We had a lovely stay over all. ”
Our room had a very nice view of the lake Wakatipu. It was raining almost every day when we were in Queenstown and the ceiling was leaking. We didn’t realize it until morning when my mum notice water dropping from the ceiling so we just put one of our robes on the floor so the carpet won’t soaked even more. We didn’t report it until later on in the evening since we start out day very early for Milford sound and just forgot all about it. Anyway they apologise for the inconvenience it caused although we weren’t really bothered about it because we were tired and . The staff did ask to check it so they can do something about it but because it was all dry when we got back we just said it’s all good and they can check it after we checked out. Over-all we had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back again. Thanks Doubletree :))

Picturesque location”
This hotel was beautifully presented and overlooked the picturesque lake in Queenstown. It was not close to town but a water taxi could be ordered.. Excellent room size with a very comfortable king size bed. Great pub next door to eat at with delicious meals and friendly staff.

Fantastic location, really great facilities, very friendly and professional staff, great to have use of the spa too. Easy parking, lots of useful extras such as kitchenette which was well equipped and really clean nice spacious comfortable rooms

Probably the best place to stay in Queenstown, Whenever we go in QT I will not look anywhere else now. This is the place to be. The facilities are awesome the views are magnificent. The rooms are really neat and tidy. The room orientation are on point. More and more good things. I highly recommend this to everyone.

Upgrade”
We were upgraded to the Hilton & then were offered a room over looking the lake for an extra fee. It was worth every cent. Great spot away from the main town. Water taxi that takes you into town for $10 a person. Cannot wait to return.

very accommodating front desk staff. i love the studio type rooms. the only problem i noticed is there is no free car park for guests or even discount coupons. but still would love to come back into this hotel.

This hotel may not be in the heart of queenstown, but they do have water taxis, so you can get to town, without a problem, and they are cheap. Everything you would expect from the Himton

Friendly staff, beautiful view and modern facilities”
I enjoyed my stay there. The staff was very friendly and updated me to a room with views. The room is very clean, equipped with all modern facilities. The only thing I don't like is that you have to pay $16 to park there, otherwise you will need to park in the top of the hill and then walk down to the hotel.

Best Hotel in Queenstown”
The place was neat and super clean. The location was relaxing and peaceful, the staff are really friendly and helpful. A few minutes drive to city and you are all sorted. Stayed here for a couple of time this 2021 year and will stay here more often next year. Highly recommended for everyone.

Covid upgrade”
Due to covid and lavk of visitors, Double Tree was closed and all guests upgraded for free to The Hilton. Excellent location, friendly staff and an amazing room

It’s walking distance to the airport about 20 minutes, I enjoyed the walk across the bridge on a fine day , took the water taxi to town as it’s far from Downtown for $5 each way . The twin beds were small for me but good for average sized humans

Enjoyable Stay. Parking is a pain”
Stayed here for 4 nights in June 2021. The hotel itself is a 10-15 minute drive from the centre of Queenstown. Definitely not easily walked but there are bus and ferry shuttles ( which are not free) . The hotel itself is pleasant with a nice lakeside location. The room itself was great. Fast wifi, comfortable beds, warm powerful showers and an area to prepare food if required. Nice little lounge area separate to the bedroom which was great to relax. We used the gym and pool facilites in the Hilton hotel which is across the road. This was great being able to hop into the hot tub after a long cold day exploring. Parking is a nightmare. There is free parking available but this is extremely limited and you would spend half your day trying to nab a spot. We caved in and paid the 16 dollars a day for the parking. Parking in Queenstown in general is a nightmare but given how far the hotel is from Queenstown, more readily available free parking or even parking at a cheaper rate i.e. 10 dollar

Great place to stay while in queenstown. It’s close to the airport and the shopping centers around that area. Had to drive though to queenstown cbd. They also have water taxis available to town. Buffet Breakfast was really good. Had a veriety of options. Having a small kitchen came in handy. And the bed was really big.

Amazing Customer Service”
I had accidentally booked the wrong date, between Doubletree front desk and Adoga they swopped out the nights without any extra charges. Super star friendly staff. The room was immaculate and pretty fancy. It was very affordable due to a deal in Adoga. The only con is the parking. It’s $16 a day or park up a pretty steep road for free.

Gotta pay for nearly everything”
Beautiful lake view. However, no free wifi, very limited free parking space. We ended up paying for two days car park access. Still, even though you paid, got no space for parking if you arrive late at night. Need to park the car in the other Hilton hotel next to this resort. Quite far and uncovered walk from there. Not a very good experience. Though, the view was good and the room was sparkling clean (we paid for upgrade to lake view king bed room). If you won’t feel bad about paying much more than expected, this hotel is good after all.
