Best hostel in Saigon”

I have been coming to Vietnam for over two years for work and I always stay at this hostel. The staff are the friendliest in Saigon and i now call them all my friends. Because the staff are so nice it has a relaxed atmosphere which is important. The location is the best I have stayed in, its very close to everything but not in the middle of the crazy tourist streets. The food around this location is also cheap and lots of choices. It has a market very close by, Bus station is very close by. Basically anything you need is in a short walking distance, even a super market. It has cooking facilities, and the staff will help you with anything you need. It has big lockers comfortable beds and the rooftop is really beautiful. I have stayed here for 4months working and I can highly recommend this hostel I have tried most of the hostels in Saigon now and this is by far my favourite. To top it all off its also about the cheapest.

Nice place to stay”

The place is nice, the staff is helpful. A quiet hostel in Ho Chi Minh. But there is a 3 hostel in the same name. Checking the address is a must.

im happy to be there .the staff very very friendly . but the location of the hostel too dificult to find . about the facilities ,i think it enough with the price . i will come back to this hostel when i come back to ho chi minh city .

Excellent location, friendly staff, comfortable facilities”

All around great place. The location is excellent for backpackers. It is right next to the party streets of Pham Ngu Lao and Bui Vien teeming with pubs and restaurants. The staff is very helpful recommending places to go and even helped me in my search for work round the area. The facilities are clean and the rooms are nice. Great place to stay and spend some time exploring District 1 of Saigon.

Cool air con, cool staffs.”

Few minutes from the bus station by foot. Clean floors. Friendly kitchen. Free coffee and banana in the kitchen if you reach them before 1200. Convenience of markets and shops. But, be aware of the motor bicycle rider scumbag waiting on the tunnel out of the hostel. If he says "up to you" about the day trip price after showing couple of notebooks where wrote comments about him, Mr. Chow, in different languages, leave him alone. 4 hours' ride just between the war remanent museum and the hostel, he just was doing the simple transferring job, cost me 200.000 before my argument is in vain to a hardly English speaker like him in the rain. I trust too much to be gullible. Actually, I missed Thailand, Malaysia, at the upset moment. It's a nice hostel, good experience, thank you.

Great little hostel”

Great little hostel in a great location to see Saigon that's close to most things. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Only bad thing is that if you wanted to cook yourself then the kitchen is very small. But food is very cheap to eat out anyway. Rooms are great by hostel standards with secure lockers and attached bathroom so you're only sharing with people in your dorm room. All lin all, I would definitely use again!

Not too bad”

We only stayed here for 1 night before a trip, so can’t say too much about it, however it was above average for a hostel. We had a private room, it was small but most other places in Ho Chi Minh seem similar. It was a shared bathroom which I didn’t really like, and could probably find somewhere else for a similar price that has a private bathroom. Free breakfast was good and simple. WiFi was okay, not amazing. Location was amazing, 2 minutes walk to main backpacker street but away from the noise. Staff were very helpful, helped us find a tour company for a bus trip the next day. It was fairly clean. Overall I would recommend this place to people on a budget, and staying for a short period of time.

Great Hostel!”

The location is great because it is close to the popular Buii Vien Street which is about a 5 minute walk away. You are close to many things while still having a quite and comfortable place to sleep. Good Hot water is great Air conditioner is great Beds have a nice amount of spacing in between them Everything is clean Very friendly staff Lots of rooms available Bad I really didn't like hanging out in the main area when people were smoking outside. The main doors are always left open and the ceiling fan pulls in the cigarette smoke into the main area and carries it up the staircase to where all the rooms are. Overall a great hostel though.

Perfect hostel. Room, bathrooms, toilet, all is clean. breakfast included, vietnamese and european and free banana ! Just at 2mn by walking from Bui Vien Street. The staff is very friendly, they can help you for everything. its one of my best hostel in vietnam. cheap beer, soft drinks, etc. thanks for everything.

Value for money and friendly staff”

The hostel is near Bui Vien Walking Street and major city sights are pretty much walkable from there. Bed is clean and they serve breakfast too with an awesome coffee. Their staff is of a younger age and one of the nicest and friendliest I’ve known.

Home sweet home”

Actually I have had fun days here. Here I met foreign friends unforgettable. Thanks to Tram, Hang, enthusiasm devoted to the crazy needs of my sad. Thanks Saigon Backpacker for giving me a happy day before the big turning point of my life. Definitely back after the honeymoon

Short and Sweet ”

Couldn't say much about the hostel as it was just a 10 hours layover on route to Seoul for me and my family . For the price we paid , it was a great bargain which meets to all our expectations of having a clean room for short rest , a good shower and a good wifi. Saigon Backpackers met all my expectations.

Value for money budget hostel”

There are 2 saigon backpackers hostel and this one is on the next street after pang ngu lao road. Fast check in and out with attentive staff. Wifi connection is a little bit choppy at times. They provide free towels and linens and room is cleaned everyday. Breakfast is simple with limited choices to bread or noodles. The location is a few walking distance to famous pang ngu lao road, the backpackers street. It is also a lot of restaurant, cafe and bars available nearby. Major attractions are few minutes walk away.

Fab hostel”

Quiet hostel with friendly guests, a lot of guests at my stay were workers so chilled drinks rather than party hostel. Computer is available to use. Clean bathrooms. Staff are over friendly and help you with anything you need.

Exceptional”

Highly recommend this hostel. Lovely, helpful staff, awesome atmosphere and great breakfast. Also really close to the main strip of shops/restaurants/bars but without all the noise and crowds. :))

Best hostel in D1”

If you're looking for a great hostel with friendly staff, this is it. Right next to bui vien so you can party but still sleep. Nice rooftop for having a beer.
