Amazing”
There’s too many thing I wanted to review about this resort. Very friendly staff and delicious breakfast. I come with my husband and i think for 3d2n was an amazing experience for my honeymoon. This resort was nearby the walking street, you just can walk by the beach to arrive there. You also can ask the staff to makeup your room while you’re out. I am so satisfied with this resort but just one thing which is dress up mirror. It would be better if resort got one. Everything is so cool and they will help you carry your luggage to the immigration depart. Once again, plainty food of breakfast and I am glad. Thank you Dong talay resort ❤️✨

The position is perfect, on the beach and near the walking street. The staff is really amazing, so friendly and always ready to help. We spent an amazing holiday. The island is all so friendly, everybody talks to you, it is like being all one family.

A fantastic place to stay and hope to go back there soon. The staff were very nice and helpful. It was quiet due to Covid times but they offered that personal touch and even took you to and from the pier. The rooms are spacious and so close to the beach.

Beachfront rooms have a great view. Staff are lovely. The pool area has a lovely view. Pool area is kept very clean. The bathrooms need updating but the rest of the room was great. Our room had a great working air conditioning. My family really enjoyed our stay.

Uncontrolled Noisy Thai families”
The main problem was noisy big families with many agitated exited kids. Probably the hotel was offering packages at convenient prices for them, while we had no promotion, prices there are actually double than in the rest of Thailand where are covid rates. The resort was full and over crowded at breakfast buffet and no one of the Thai people was wearing masks when taking the food, and no supervision by staff to remind them. Also swimming pool area was often invaded by them, jumping in water and spraying water on others nearby and shouting like in a playground kindergarten encouraged by noisy parents as well, saying that they have the right to do like that cause no rules written arround pool and hotel staff did not stop them at all, resulting in big unpleasant confrontation and discussions and no way to relax. We spent 1 week there and every day was the same cause new families coming every 3 days and the problem was never ending, and they said I should not get in the discussion defending my girlfriend, cause I am foreigner and let solve the problem between Thai people, resulting in their view that my girlfriend should fight against all of them.... The breakfast was really basic and poor looking and same daily. We extended our stay but changing to other resort where the attention and the service was really completely different and gave us the chance to recover before travel back to Bangkok.

Family trip total 5 unit room, no 15 suite aircond sucks not cold, no 21 can hear next door talking sound, no 29 & 30 TV remote control not functional, no 26 corner walk way no peace when every person walk by the floor wood squirt sound...... need more maintenance even Ricci House better stars highly recommended

When does the customer notify the boat company name and time arrival at Lipe, Because there are many boat parking, We are small resort. Unable to send 10 staff workers for wait for the same time. Not Delux bungalows, good location for beach. Bar next door so music till 3am. ”
We stayed over New Year 18/19. We knew prices would be hiked for the new year but booked anyway. The bungalows are adverised as Delux and they Are definitely not. They are dated and have patch work repairs to keep them functional. The staff are really helpful and the breakfast was adequate. There’s a music beach bar right next door which plays loud music till 1am then quietened till 3am but still...when you’re trying to sleep...not brilliant. We said to the staff but what can they do. The whole place needs money spent on it if they’re going to ask for for the overpriced non delux bungalows. Great beach location but so many more reasons to avoid.

This hotel has good beach view rooms and a great pool on the beach. The staff are super friendly and couldn’t do enough to help. The resort is dated and facilities are extremely basic. Hot water is sporadic but a/c works beautifully. Breakfast is very basic and never changes which was disappointing. Sadly the resort has a bar that plays loud music until very late and we found it impossible to get to sleep without earplugs. We found the location too busy and noisy for us but others would like it. Great spot to swim and relax looking at the beach..

We booked a bungalow with seaview but upon check-in, my children (aged 14 & 15) are not allowed to stay with us as they considered as adult. Need to book another room for them. Being me, I dont think to let them stay on their own is safe (the bungalow is located at a distance). Top-up another S$90 for a bigger bungalow with 2 bedrooms. There are many new hotels along the beach which looks good. No toothbrush set provided. Breakfast consists of fried rice, noodle, toast bread, cut fruits, coffee and tea. Decent breakfast but it is ok. Walking distance from the Koh Lipe ferry terminal to hotel takes about 10 mins walking along the beach on sand.

Worst resort ever”
1. The room is dusty and not well cleaned. Room too old to be stayed. 2. The area have a lot mosquito (small pond located near by). Due to that, they like to burn something so my cloth always smell bad! They supposed to give us electronic mosquito coil or any environmentally product. 3. Housekeeping didn’t top up new toiletries. We are staying 4 days and 3 nights. The toiletries still remain unchanged. 4. Housekeeping didn’t clean the bathroom and a lot of sand everywhere in the bathroom. 5. The corridor didn’t sweep and have a lot of sand. 6. Water flow very slow. If next room using the water, my room will get the full water flow 15 mins later. 7. When you on the shower, the water will showered the door or everywhere, not you! 8. So many dogs in hotel area. 9. WiFi connection only provide for 3 days even we stayed more than 3 days! 10. Always need to log in to the WiFi when your phone is idle for 10 minutes. So ridiculous! 11. They give us old CRT TV not the flat screen TV and We need to changed it 2 times as the area can’t received a good channel. As what being told by the staff! 12. The hotel didn’t care about the safety and cleanliness. Too bad to say you can see the water system back of your room! 13. The manager/lady owner is very rude.

Staff lazy and unhelpful. Manager was not on location or even on the island. He was rude when contacted by phone. Stay away from this resort. Hole in the roof of the beachfront room, insect nests in the toilet/shower. Breakfast cold even though we were the only guests. We had to leave after one night.

Poorer standard than expected.”
Does not correspond to photos. Lousy standard, lousy shower, tiny room that was not clean and fresh. Good location on the beach with the pool whit a good view. Few sun spots, and few sunbeds. the restaurant was not in the best condition, didn't feel fresh. The breakfast was of the lower kind. Recommend this if you don't have any major wishes for a good standard. Otherwise, choose something else. The staff at the reception do their best.
