Exceptional experience for a hostel”
I went with my colleague for a short getaway after flying in Sabah for some work, stayed at the bunker bed private room for 2 nights Rooms are tighter since its hostel, but it also mean you can get closer to your friend or colleague, unless you hate your companion, its good. The hostel also have clean and comfortable room, clean toilet and you can take a good shower after a long day out to the island Walls are thinner but they do provide wall plug. Neighbours are silent and quiet so no problem on that. You can slightly hear it when it started raining heavily, and it gets very cozy from there. Even after checking out, you can have your belongings in the locker and safely go out to island hopping for the last day, and come back to shower comfortably before departing to take flight. Very friendly staff and good security as well because only guest can access the hostel. Not to mention its very near and accessible to everywhere. The owner happened to be there as well which was very accomodating. Started showing me around different type of rooms so that I could try out other room types in near future. Will definitely be back!

Strategic location and comfy stay”
Location - 5 stars It’s near to the jetty and has access to a lot of shops and restaurants. Cleanliness- 5 stars The room are clean and the lobby as well. Hospitality- 5 stars The staffs are friendly, some more they are warmth and greet us like there is our home. Here will be my stay for my next visit as well.

Super please with the room. ”
I was anticipated my stay at CBS for 3 nights. And I was not disappointed. I chose a seaview row with a pleasant balcony and coffee table in it. There was hanging rails at the balcony too. Which I can dry my swimming costume after snorkeling. I love the sun rise that can be seen at my balcony too. The famous seafood restaurant at Semporna just next door. Friendly staff always around the corner. The only down side is the water volumn is very small. But this can overlook.

Super Clean and Strategic Location!”
Stayed there for 2 nights prior to our island stay. Very clean, great locations and it is within walking distances to eateries, seafeast. Great ocean view to the boating activities. Highly recomended and would stay here again for our upcoming trips.

The receptionist willing to wait till I check in at 12.30am. Always trying to accommodate to what their customers need. Good breakfast and clean toilet. The seaview in male dormitory is just so wonderful. I was lucky to have 20bed dormitory all to myself😀

The hostel is clean, toilet well maintained, perfect seaview in male dormitory, value for every single penny u pay. The breakfast are delicious! The receptionist are all helpful. Even equipped with basic first aid kit and u can use it if u need it.👍

Excellent place for short stay”
Clean room with well functioning facilities. Good room service as well. Superb location where you can get food just beside the hostel. And it is located at the pick-up/drop-off area for island hoping. But the noise cancellation is poor. I can hear the next door loud and clear. Suggest to bring your earplugs. Also, need mosquitoes repellent because the area is full of mosquitoes.

Stayed in a twin room. Location was very close to jetty and just beside Fat Mom's seafood restaurant. Room and toilet were clean. Definitely would choose here again in the future.

We stayed here for a night and it was great for night. Pros: - Clean - Right in the heart of Semporna, conveniently located near eateries - Spacious - Value for money Cons: - Water pressure was terrible - No lift so it could be a challenge especially for those with mobility issues or large - Could be noisy but they do provide earplugs They also provide airport transfers from Tawau for an additional charge so it was great and convenient as we landed in the evening.

Good location, good quality but pricy for private room”
We enjoyed the time there. Had a private room. Got an upgrade from queen to king size. Everything new, in good shape and clean. Staff is really friendly and helpful. Strange that you have to clean up your dishes even if private room. So if you book it as hostel, quite ok, else too pricy. But location quite good and everything new which is quite important!
