Da wir sehr spät anreisten, waren wir sehr skeptisch, dieses Resort im Dunkeln zu finden. Kurz hinter Prasat war an der Hauptstrasse das Resort sehr gut ausgeschildert, so das Skepsis unbegruendet war. Sehr herzlicher Empfang durch Eigentuemer und auf unseren Wunsch, wurde für uns noch was gekocht. Eine wirklich sehr schoene Oase in der Gegend von Surin , das beste was wir je gesehen haben. Hervorzuheben Pool und auch Kinderpool. Sehr gutes europäisches und thai Frühstück. Speisekarte sehr gut und es schmeckt auch sehr vorzueglich. Publikum ist international Nordamerika, Skandinavien, Schweiz und auch dort wohnhafte Ausländer - wir hatten viel Spass.

Angenehmes Guesthouse”
Ganz ok haben den Nachmittag genutzt um am Pool zu entspannen.Zimmer sind ok,jedoch eher Guesthouse-Standart als Hotel. Zimmer sind sauber jedoch einfache Einrichtung.In einer ruhigen Gegend gelegen was auch notwendig ist da Fenster und Türen nicht dicht. Im Vergleich zu anderen Hotels scheint es günstig jedoch da kein Frühstück inklusive und am Standart vergleicht ist der Preisvorteil wieder hin.Wie gesagt sehr gutes Guesthouse für die Durchreise.Eigentümer sind sehr freundlich und nett man kann sich gut mit ihnen unterhalten

Sehr aufmerksames Personal und sehr nette Besitzer. Schöne Anlage und sehr gutes Essen, nicht nur das Thaifood. Am Wochenende gibt es sehr gute Pizza aus dem Holzofen. Wir waren sehr zufrieden.

Zimmer waren sauber und zweckmässig eingerichtet. Der kleine Pool ist nach einem Tag in der Pampa bei der Familie super. Essen im Restaurant sehr lecker aber der Preis ist noch OK.

I regularly stay here when passing through this part of surin. Simple but comfortable accommodation and a fantastic bar and eating area which a wide range of excellent western and Thai food. Oh and a pizza oven. Gary and his wife Nok are super hosts.

Ryan's Resort is a great place to spend a few days. The restaurant on site as good food and daily specials. Ryan and Nok are so welcoming and friendly. Cool expats visit the bar/restaurant. Would highly recommend.

Though it locates in rural Isan, this hotel is built so accessible for wheelchair users. The owner is really considerate to travellers with different needs. Great job.

Good resort but .....”
Upon our arrival the resort was closed. Two ladies on the staff didn't want to open us and didn't understand and didn't speak English. After several calls we were able to speak to the owner and they let us in. They asked us if we wanted to eat (it was 18.30). It took 30 ' to understand each other and we ordered dinner on the phone (we did not understand to whom, but we were told that dinner would arrive after 10'). At 8.30 pm no one had arrived yet and we went to sleep on an empty stomach. The owner was in the resort the next morning but he didn't show up and apologize. We understand his situation (the previous day he was at a funeral of a family member) but .....

So good that I extended my stay”
I enjoyed my time here so much that I extended my stay. It was difficult to leave, as everyone made me feel so comfortable. A big thank you to Gary, Nok and the staff. Highly recommended to anyone thinking of staying in Surin.

An oasis off the beaten track”
After a long drive from Bkk, I was warmly welcomed and felt comfortable. Everyone went out of their way to ensure that everything I needed was taken care of. A level of service beyond many more expensive hotels. The room was nice with good air con and wifi. The food was excellent, both Thai and Western. The pizza was great. The salt water pool was very refreshing. A friendly bunch of ex-pats regularly drop by for a drink and chat. The resort is great for a fantastic stay in the countryside and highly recommended.

Absolutely a hidden gem in surin! ”
Gary and Nok both care for there costumers more than I have experienced before, if you show respect and are grateful, you are like a family. Good pool. Mosquitos are as few as there is problems here, none. I normally do not leave reviews, well mostly if am not happy with the service or anything that needs to be lifted for future costumers. Anyhow.. Do not miss out on this place if you are in surin.. An extra 15min ride is worth it.. And the food is cheap and they do fill the plates with enough food for 2 ppl. And the pizza is the best i have had in a LONG time if maybe even the best one.. Quality ingredients and Gary is a master at making it, the oven is his baby! And this is now our nr1 choice when ever close to Surin! My 1 day stay is now at least a 2 week vacation with my wife and her family. cockroaches in the bathroom and very hard bed.”
the good... the room is clean and there are good facilities in the room like the safe, etc. I didn't use the pool but looked nice. the bad... 4 cockroaches in the bathroom!! the bedding was really random - not matching and something out of your nans spare room. And bed was ridiculously hard... the worst night sleep I have ever had... but the resort itself looked nice.... but please fix the bed situation.

Fabulous location ,close to Cambodian border , In Authentic Thai countryside , Perfect mix for Thai / Foreign tourist Guests , Warm welcome , High level of hospitality , Great food . A stop never to miss . Highly recommend to any weary traveller .
