OK considering”
The hotel is OK, as SE Asian 3 stars go, what condemns it, as with everything else in Dumai, is Dumai. It is unremittingly awful, the triumph of the lowest common denominator. Most towns in this region might have grotty areas on the periphery, and a half-decent centre, but Dumai is grotty throughout. The wi-fi in the hotel is as bad as in all other SE Asian 3stars and the staff know nothing about their town but its one saving grace is that it is a few doors along from the ferry company office, making it easier to escape. There is a bus laid on from this office half an hour before the sailing, so you don't need to book the hotel car or (God forbid) a local taxi. I did use the hotel car to drive round the town to buy some bits & pieces, the driver was very helpful and the charge very reasonable.

always problem with the door to open”
each time to open the door its took me 10minits. still okay compare to my mom room there is 1 time really took her & untie 1 hour to open the door! already call the staff & the maintenance. they also took long time to settle it. i do ask other room still hotel said a lot of reason they cant give us other room! thank god all staff very polite & i like them so much. just crazy hotel. near by the hotel have grave. u cant see it from the hotel but if u go all around by walking u will see it. a bit horrow at the night especially when u talk to local bout what happen at night at the hotel.

Reasonable possibly 2nd best in Dumai”
I spent most of the time ouside, so I only sleep at night after hard day work. The noise coming from the club can be annoying if you're a light sleeper. For me is okay as was dammed tired after long trip. Moreover my room is the 2nd floor so the noise isn't that bad. Breakfast is simple and nothing that is fantistic the hotel offer.

generally happy with stay. if i have to pick on something - it'll hv to be that some parts of the hotel seem old and.. the aircon in my room wasn't up to my expectation. it was working but couldn't swing. didn't bother me much anyway.

Wifi is extremely poor in the rooms but works well in the lobby. Password is only valid for 12hrs only and has to be replaced. We booked the hotel for 3 nights but you have to extend the key card daily. Towels are very old and dirty.

Strategically located but decent facility”
Stayed two nights. The facility was decent but not bad. The food was really tasteless but fortunately they accept early breakfast. The staffs were nice and supportive. Overall, the price worth the location not the facility.
