non lake facing side). When I go back to Dalat I will be staying here again and I will be recommending to friends... The only thing I didn't like was the $8 buffet breakfast across the road that is where you have breakfast if it is included in your stay at the hotel. Skip this and head down to the lake for better breakfast options and an amazing view Enjoy your stay in Dalat and at this hotel!

CLASSIC HOTEL IN DALAT”

My first visit to Dalat and staying at the Du Park Hotel on the recommendation of my wife... accompanying us our five month old baby and twenty-one year old son... the hotel was built in 1932 and still has the attractiveness of the self-operated elevator... The rooms are adequate size, clean... the bed very comfortable... overhead ceiling fans and no aircon... it seems Dalat not humid to require aircon. The staff very friendly and accommodating; the bistro food quite good.. pool room and simple but nice lobby bar... always have taxis available and the doorman very helpful in assisting you getting around... the price very acceptable. Would stay again...

I was quite happy for 2 nights at Du Parc hotel. Only 1 thing it was hot in small room at night and we opened the windows. This is French colonial hotel style that everyone should stay once. I liked French luxury decoration and everything in the room. We was excited to enjoy old hair drier looking like vacume cleaner made in Japan and clothes drier made floor dry not slippery that was safe for old n young kids. Ẹnoying beautiful old lift well working with steel door. Lê bistro restaurant 4 buffet breakfast is very nice. Staff here were professional friendly smiley. 5 to 7mins walking 2 night Market. Buffet was OK with fresh fruits n veggie n yummy yogurt, ok 4 other dishes. My 6yr boy didn't eat 2 much n they didn't charge him 4 the 2nd breakfast. I highly recommend this hotel. I got good deal from agoda. Tks agoda. I enjoyed 2 nights at very beautiful hotel n very nice professional staff that could make us forget other small things not pêrfect.

Check in was quite fast. Room interior was just really charming and warm. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Wide range of choices for breakfast. We really had nothing to complain about during our 2 days stay in Dalat Hotel Du Parc. It is one of the best hotels that we have stayed so far ! We will definitely come back and recommend to friends and colleagues!

Lovely old colonial style”

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Dalat du Parc, the rooms were well set up, except we did not have airconditioning. The price for breakfast was rediculously high. The staff at reception did a great job organising our onward journey to Ho Chi Minh City. We would go back there any time.

Boutique hotel, great location, nice service”

we looked for a boutique hotel in a walking distance from city central and found this. it has a great location, next to a french church (nha tho con ga), 10 minutes walking from central lake (xuan huong) and dalat central market. our rooms are on the top level (4th floor), which could be reached by a lovely old-time, french-style lift or a wooden staircase. our rooms facing a main street, but it's not noisy once you close the windows. people in dalat drive in a calm and leisurely way; there's no traffic lights in the whole city; so watching morning traffic is a lovely experience. the rooms are spacious, woody, and clean. in-room wi-fi is free and fast. staffs are friendly and great.

I stayed in the Dalat Hotel Du Parc for 30 days, I felt just like at home, enjoyed the wonderful climate, very convenient location in the center of the Dalat city and a few minutes walk to the Xuan Huong Lake, 10 minutes to the City Market.

Beautiful hotel but furniture & fittings a tad old”

du parc hotel is exquisitely beautiful from the inside out... every fixtures and finishing has a historical touch. its almost stepping into another time zone. its location is pretty convenient, as its about 10mins walk to the city market centre. situated near a cathedral and a general post office,.. du parc has a quaint charming environment thus the room view was pretty nice especially refreshing in the morning. room has no aircon as dalat can be quite chilly at times of the day. the staff provides friendly and thorough service so you can be assured of a pleasant stay. however the furniture can be further improved as they are a tad old.

old style and peacefull. ”

we had a very nice vacation in dalat and the hotel impressed us a lot because of the design and friendly staff. du parc is abit far from the city but reachable. the hotel's rooms is abit small and a bit loud. ask for the room behind to avoid noise at night from vehicles.

Feel like in old European style”

Very nice design of hotel, when we arrived staff were very friendly, well talking English and good accent (A lot of Vietnamese has very bad accent and it almost unlistenable) , the room is quite narrow but it was clean, thats ok. The bathroom is also clean and has bathtub, thats very wonderful especially when we stay in the cool weather city like in Dalat. In front of hotel there were a lot of Taxi with Meter park stand by for the passenger, so its very convenient for tourist to go inside the city, The disadvantage thing is its quite far (1km) from Dalat market, which i think is the center of city, so if you dont't buy the breakfast package, you'll have to take taxi to the city for breakfast
