Motel that's more than a Hotel”

Private, quiet and walking distance to town centre. Appreciated the full facilities in the studio apartment especially washing machine and tumble dryer. Kitchen is fully equipped with cooking facilities, utensils, cutlery, all the works! Apartment is spacious and clean. Would return to stay here.

5 of us stayed here while traveling around NZ. The property we had surpassed all expectations and the staff went so far out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Can't recomend this place enough.

Well located”

We had a lovely large self contained room with a fantastic view of the mountains and facing a lovely stream and grassed area. The hotel is a 2 minute walk to the main street of town where we had a wonderful Indian meal. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Well appointed room, with a nice outlook on the grass and creek. Just a couple of mins walk to supermarket and restaurants and cafes. Everything was very clean and convenient. John the manager looked after us well

Cannot be better”

We could feel the Host Caroline and Tom has put a lot of effort and care in running the apartment, not only the warmly welcome from them when we arrived, they also make sure the bedding suit us as we wanted. The fresh towels were nicely folded into swans cuddling shape on bed, cup coster on each armchair, etc. all added to make this place soooo cosy and warmth. Mountains view from balcony, with the running stream with ducks sun bathing on the lawn in front of us, such a beautiful picture !! We even managed to catch the sunset right in front of us by just relaxing on our balcony. They even let us leave our luggages in their office after we checked out, so we can go to lake cruise without taking all the luggages with us. Location is great, walking distance to everything, but away from the crowd. There's so much to do and see around the area, next time I'll stay for a bit longer time and I won't even think of anywhere else except Clearbrook

Good location to cafes/restaurants, shopping, supermarket & the lake Lots of amenities for relaxation if you don't intend to head out, e.g. spa, kitchen to whip up a meal Free parking space if you rent a car Quiet area as the motel is situated away from the main road but still reachable to town by foot in less than 7 minutes Hospitable staffs as they attend to your needs I arrived before the stated check in time and the owner allowed me to check in early

We booked this hotel on Dec 2015, we booked 2 rooms apartment. This hotel look tired and need refurbishment, with this price we even can get better hotel near the lake. 10 minutes walking distance to lake and there is nothing much around this hotel, its just a very basics hotel with about 20 rooms.
