Good accommodation located in a reasonably good neighbourhood within walking distances to a few sites like the museum, cathedral, market etc. You pay for what you get but what stands out is the friendly staff. Would recommend if you on a budget and just looking for a place to rest after a long day of travelling etc. They also have a neat little rooftop and swim area at the top that you can use

Friendly staff, cheap food, quiet backstreet... Good price, large choice of food on the street, close to a local market, rooftop with a pool! There's only one bathroom for 4 dorms, so the cleanliness keeps changing. But all in all a great hostel.

Good value for money”

This is not the fault of the hostel but at least they should write some rules in the rooms. For exemple: keep quiet after midnight (locals were making viedocall noisy still after midnight). At the same time they wear eating some bbq snaks very smelly (it is not written anywhere that it is forbidden). The AC works very well, at 18degree to compensate that the customers keep the windows open at the same time. Finally, the breakfast is good but the lady provide the food following her mood: something like "locals customers have priority and refill", "tall and massive people are served double". The funny story: After waiting 15min, she gave me my breakfast and after 2 forks she ask me to stop and she takes back my plate for giving it to another costumer..... But location is good, reception staffs are super nice, bed are confortable, fresh linen.

We were happy with our room. We got accidentally upgraded to a slightly nicer or bigger room (not sure) then when we added on a 3rd night we got accidentally downgraded to a tiny room! We got around $1 taken off the price for this, which was good. Staff were nice enough and location was good - very close to backpackers street.

Short and Simple”

Apparently this hostel withholds your passport even though you have fully paid online. Whereas most other hostels I've been too simply snap a picture and return it to me. The reason i was worried is because of passport syndicates Operating in asia that duplicate tourist passports for a fee. And the only place they can get an original copy to make fake passports is by buying from hostels. After much thoughts, i realise i was Asian and that a higher demand for central America and europe is much higher, hence, i just went with it. In any case, the hostel is the only hostel in Vietnam that keeps my passport. Cleanliness is fine, i enjoyed the rooftop where i could chill and play my music on their in built speaker. I noticed mostly long term stayers here and they have another hostel just opposite of dola 2. For the price i paid, i think it's still acceptable considering the distance walkable to bus station that takes me to moc bai just at the border of Cambodia.

My bike must be left in the rain until 9pm. The employee doesn’t say goodbye or say anything when I checkout. The swimming pool isn’t often open, from 7am to 10pm on Monday, Wednesday, Friday. I will not come back even if I have a discount

We are backpackers, so we are used living in a cheap hostels, but there is no value for your wallet in my opinion. This hostel is very dirty. We found hair in the bed and i the bathroom a lot, so I wouldn’t recommend this place. The terrace on the top is cool and the location is in the centre.

Bed bugs and rude staff, AVOID”

The entire building is infested with bed bugs, they are even living in the walls, impossible to get a good nights sleep. Staff were rude and when any complaint is made they take it personally, get very upset and enraged (banging furniture with their fists, shouting and then tell you to leave) which because of my budget i could not do untill now, i can safely say i will never return to this HELL HOLE

receptionist cursing customers”

The water heater is broken and told the receptionist many times not to repair. I need to use urgently so use the bathroom downstairs. Receptionist phones scolded me more than 6 minutes because downstairs guests reflect on the system. Although I tried to apologize and explain that the water heater in my bathroom had been broken for many days but had not been repaired, and I needed to use it urgently. I am a customer, but I am treated like a beggar.
