It's been a while since I've stayed at Drigg's. Some few updates include the neighboring businesses. Walking distance on Aparente St. include a Burger bar, Thai massage and most important? NO videoke close by! This makes for extremely quiet days. Staff is excellent, friendly, accommodating. Excellent value hotel in all regards, food, housekeeping, access to malls, etc. Highly recommended!

The Twin premium has much more usable space.. Next time I will use it. Exremely quiet. Excelle t staff. Modern luxury facility. Never slept better on the road. Currently Sunday lockdown in GenSan enforced. Consider your travel dates. Will need to stay in the compound. If your looking for a place to stay on Sunday. This is perfect.

Affordable, Friendly Staff”
I booked for 2 Twin Rooms, unfortunately, their twin rooms are in alternate numbers which would be difficult for me to look after my kids in the other room. The front desk was so kind and understanding and she upgraded me to Matrimonial at no extra cost. This way, our room is just next to the twin room where my kids are. They are very friendly and accommodating. Please keep it up.

Location is a bit far from the city but it would be nice if you have a car. Clean. Quiet feels like home . I like that the room is so big . Bathroom is spacious enough. Hot shower works well. But the Wi-Fi is pretty weak.!!!!!

Nice and Affordable Pension House”
We had a great stay at Driggs Pension House. We were able to sleep well at night. The rooms are clean and their breakfast is good. The place is also secured. Definitely this place is recommendable especially for people who are looking for a nice and affordable place to stay in. Keep it up!:)

Okay but poor wifi”
It took awhile to find the place. There was a mixed up between booking through agoda and their bookings which was so annoying. Wifi signal is very poor. The window was big and it freaked me out everytime people pass through our room as it feels like there is no privacy. No kettle in the room and had to go downstairs everytime we need hot water. One thing I like is the size of the room.

Pros and Cons”
Staff were hospitable and accomodating. The property has its own parking with 24/7 security. Room is also spacious. House keeping is also available to make up your room when needed providing new towels and linen. Television channels with variety from sports, entertainment and movies are also available. Hot and cold shower were also available. We stayed at room 10 for 4 nights. The room is located beside the stairs just near the reception and dining area. The generator was located at the back of our room. A/C was not that cold and it was also noisy. The toilet was quite spacious, however, it has an unpleasant smell. Shower curtains were quite dirty. It doesnt have a bidet but for an alternative they have a pail and a dipper. Housekeeping wasnt able to lock up our room due to the faulty doorknob that needs to be replaced. Good-thing we didnt lost any valuable item.

Positive: wifi 30mbs. AC. far from main street so no noize. Negative: Dirty shower with spider net. Broken lights. No toilet seat so you feel like dog if you want to poo. Smell bad and again dirty. If you stay there 1 or 2 nts is oki no more.

I truly enjoyed my stay at Driggs Pension House. Not only were the staff friendly and courteous, but very nice people too. The room was nice, with wi fi access and cable tv. Warm shower and airconditioning. I will be going back to the Philippines this time next year and have already decided i will stay at Driggs whenever i am in General Santos City.

Place to stay when traveling to Gen San City”
Peter and staff where great! This is a little gem in Gen San City. I stayed twice at this pension house and I will return many times over. I met other travelers that complained about their stay at other hotels around the area, but here? not a single issue to complain about. Staff is very friendly and will do all to accommodate most requests. It's nice to have a little bar/restaurant inside the compound w room service available. Security is excellent! never did I feel uncomfortable walking around the neighborhood. The area is safe to walk so you can find internet cafe, spa, food market, pharmacy, all at walking distance. Don't feel like walking? take a tricycle to anywhere ( KCC mall, SM mall, Robinson, etc... ) for about 40php they will take you... if you are local or share a tricycle? its 10php. Transfer from airport to Driggs? 350php and about 20 mins. if no traffic... I used taxi just for that trip and rest of time flagged down a tricycle. I was warned not to visit this city for safety reasons... allow me to say I had a great time here and never was i worried about my personal safety. People are very friendly and lot's of security everywhere! Tip: visit Lake Sebu and do zip line!!!! Eat at Crab a Crab. Try Antipolo b.b.q. food... Enjoy!!!

Compared to its second branch, Driggs Suites, Driggs Pension House is kinda remote. There’s also a bar nearby and a cause of disturbance if you want to have a good night sleep. The room is fine albeit old, amenities are kinda good compared to its new branch (Driggs Suites).
