Good value”

I stayed at the Country Inn & Suites for 10 nights. I have family that lives in the area, whom I visit at least once a year. This is my first time at this property and it pretty much ticked all the boxes. Room 427 was a good size with separate seating area. King bed was comfortable, pillows and linens clean and fresh. Plenty of towels. The TVs were a bit problematic but I wasn’t in the room that much to be bothered. It over looked the pool and the freeway. I wasn’t affected by the freeway as it was just white noise to me. Some may find this noisy tho. Housekeeping was very good and staff friendly. Perfect location for shopping and a variety of restaurants. I didn’t take part in the breakfast provided, but it did smell yummy! Never used the pool but it looked like there was an issue as I watched it turn greener & greener each day. Filter issue? All in all, would stay again and recommend others to stay.

The bathroom was gross had hair all over the sink.”

The beds where comfortable and food was great! The bathroom sinks where nasty and when we told the person at the front desk they didnt seem to care.

Not for business travelers if from overseas”

This is a strange comment, 10/10 if you just want a holiday break. 1/10 if your from overseas, the reason for this comment, Last 4 days of 6, there was no WiFi in hotel, nobody could answer what was the reason or when it would be back, everyday it was “should be sorted later”. They had no idea of the lmportance it holds for overseas guests and how it was a lifeline to stay in touch with the kids at home and run a business on a day to day basis, I could not keep in touch with my Office or see what my clients were looking for unless I walked to nearest mall. It was a nightmare, as I thought I could enjoy my holiday and still keep up to date with kids and clients, instead it caused 4 days of stress and ruined my holiday

Had a great time at Country Inn and Suites Mesa! Rooms were clean and spacious, service was great and location perfect!

Exceptional”

Great breakfast, quiet, nice pool and hot tub, comfy beds and pillows. Need bigger tv’s in the rooms and better shower heads. They did allow us to use the pool before our check in time.

Room was nice but had to call maintenance as locks weren't working and we got locked out of the room. Light switches were missing the covers. Ice machine not working. Had a poolside room was very nice. Front desk guy seemed annoyed by our requests to fix things. Maintenance guy was great when he came to help us.

Questionable Ratings”

We chose this hotel because it was near a family event and the 4.1 out of 5 rating it had on Orbitz. We stayed two nights and there was no house cleaning service even though we requested it. It was OK, but not nearly deserving of a 4 rating. The free breakfast was not worth the bother, we chose not to eat there the 2nd day, the facility is showing a lack of maintenance, and I had to go to three floors to find a working ice machine. The location is convenient, but it next to the freeway and you do hear it. It seems to me that the rating is manipulated as the comments had quite a few 5.0 ratings with no or minimal comments.

Airport shuttle has limited hours”

We booked this hotel because we needed an airport shuttle at 4:30 a.m. Although Margarita at the front desk told us “we were all set” to be shuttled the day of our departure and Tim the driver also assured us he would drive us at 4:30, we almost missed our plane! Tim could not be reached at 4 a.m. and there was no one to drive the van. The regular hours begin at 6 a.m. but these two employees told us otherwise! Confusion? Yes! Drama? Yes! Not easy to get an Uber in such short notice and impossible to get a cab in Mesa. It was a nightmare!! Why would management allow staff to lie?

Bad hotel building”

Good staff. Toilet didn'flush, ac barely worked, pillows suck, and i had an early check in fee after12;00, $200 room for half a day and i coudn't use the bathroom. But again, tbe staff was good. You can only work with what you have

TV ISSUES”

Our TV didn’t work, but maintenance quickly resolved the issue. It seemed the previous guest had connected their game station🙃

Really good, but…”

We kept our Do Not Disturb sign out the entire time but on Wednesday (our 4th day) I asked for more washcloths, and left a tip because everyone knows how hard those people work. The linen is wonderful, however, the washcloths she left are used for rags at my house. They were thin, grayed, nubby, and stained. I don’t complain but will express my opinion when asked.

Great location; very helpful staff”

This is one of the more reasonably priced, decent hotels when can find in the Mesa/Gilbert area (especially if you can a special through a third party). It is near the freeway that provides straight routes to downtown PHX (west) or to the awesome trails of the superstition wilderness (straight east). Free hot breakfast in the morning, 24/7 hot coffee, fridge+microwave, modest gym, heated pool, hot tub, grocery stores nearby in Fry's and Target, and plenty of restaurants nearby (I highly recommend Fito's tacos right across the street for decent street tacos).

Watch out for the entrance light”

The hotel is average which was fine for us. Mediocre breakfast and the cleaning staff was late 2 days after we asked for the cleaning. Biggest issue for us was the odd choice for a motion detector light in the entrance of our room. The light is too strong and will wake up your partner. Use an opaque tape to cover the motion detector should fix this problem.

Dirty bed late check in”

Tried to check into room at 7PM was told room wasn't ready yet at 930PM room was ready. It smelt like dirty feet o pulled the blankets back and there was a perfect butt imprint that was black on the white sheets went to get another room and magically they had one available but the bath tub was half full of water
