If the price for the stay was what I had booked on Agoda, it would have been great, but to arrive at the hotel and be informed there that there was the added (and hated) resort fee along with a $16 per day parking fee, was a shock. The housekeeping staff seemed to show up way too early for our schedule, even with the Do Not Disturb sign displayed, but seemed willing to come back later. On the plus side, we were about 4 blocks from Downtown Disney, it was easy access to the interstates. The hotel was clean and the rooms were modern with top brand toiletries, a great view and large flat screen TV. The pool was wonderful. Lots of deck chairs with pool towels at the chairs. Fountains in the pool. My daughter had a wonderful time in the water. Would consider the hotel again, but would also weigh in the Resort and parking fees next time.

This was our third stay this year for getaway weekends at Maingate Lakeside Resort. Counter staff was reserved but friendly. We chose this hotel for it's close proximity to Disney World for which we have annual passes. Value for the money at MLR is very good, we booked through priceline.com again. We had a second floor end room in one of the outer buildings, we didn't need pool or lake view and the room was clean but we did have small bugs on the tile floor and along with vanity mirror, possibly small sugar ants. Not an issue that would prevent us from staying here again. Breakfast buffet was adequate but no spectacular and there were only two people on dining room staff so we had to wait for our check. Not thrilled at the "mandatory" hotel fee charged at checkout but for two nights wasn't a deterrent from booking a room here.

The hotel was great however agoda customer service was terrible as I found a lower price and they would not provide their price match guarantee despite numerous screen shots and the room being the exact same. In the end they told me the room was not the same as the room I booked through them was a city view and the room I sent them also said city view but the description said view of lake buena vista. Yes lake buena vista is the CITY! Terrible. Won't use them again.

the hotel was extremely great. it was actually a resort, which includes swimming pools, a couple of fine restaurants, and some bar/grills. it was very nice to spend your holiday with hilton bonnet creek. they also provide shuttle service go back and forth between the resort and the disneyland. there are also taxis in front of the gate of resorts, which you can take them to universal studios or airport, and it is always the flat rate, which are reasonable. also, there is an outlet nearby the downtown disney, which is close to the resort as well. very good location overally.

Very few negative comments aboit our stay. Some revoews were so-so from others but we had no issues at all. They will try to sell you a time share at check-in but all you need to do is politely decline. Check-in was under 5 minutes. Room was as per website. Everything was perfect. Negative comments are very very minor: the clothes dryer took a little longer to dry, the second bedroom faces the corridor and a bit noisy for that reason. But really we had two kids so we were probably making just as much noise. Pools were fantastic. We only did the one with the waterslide. They are strict on minimum height to do the slide but no big deal. Water is heated which is a bonus. We did the miniputt which could use a refresher but for young kids it was a blast! Will stay again in the future. Close to Disney, Walmart, and tons of restaurants. Free shuttle has limited offerings so we ended up driving to Disney each day. Free shuttle would have worked well if we did Universal.

We knew we were going to Epcot center, so it was an easy decision to choose the Dolphin resort with its free access by boat to Epcot and leaving the car in the resort parking saved us parking fees as well. Win-Win. The best was its pools and man-made beach areas to relax and unwind from the madness of the theme parks. There is a large waterfall with a cooling grotto and the beach was hardly used by anyone at all. We both fell asleep in the shade of palm trees after our red-eye flight. The rooms are very spacious, but sadly no coffee maker, microwave, etc to complete the resort experience. Resort fee is unreasonable considering it does not cover parking. This may be a Disney property, but it was not over-run by screaming kids and large families. Very pleasant choice.

We stayed here so we could easily access the Disney parks and shop during our vacation. The location was great - 15 minutes drive from all Disney parks and Universal Studios, less than 10 minutes from Disney Springs and SeaWorld and less than 5 minutes from the outlet mall (you could walk). There was enough parking on site which was part of the resort cost. The pools and gardens were beautifully maintained and the room was large and had everything we needed. There is an option to cook with a fully functioning kitchen. The bathroom was great with a big bathtub. The room has a large king bed in the bedroom and a pull out couch which turns into a queen bed. Both beds are comfortable. Outside our room was a laundry - free to use! The staff were friendly and beyond helpful and even though the rooms are not serviced daily they knock on the door each day and offer towels and products (laundry powder, toiletries etc). I would definitely stay again!

I was in Orlando for a wedding so I only stayed for a weekend, but I had a lovely time at the Hilton Buena Vista. The room was comfortable and clean. There were some cool treats like free DVDs and the pool was open late which was nice. I also enjoyed the drink tickets they gave me when I checked in for coffee or water which was a nice surprise. The hotel is across the street from Downtown Disney so you don't have to get in your car to grab dinner. We strolled to nearby restaurants with ease. You are walking distance from Pleasure Island as well. We were not traveling with kids so we were pleased to find restaurants with adult atmosphere. I loved Bongos in Pleasure Island in particular. The pool area is nice but not out of this world. Room Service burgers and fries were surprisingly good too. If you are looking for an affordable hotel and don't need a lot of bells and whistles, this is a solid choice.

For the most part the hotel was decent. I had asked for a high floor and was put on the 2nd looking out at the roof access so that was a bummer. Busses were the biggest disappointment. I stayed here because I didn’t want to take the ferry nor tram to Magic Kingdom and had to anyway because the busses for the property drop you off at a parking lot that’s near the actual parking lot vs where actual Disney property busses drop at the park. Also there is zero protection from the elements, no coverings at any of the parks so basically you given second rate bus transportation vs staying at the actual Disney hotels. Learned a lesson there. Busses also were about 30 min apart. Hotel staff was nice and you get free movies, parking is ridiculously expensive.

Pool was crowded and noisy which would have been ok if my grandson was younger (he is 14) Apartment was spacious but carpets were dirty ( I wear socks in the house and it showed up on them ) They should have a tower that is geared more to older people and designate a pool for the older crowd as well ... Location was perfect and accessible to all Disney attractions.

This is a great place to stay if you have young children. It's been recently renovated and while there were some small annoyances (bathroom faucet aerator needed changing, and carts rolling thru halls were noisy), they were nothing compared to the fun you will have. There are two pools. One is a large lagoon like pool with a big rock/waterfall feature and a zero entry water play ground. There two areas with steps for kids to play or adults to sit and they are spacious. The deepest water depth is approx 1 M. The other pool is an adult pool with no water features and it's deeper. There is a spa, but we didn't use it. There were plenty of chaise lounges and also some cabanas for rent. Additionally, there was a vendor with inflated pool toys for sale/rent. There is a full bar and some food service. We ate at the restaurant and it was surprisingly good. The hotel has bus service to Disney parks which is very convenient. Disney Springs (formerly Downtown Disney) is a short walk and there are plenty of restaurants and shops and even a few small rides for the kids. If you're going to be doing the parks and don't want a pool, stay somewhere else/cheaper. Our stay was for three days, Fri to Sun. We spent Fri at the Magic Kingdom and Sat/Sun at the pool. It was a great mini-vacay! The kids want to move here.

great room size. it even had a separate sink just outside of the bathroom so i could prepare while the bathroom was occupied. great location for disney boardwalk, hollywood studio and epcot center liked the buffet at the garden restaurant inside the hotel. roads are big and wide here in lake buena vista, so even if it seems near in the map, when you're travelling with small kids or senior citizens, everything is energy draining and too far away to walk. so having the ferry to the parks is a good thing and the waiting stands are near the hotel n parks.

Very good, you can catch the bus to many major areas including Disney downton, Downtown Orlando, and other theme parks. Free internet, clean rooms, nice staff. One staff member did tell me the wrong information about shuttle bus to the airport i.e. you dont have to book as it is always outside, when she was talking about the car service that would take you anywhere you ask. A/C is also very loud.

We enjoyed staying here, for the most part. Our room was huge and very well priced. It was the cheapest 2 bedroom suite we found near Disney. Loved having the kitchen. The only issue was that we didn’t have a car, and it was difficult to get around to the parks and such. The shuttle service was laughable. We wrongfully assumed they would have shuttles running to the parks every 15 minutes or so, like other resorts. It’s more like every 1.5 hours, if that. One day we wanted to go to Disney Springs, but the shuttle didn’t start until 5:30pm. And it costs $8/person. We ended up having to take Uber everywhere, which was expensive. Probably would’ve just rented a car had we known the shuttle was so unreliable. Also the food at the resort wasn’t great, but we only had a few meals there so oh well. We had groceries delivered which worked out well. Overall, though, the pools were amazing, our room was near perfect, and the grounds are gorgeous. We loved feeding the koi fish!

I would have given this 5 stars if you could walk to anything from the hotel, but it tucked away in a quiet location. We stayed at 2 Hiltons on this trip, this one and the Palace ( a "full service Hilton). If your driving the Parc Solie has FREE parking, a parking garage in the building. Hilton Palace charges $18 to $26 a night to park depending of you valet or not. And the parking is not convenient, its a good trek away. They do however offer a free shuttle to Disney and Parc Solie does not.

This hotel was conveniently located on Irlo Bronson which is packed full of restaurants stores and convenience stores and supermarkets. We were only about 15 minutes away from Disney Springs where we spent New Year's Eve and it was wonderful after being out until 2:30 in the morning being able to quickly drive back to our hotel. Our room was cozy and clean and perfect for our needs. There was a refrigerator in a Room so we did get some basic breakfast supplies to have in the room while we got ready before we went out to eat lunch. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We were allowed a late check out due to New Year's Eve the night before period. There is free coffee in the morning at the lobby. There is a Perkins within walking distance and you get 10% off if you mention you are guest of the hotel.
