Haigh value for money and simple hotel at the heart of El Nido town proper”
My wife and I stayed in El Nido for 6 days. The first 4 days, we spent them in Lagen Island, an exclusive resort where service was superb and the stay was really exceptional. The next 2 days, we wanted to stay in El Nido town proper and decided to book a room in Coral Cliff. All I can say is that in terms of staff and service, the 2 hotels can be compared side by side. The owner have done an excellent job in training their staff! Secondly, the mattress are really comfortable. Lastly, it is near all bars and restaurants in El Nido. I would highly recommended this place for group of friends who want value for money.

Location and Staff were great!”
What I love about this hotel is their breakfast. They have variety of options and their facilities are new. It's located in the town proper of el nido and 2 minutes walk from the port where the boats for the tour are docked. The downside of this hotel is that they don't have an elevator. But the frontdesk was so helpful when we requested for room transfer from 5th floor to 3rd floor. Overall, the stay was great. I'll definitely recommend this hotel. Thank you Coral Cliff staff.

Excellent Hotel”
We had a fantastic stay at Coral Cliff Hotel. The staff are very nice and helpful and the facilities are clean and orderly. Breakfast is good as well, not very much selection but it's worth it. We will surely go back to this hotel next time we visit El Nido. We highly recommend Coral Cliff on your stay in EN.

We will be back”
After staying in other places in El Nido, Coral Cliff have a better bathroom, I wasn't use to washing with cold water or a bucket like the other hotels. The staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was good. They helped us organise all our tours and travel, we didn't have to think or worry about anything. See you next year!

VERY satisfied!”
nakapa honest nila. may naiwan kaming cellphone sa room, di namin namalayan nahulog sa gilid ng kama hanggang sa makauwi kami ng Manila, sobrang nakipag cooperate sila para mapadala ang phone.. aside from that, na upgrade ang room namin without additional charge, so happy!, mababait lahat ng staff, pwede mg-iwan ng baggage sa lobby after check-out.. rooms are big with hot and cold shower, wifi is good, buffet breakfast is great, yung tubig sa shower walang amoy unlike sa ibang hotel na may naamoy ako... thank you soooo much coral cliff!

Exceptional”
I stayed at Coral Cliff for 3 nights. Stayed at Room 201. We were total 11 pax. Unluckily, among all the rooms we accommodated, it was only our room that had no wifi. I had to go down to the lobby to avail of the wifi. Everyday, I requested for wifi connection to no avail. Staffs were all good. Cleanliness was A-ok. Buffet breakfast was good enough.

Amazing stay”
Clean rooms, bright and smelled so clean. The people here are so friendly and willing to help you in any way. We ran out of cash after returning from a tour one day, and needed a tricycle back to our hotel. They paid for it for us and charged it to our room for us. So great. There is also a water cooler on every floor offering cold and hot water which is so convenient if you want to fill your water bottle or if you get thirsty in the middle of the night. Also not too loud at night compared to the busier streets of El Nido proper. 100% recommend.

Hotel is fine but El Nido practically speaking is dirty”
We dont have any issues with the hotel, staffs are great and helpfull, hotel facilities is okay near from everything. BUT the place of El Nido is dirty. We didnt expected that it is the real El nido, we think El Nido is next to rehab and closed by the government. Just saying... Except for the islands it is absolutely perfect and amazing. Still we recommend Coral Cliff hotel..

Great location! ”
Very good location! It's in front of the school and you'll get a very good view of the limestone hill/mountain in front of you. I love the staff. They serve breakfast of your choice. The serving is very generous. Room is ok except for that smell on the bathroom that I don't know where it'a coming from. I'm not sure if it's the water or I don't know. Overall, it's a good choice. Will still be my hotel of choice if I decide to go back to El Nido.

Excellent location”
The location of this hotel was literally at the back of the heart of tourist El Nido. Within a minute you are in the tourist street and cross the street again you're on the beach. All the restaurants, bars, hangouts are there. And if you want to go more authentic go to the right and you're in the more traditional areas. It's close to the other spots as well. as for the facilities, the only thing not working well is the WiFi. only in the hall ways. Breakfast & rooms were perfect!

It was the right choice”
Located close to the main walking street and boat peers. Lots of shops and eateries in the neighborhood. AT the same time, the buffet breakfast was quite good. Tricycles are used to wait near the entry. The receptionists were very kind to book local boat tours for us, and also book a tour to the Underground River integrated with transfer to Puerto Princesa. We recommend this hotel to El Nido explorers!

Exceptional”
Great location! After late check in, we walked around the neighborhood to find a place to dine. There were many good venues that you can choose from at very reasonable price. The staff was very accommodating and very friendly. We were served welcome drink upon arrival then booked our tour for the following day without any hassle. Great customer service. Will stay there again next time we visit El Nido.

Overall positive”
Positive sides: room was clean, air condition was useful, hotel staff was positive and friendly, location was good hotel is in the centre of El Nido near the restaurants. Negative sides: The water in the bathroom smells TERRIBLE, maybe it is not the hotels fault it could be like that in El nido but i think hotel should take precaution about the situation. The breakfast was poor i could only eat fruit.

If you don't mind stairs.....Great location! Friendly staff! 15 minutes from airport! ”
At first glance you wouldn't know but this hotel is close to all the action in El Nido. We booked the 5th floor penthouse room with a view of Bacuit Bay. There are no elevators in this hotel so we told ourselves that it was okay because we were enjoying the food too much in the Philippines and needed the stairs! Pros- breakfast every day (pre-select from a set menu from front desk the day before), close to lots of bars, restaurants, stores and location for start of island tours, clean bedding, nice comfy bed and pillows, running shower. The front desk staff was very helpful with booking tours. We bked a private inland tour and the hotel's driver Raymond took us around in the hotel's nice a/c van for a comfortabale and safe ride- highly recommend! Cons- air conditioning did not circulate well in room, lots of mosquitos in our room (may be due to a hole in the ceiling we didn't notice until our last day), shower door leaked. Nice bedding but a thin sheet would help to keep cool.

Excellent”
El Nido town is undergoing massive changes - the whole town seems like one construction site. When it all settles down, this hotel will have a perfect location, just a 2 minute walk to the port and main restaurant & shopping area. Wonderful staff - especially Arlene, who was a star in helping us arrange our trips. Rooms are fine, although some of the fixtures and fittings are in need of adjustment, but nothing major. Great location, great staff, good value for money

great location”
pros: the bed was soooo comfortable! the room was clean. location is pretty good! about a 5 minute walk to the marina/docks. the breakfast was good with both western and asian choices. and, just a block behind the hotel are tons of places to eat. cons: there is no elevator. for some reason, i didn't realize this and booked a room with 2 beds. upon checkin, it was on the 4th floor. having a recent knee injury, i had to upgrade to a room on the 2nd floor instead. overall, especially considering the upgrade, i feel i overpaid for the area. some of the furniture is very worn. and the water has a horrible smell- but i would imagine that's probably more of an El Nido issue more than a hotel issue.

Convenient location, comfy room (though note construction next door)”
Location is perfect for going around the El Nido town on foot. Restaurants/shops/island tours easily accessible. Good spacious room, though cleanliness can be improved. Breakfast is decent too. There is construction next door, so might be a bit noisy / dusty.

One of better, comfortable, reliable hotels in El Nido”
The hotel is located a road away from the center of town, and very close to the beach. Eateries were in walking distance, corner shops a stone’s throw away. Main road was about a minute walk and the beach 2 minutes. The room was very comfortable. We were 3 adults and an infant and the hotel could easily accommodate the third person on arrival. The bed slept amazing! Cushions were soft and puffy. Only minor issue was that we were on the 4th floor of the hotel, and there’s no elevator. So trekking up and down was a mission - but not impossible. The room has an Aircon which worked wonders, and a ceiling fan which also helped. Room does not have a kettle (but can request one) and no fridge. TV was there with some decent channels. Bring a USB with films if you’re into watching movies late night. There are water coolers on each floor!! (Hot and cold filtered water). Lifesaver!! WiFi at the hotel was pretty good most of the time. Our last day the whole island has an internet issue though. We used SIM cards as backups anyway. Breakfast was basic - filled a gap with some fried eggs and toast. Was happy with that. We could very easily access our day trips... ‘Harbor’ was a 5min walk from the hotel. Only time we needed a tricycle was to and from the airport and once to Las Cabanas. The hotel has a backup generator, but was never needed during our stay. Some construction of other buildings and roads around the hotel, but nothing impacting our stay. Would definitely return to this hotel. The owner was present during our stay. Very hands on and interactive. So much staff around too

Bed Bugs!!!”
My hubby and I are newly weds, our group of family and friends (15 of us) stayed at Coral Cliff for 4 nights. Service, breakfast and location was excellent. Although after leaving the hotel, a group of us, approx 9 of us noticed we had bed bug bites!! My sis inlaw got her clothes laundried from the hotel service and saw a live bed bug crawling out of her freshly laundried clothes :( Everything was excellent but the bedbug infestation needs to be addressed!
