Stunning views”
We were amazed and delighted at the stunning views at this motel - just gorgeous! A very quick walk down to the city hub with restaurants and shops and we also took part in the nearby frisbee golf course - lots of fun! The motel had a BBQ and outside eating area as well as a hot spa which overlooked the whole city and mountains - a fabulous evening dip. Would highly recommend and definitely stay here again!

Excellent motel, facing the lake with shared verandah to enjoy the view with a cup of tea of coffee. As for location, you need to walk abit for food, but if you have a car, this is not problem. The town is within minutes drive away. Excellent staff who recommended places and things to do during rain. Very spacious room with separate bath and separate toilet.

We enjoyed a very comfortable night at Lakeview, with superb views over the lake, easy walking distance to town and friendly and welcoming staff. Would highly recommend.

Incredible views”
Beautiful lake views. We booked a studio apartment and loved the seating areas overlooking the lake. Less than 10 min to walk to town via steps. Great food places in town to try out. Walk around to wanaka tree is beautiful too.

Lovely view and within walking distance to town. We only stayed one night but received a friendly welcome and the studio unit was clean and had everything we needed.

We returned here after a trip earlier in the year. We love this place, we travel as couple and brother/brother-in-law and the room for three, with the little loft for one person is an ideal. beautiful views, handy to town, kind helpful staff. My only suggestion is that it would be useful to have more than the strict 'one of every item' for plates and cutlery. a few extra utensils would be useful plus a couple more bowls/storage items. But a fabulous place, we loved that you had frisbees we could use for the course across the road. Thanks everyone!

The motel was just what we needed and had the most perfect view over the lake and Wanaka. Would definitely recommend and stay there again.

You cannot leave the window open for airing as all insects are flying into your room. Balcony wasn’t cleaned on our stay. Suggest to keep balcony clean as people come here for your highlight - lake view. A cosy and lovely place, highly recommend to everyone who visits Wanaka.

Clean, tidy and easygoing”
The room was very clean and had everything you needed. No nonsense type place which I prefer. Rhe lady who checked me in was really polite and helpful and gave me the info about where to find more info on the place e.g. wifi password. The room was big enough for 2. Rhe bathroom was big and there was soap and bodywash. The towels were super clean, I didn't encouter any stains or fraying on anything. Some of the tiling seemed dated but it added character and nothing was broken. Loved the film channel for my Monday night stay.

I arrived about 6pm so had a sign on the door to say which room I was in. Didn't see the manager at any stage but that was OK. Very reasonable rate for Wanaka at this time of the year.

Great view over Lake Wanaka and some of town. Tv, hairdryer and kitchenette. Bathroom could have done with an extractor fan but shower was nice and hot. Bed was comfortable, extra pillows in the cupboard. I arrived late and checked out early so didn’t see anyone but there was a note left for us explaining everything- thank you. We weren’t really there long enough but it was a nice place to stay.
