This place is overrated. We wasted 1 hour looking for the place by Waze. Finally got there, it’s a shophouse transformed to cheap inn instead of homestay. Service is absolutely low and not helpful at all. The Aircond is very very noisy and couldn’t sleep due to that. The toilet is blocked and water cannot go out during shower. The room is too small and no space to walk around after we put our luggage hence we have to walk over our luggage. Water dispenser is located at far end. Can hear outside car honking from the room, very noisy. The carpark is not spacious and it’s quite hard to go out as I have to reverse my car in a very busy road. Not comfortable at all. Only good is located near the market. Otherwise this place is not worth it.

Pros: in Ayer Itam walking distance to best asam laksa, morning market buzzed with life from 7am. also close to other attractions like penang hill, kek lok si temple etc. Cons: Location was super hard to find. Waze to Ambank Ayer Itam the hotel will be 2-3 doors away from market. It’s because it’s so new the paint smell is quite overwhelming. Other than that it’s all is good. Michelle and Irene tried their very best to be the best hoSt they possibly can.
