Will Come Back Again”

Overall, our stay at the crown regency residences is good. For the money, I would recommend this hotel. Not very fancy but you have a very decent place to stay. Plus the breakfast is very good, which was, by the way, included with the price. Huge and clean room and very good service. Great location is also a plus.

Exceptional”

They have the best customer service. We have booked for a Standard Room but when we arrived at the hotel they were already fully booked. They were very accommodating and upgraded us to Presidential Suite. Kudos to Crown Regency staff and management.

Could be better”

I stayed here on my first trip to the Philippines before I knew to look for a resort rather than a hotel. Hotel is a good match for the photos on Agoda but you can't really see how small the pool is, it is okay for a cool-off but not big enough for serious swimming. The view from my room was very disappointing, I was on the floor above reception and the windows were high up, I had to stand on a chair to look out, and they had bars, which is good to deter burglars but not really much use if you want to watch the world go by. One of the floor tiles also had a huge crack in it. Half way through each week there the hotel was inundated with students on some sort of travel experience and I discovered that this is a very regular thing. It wasn't a problem as such, but they did monoplise the pool when they were there. The area around the hotel is quite run-down, but there is a local market and plenty of street vendors. If you have to stay in Cebu City then you could do worse.

Best Value in Cebu City”

I enjoyed every part of my stay. The room (101) was very comfortable and the wifi was great. I enjoyed a message (soft) that the hotel front desk set up for me that was excellent. I took both my dinner and breakfast in the hotel's restaurant. The manager (Joseph) came over where I was sitting during breakfast just to check to see if everything was going ok with my stay. The employees were always smiling and once I heard the voice of an angel singing that was (Abby). My only regret is that I had to depart so soon. I will book there the next time I return to Cebu!

Nice Hotel”

I like the Crown Regency Residences hotel and it is a quiet place and the staff there is nice as well. I will visit there again...

One of the friendliest places I have ever stayed!”

I enjoyed everything about my stay except that the bed was too small for me. Being six foot two inches tall I have begin to accept this when I travel to Asia. The hotel staff went out of their way to make my stay enjoyable and I will highly recommend this hotel to my friends. By the time that my stay ended I think everyone in the hotel new me by name and this really made me feel at home! I will be staying here again the next time I travel to Cebu. I already miss this place!

Save for the lack of a great view...”

Maybe it has something to do with the hotel layout, which was sprawling rather than vertical, or the room assigned to us, which was on the ground floor. But the lack of a view, the window outside our room only had the concrete fence and TV antennas visible, greatly weighed down my experience, and made me feel it was not worth the price. (The wifi issue can be solved by doing it in the lobby, which was a little cramped.) But unless you are placed in the upper floors, you will have to bear and grin with the lack of it. Otherwise, it was a pleasant experience: Courteous, accommodating staff. Great, elevated beds (although not friendly for very young kids). Accessibility to major Cebu City destinations. The most convenient Foodah supermart.

Very Relaxing”

Being in a long flight coming to this place was a perfect not only that you feel welcome when you walked in and helped when needed they are so friendly and the welcoming smile ease up your day a lot . Thank you for making my vacation here in Cebu so enjoyable . See you all again on my next vacation here in Pinas.

great location”

I only had two nights stay here but it was worth the while. I like the fact that it is located at the heart of Cebu near to shopping malls, bank atms, access to transport, etc. Rooms are clean and food is great! I'll definitely stay here again should I have the chance to come back to Cebu.

Weekend”

The hotel itself is fine until you compare it to its sister hotel Crown Recency Towers. It would not be unrealistic to expect the same room quality in hotels from the same group. Our room was uninspiring and outdated, inefficient plumbing and an antique aircon, the best thing in the room was the comfortable bed. The best thing this hotel could do would be modernise. One word of warning to potential guests is that this hotel has an annex which does not look at all desirable In summary, this hotel is OK for the money however I would not stay again, there are better options within this price bracket

Unique”

I would suggest that the hotel isolate a protion of the hotel for regular guest to distinguish from the students who obvious are proned to damaging property. Regular guest should have rooms to match the rest of the hotel which is beautiful and interesting. I will come back to this hotel and I might add that the restaurant food and staff were excellent.

The Hotel is Okay But the staff ......”

The Guard in the Garrage is not friendly...not assisting the guest well... The Hotel is nice but the staff need to train how to organize or treat guest...a lot of people in the fron desk but only 2 or 3 person only are helping...the hotel staff need to be seminar again...And they are all not accomadating even the manager in front of desk... Our check in time is 2:00pm and the room are still not ready...they said sorry sir cause there's a lot of customer..If this is there reason maybe need to change the check in time to 3:00pm...Staff are not friendly...when the customer or client need attention they get angry... Sorry guys but this is my impression to your staff....We are from singapore and we are expecting good treatment from the name "CROWN REGENCY" you guys are well known international for a Good hotel and staff...but this branch failed to met my expectation... Hope you can improve your staff attitudes and ways... thanks.

quiet place”

good to stay. beds are so big that it can accomodate up to 3persons. great swimming pool and dining area.. but not that near to the touristscspots in cebu city.

Hotel in Town”

The hotel is in a busy part of the city but once you enter the grounds you wouldn't know it. It is convenient to almost anywhere by taxi and taxis are quite reasonable. Security is good. Swimming pool is nice and with adjacent spa. Outside there are several shops and sidewalk cafes that looked inviting. Neighborhood appeared safe.

Sinulog 2017 visit”

Since cebu city was packed with tourist, this hotel was full as well. Nothing exceptional with the hotel. All I can say is its old and not value for your money.

Excellent service”

unfortunately even good service cant cover up the poor state of the hotel itself. The lack of hot water was just unbearable so my wife and I eventually moved to the Crown Tower instead.

Just. Don't.”

I booked in this hotel by mistake - I was in a hurry was fooled by the "85% discount today!" tag and deceiving room picture. I thought I was staying in the Crown Regency Tower... until I got to the reception and was told I was in CR Residences, in an out-of-the-way suburb 15 minutes away from the city center. Hotel is very run down. Rooms are extremely basic, more like dorms (all rooms have 2 double beds or more). I was sharing the bathroom sink with the biggest cockroach I have ever seen (we got on fine though). The bar doesn't serve anything but sodas and beer. Reception doesn't provide any service either. Breakfast is slow (and not included). The whole place seems chronically understaffed - after I asked for a room upgrade, I had to wait until 5pm for room service to finally clean it. The pool is almost entirely covered - don't think of working on your tan. Gym is small but has what you need for a workout though. An old budget hotel, not a bargain.

Except for the check-in, everything was perfect”

The bed was really soft and everything was clean. The staff in the restaurant was really nice. The only thing I disliked was the check-in because the receptionist just gave us the keys and didn't give any directions to our room (turns out our room was in the annex building which you can access from the second floor and not the third). We also had to go back because the key to one of our rooms was missing. Everything after that was perfect though, so I would still recommend this place overall.

remote location, the facility smell old and dusty”

i thought we were staying in Cebu near the crimson resort but we stayed in a very far and remote area, i used agoda facilities to look for a place to stay near the crimson resort because i have a business deal there but unfortunately they are fully booked for feb 24 so i opt for agoda facility and transferred to crimson the following day
