Loved it although it was low season and not many people”
Had an amazing stay there although i only met 2 other people during my entire stay. The hostel was very quiet buy loved staying there. Location it's quite good, their rooftop it's amazing with pool and a free beer everyday. Beds with courtains which is always good. Big and clean bathrooms. Breakfast its simple but good. You can choose one item from the menu (pancakes, toasts, crepes) and with coffee or tea. I had strawberry pancakes and i really liked it. But the best part I would have to say is the staff. They are sooo nice and are really interested in knowing you better and always tried to give me the best tips, in and out Da Nang. A nice memory from this hostel it's gotta be me and one guy from the staff playing pool one night, as there was no one else there. Loved it. Don't hesitate even if its low season, but dont expect a party hostel during this time

Perfect Stay”
They have a friendly staff and a cute dog. This hostel is adjacent to all the tourist spots in Da Nang..45 minutes drive going to Ba Na Hills. They also have a rooftop bar to chill with other guests. Everything is great. The room is clean. They need to check their aircondition though. Overall we had a blast.

I stayed in the private room up stairs with nothing but good things to say about this hostel most friendly staff so friendly I had to fly out of Danang and came a night early back from Hoi An just to say goodbye to everyone they treat u like u are family an awesome place to stay and the other guest from around the world some I’m sure I will be friends with for the rest of my life cheers great place to stay

Homely, friendly. Everyone with a nice smile which gives you a positive energy. So helpful with everything. No need to think twice about my stay at Danang Backpackers for next time. They offer every sevice that you need. Pub crawl is awesome and food tour is the one that you can not miss. Golden bridge tour is highly recommended!

Familiar - Pleasant ”
This was a great place to stay for our first couple nights in Vietnam. After a taxi ride we realized a lot less people speak English compared to Thailand! Happy to stay here and enjoy some outstanding hospitality! Great location, walkable to all the best food!!

RUDE COLOMBIAN GUY ”
Local staff was great. They are friendly and informative. However, this Colombian guy who do volunteer in the hostel was so "RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL". This is not my first time to travel and FYI at my young age (I'm 27) I've been to 31 countries and counting for him to know. The experienced with this guy was traumatic. Roaming around the city is possible to do DIY, however when I got to Da Nang the weather is not good. I asked the local staff if they offer tour packages. Luckily they have packages to the place that I wanted to visit. Since I am working in marketing company. I tested their marketing strategy (yes I always do this) on how they can convince me. So I started asking what are the cheapest option to go to that place by myself. The local staff answered all my questions. Then suddenly this Colombian guy make unprofessional gestures and statements. He is not professional in handling small issues and put into shame.

I travelled solo; therefore, I was looking for a hostel with a great location where places are reachable. My reservation is one double bedroom. Luckily, I was upgraded to a triple bedroom (1 double and 1 single for 3 persons). Perhaps the bigger, the better, although sort of too big for 1 person. :) The room I stayed is very spacious, the bathroom has a bathroom. One thing that I didn't like in this bedroom is the light in the bathroom which was too dark. Had to use the adjacent shared bathroom to be able to see my face in a mirror. The breakfast here is also good with enough choices for several days. You also get one free beer from 7-9 PM. :) The guy who took care of me was a university student working here part-time, Ang. He was very friendly and provided me a great service. One thing that could be improved regarding this hostel is its conditions which are a bit run down and cleanliness that can really help to make this hostel even better. Overall, I would recommend this hostel!

They had helped arrange tour package for my stay there. Most places visited were beautiful and interesting. But the tour schedule and package with some last minute changed that caused some disappointments. The moved out time especially not proper arranged. Caused me to missed their nice breakfast some days. Overall I am quite satisfied with their helpful attitudes toward settlement the issues. I will definitely stay in this hotel again.

The location of the hostel is very good. The rooms are alright, the beds are quite hard but it's very often like that in Vietnam. the bathrooms were clean. The staff is very friendly and always try to help. Breakfast is quite small though and they were missing a few things that were in the menu.

I booked a room which included breakfast. The location is good. Having an entertainment room to make friends. However, I was disappointed by a shared restroom, the public restroom is outside the room and have only a light bulb. I scared the restroom and it make me feeling that i am in a horror film

Improve cleanliness more.. Room looks like undergoing repair.. Staff were accommodating.. Only issue found was our reservation room was like still occupied, so the tendency was we change rooms every night, which is kind of a hassle on our part since were always packinh our things and carrying our luggages.. Food was good..

I was extremely disappointed with this place. It makes me wonder why it got such good reviews. The only thing this hostel has going for them is the friendly staff. Upon arrival they noticed my injury and called the hospital and booked a grab for me. When I layed down on my bunk, within 10 mins a huge bed bug was crawling towards my head. Moved to the next bead, as I was checking it I found another big one. Told the people in the room and another one was found all within 25 minutes of arriving. I told the person at the front desk and he said immediately "i have never seen before". Moved me to another dorm. The room was stuffy with no fan and smelled like mold. Checked the bed, nothing to be seen but the layer of grim on the floor in between the bed and wall. My mattress in both rooms were cover in plastic, extremely uncomfortable, and my pillow was like a sack of potatoes. The bathrooms seemed to be cleaner the rest of the hostel. Had toilet paper and no hair in drain. They have a policy that you cant cancel your booking, or you have to tell them 2 days in advance. But they returned my funds for the 2 nights i had already paid in cash. The people that work there helped me get all my stuff to the Grab they called for me and were very nice. I would never reccomend this place, unless you are ok with bed bugs and a little bit a grime. There are better places out there for the same price!

Cockroaches in our bed ”
Our first impressions of the hostel wasn’t great, it didn’t look clean. We booked a double room and we noticed that the door looked like it had been broken into, cockroaches all in our bed and dirty sheets with hairs from previous people on them!! We had to use our sleeping bag liners and I noticed at the airport I opened my bag and a cockroach had gotten in and decided to stay:( good location, nice helpful staff and a really lovely dog and turtle were the good parts!
