Brand new and decent hotel near by White Temple”

[ ] Doowall A brand new boutique hotel located only 5mins drive from the White Temple and approx 10mins to Singha park. Surrounding by fields and nature. Part of the property you can also find paddling boats in their own lake. We booked a standard room for 3 person (extra bed) and the room is still very spacious. Room is fully equipped with quality amenities. You can find 24hrs open pantry by the lobby with compliment drinks, fruits, instant noodle. Plus, they also have their own coffee shop with a short list of menu available up to 6pm - highly recommend the green tea milk tea with boba. You can also order to dine in the room. Staffs are friendly, attentive and very try their best to accommodate your needs. Cool Fact: the hotel was opened by a student of the man whom created the White temple. So you will find alot of artworks around the hotel as "gallery" is also part of their concept. For a month old property, I personally think it is doing very well and worth the value in every aspect. There wont be any conveninent store near by or restaurant as you will need a car to get around, so make sure you arrange all the transportation upon arrival. Grab also works but it is difficult to find because the google map is still not accurate on the direction so best to have the staff to help you communicate with the driver. For my negative feedback, I think the pool should not be at the lobby because it is very exposing of leisure time. And I hope they will soon have other payment method beside only cash and bank transfer.

Amazing hotel stay and surrounding view!”

Doowall hotel has great staffs that goes above and beyond. They are trained to be observant and caring. Upon arriving, there is always someone out to welcome you; grab you an umbrella if it rains; assist in parking your car even though its late night. The hotel is situated in a beautiful paddy field scenery with ponds and small river so it is a great place to ease your mind and relax. Only downside is the road to the hotel isn't well paved so take caution to prevent any car damage.

Nice new hotel nearby the White Temple”

The hotel is new and clean. Staff are helpful and friendly. Originally, we booked a tent at the courtyard, but when we arrived, we found it was not comfortable for us.. Because the room was too small and the tents were too closed to each other. So, we asked to move to the room in the main building. They told us to pay surcharge and that we were fine. Then we found the room in the main building was nicer with a view of the rice field., and it was more comfortable. The room was spacious with all facilities that we needed such as bathroom amenities, hair dryer, TV, coffee machine, etc. And they have separate area of bathtub, shower and toilet. Location wise; the hotel is quite far away from city center (about 30 minutes drive). The road from the main road to hotel is a bit dark and creepy at night , but we were fine with that because we drove our own car. We may stay here again if we visit Chiang Rai in the future.

Superb and absolutely stunning hotel with amazing and friendly staff!! I had a nasty fall at a train station on my way here and they were so concerned always asking if I was okay. If peace, tranquillity and nature is what you love and seek, this is definitely the place to come to!I was upgraded to a Deluxe room with my own private pool for a small amount extra per night and it was so worth it. This room is stunning!! Will definitely return!! THANK YOU DOOWALL for making your guests feel extra special!

Out of the way gem”

The Doowall is a bit out of town, but that fit our preferences perfectly. We loved the peace and quiet. The staff were very warm, attentive, and helpful. The Asian breakfast set is the thing to do, delicious vegetables, and sausage along with a warming congee! The cottages out back, where we stayed, are very small, but after an initial reluctance, we really enjoyed the environment and intimacy of the setting, especially for short stay. Watched the great conjunction from our patio!

Me and friends had the best time in Doowall hotel. The hotel staffs are very nice and the hotel itself is very beautiful. We woke up with the nicest view and slept like a log every night of our stay. โรงแรมดีมากๆเลยค่ะ พนักงานน่ารักมากๆ วิวสวย สดชื่น อาหารเช้าอร่อย จะกลับไปพักอีกแน่นอน!!

Double thumbs up and unexpectedly nice artistic hotel”

It's unexpectedly looks prettier than what shown in Agoda photos. Both interior and exterior of the hotel has very modern and contemporary designs, and everywhere decorated with pictures, painting, arts and crafts. Staffs are very friendly and made us feel like VIP all the time. Reception area is whole day filled with FOC foods and beverages like cup noodles, cereals, biscuits, fruits, coffee, mineral waters, etc. The only cons is their location as you must have car to get to this isolated hotel.

Night shift staff are so nice!”

The hotel was good, very nice for photo, free mini bar (water, instant noodles, snacks and fruits are included which is really good). Our room type is cottage (no.4-6) nearby the canal but view is blocked by the tree if you need canal view please request cottage no 1-3. I need to thank your night shift staff (2 guys) who were so polite and very helpful, both of them. Definitely recommend this hotel to my friends!

This is a very very good place for relaxation because it's kind of isolated from the outside (7-11, market, groceries). But I must bring the point that the hotel provides free instant noodles and fruits just in case the customer is hungry at night, I love the night there where it's so quiet and you can just "run away" from the busy outside world. They also provide room service just in case you needed free of charge (though I didn't try). Recommendations: Best to only book this hotel when you HAVE car access. expect bumpy road as there is no actual road to access the hotel. Overall I love this place and satisfied with everything that they offer.

Everything was nice except loud noises in front of our room”

- We've stayed at room no. 1 and everything was great. We chose this hotel for our vacation before year-end However, the room is located near reception, chilling and breakfast area so we heard everything people talking, walking and laughing.. too much noises - Hotel is located in the quiet and good atmosphere but you have to drive a car to reach destination (very far from main road) and road to get there need a lot of improvement - Facilities were perfect! Everything for free.. near by Was Rong Khun as well

Great hotel and good location from the famous places”

Great services, clean room, good view, peaceful and quiet. Moreover, the coffee shop is included at the hotel and good background for taking photos. 10/10

Friendly staff, new&modern clean room,nice view. ”

We spent 4 nights here both camping and deluxe rooms. Our group has 7 adults 1 kid and 1 baby. The hotel provide free drinking water/tea/coffee/fruit/instant noodle etc.24hrs. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Hope to come back again.

New hotel located near the white temple”

Hotel located in a tranquil area even though it’s just 1km from the Wat Rongkhun (white temple). We stayed at the camp. It’s a nice experience next to rice paddies. Clean rooms and comfy beds

Quiet getaway”

Hotel is quite far from the city (but close to the white temple and the legendary Locus Native Food Lab). Comfy bed, warm and super attentive staff. The coffee is very nice (try dirty coffee— even better than the hipster cafes on the mountain). Pool is tiny but suffice for instagrammers. The green rice fields set a relaxing atmosphere for vacations.

Perfect getaway”

Loved my stay at one of the cottages! There are bugs flying around but that's part of the glamping experience. The view is spectacular and I was able to relax in the facilities especially during the hours when the coffee shop is not open. Meals are included in the price as well. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The downside is that the road is quite hard to find so grabs & taxis would have trouble with it. You can ask the lobby for a ride to the white temple though.

The hotel is well kept. Great view of the rice fields. Service is extremely extraordinary. We will definitely come back!
