Great and Convenient location . Hotel was beautiful with great room also a lovely soaking bath tub especially for after a long day of exploring . In love with the king sized beds and Staff was always there when needed . I will definitely come back to the Colosseum Cape town .

Very comfortable bed and beautiful room”

Our stay was lovely. When I took my first shower the drain was blocked and I flood the whole room. They solved the problem immediately. The room was beautiful and comfortable and the bed and shower was excellent. Their breakfast buffet however is not as varied as other luxury hotels, but was very tasty. The hotel is also close to everything, so if you are going to travel in Cape Town it is central. Will definitely stay there again.

Luxury Hotel”

Great hotel to stay, it was our last 3 days at Cape town and it made it memorable becos of the hotel. On our last night we told the recept that we need to check out early b4 630am cos our early flight for the next day. He immediately offered to help us order our breakfast and had it sent to my room in early morning. What a great service! The brekafast at the lounge was ok only cos of limited choice, but the service was superb! We ordered food and it was fresh and hot from the kitchen. Hope to stay there again and also its near to the Canal Walk and if you want to attend service, Hillsong church is juz diagonally opposite the hotel. Thankyou for the awesome and memorable stay.

Upgraded”

The Colosseum is a great hotel. This was our third stay and we were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to an amazing penthouse suite. The staff were friendly as always, the food was great, the location is perfect as it is walking distance from the Canal Walk shopping mall.. I would really recommend the Colosseum hotel, because besides the wonderful room they offer Wi-Fi, Satellite television, Secure undercover parking, fantastic coffee in your room, great room service all through the night and awesome views over the city. I will definitely go back again.

Fabulous hotel that is well located”

The hotel is well located close to the main motorways and shopping mall. The views of Cape Town are amazing, especially of Table mountain in the morning and evenings. There is free underground parking which is access controlled and security is visible. The hotel offers a wide variety of breakfast menu to suit every families needs including children.

Lovely weekend stay at the Colosseum”

This Hotel always feel peaceful and quiet, no matter how busy it is. Staff super friendly and helpful. Loved the breakfast. Beds are very comfy - very nice linen and towels. All over a very enjoyable stay. Always my first choice in Cape Town for the great location, excellent service and value for money. Will definitely be back! Comes highly recommended.

Superb location. Liked the spacious rooms and extra long beds! ALL staff, from cleaners and car park security guards to receptionists, managers and waiters all very friendly. Read a few not so good reviews on the breakfeast beforehand but can honestly say it was always very fresh with a good variety and well prepared. We got a last minute discount deal so it was good value for money as well. The room was also very quiet and we never heard neighbours although the hotel was quite busy.

Great hotel for the price”

this is a very nice hotel. spacious, clean and modern rooms very well priced and well located in relation to the biggest mall in cape town. the breakfast was very nice. internet is free but is measured in the amount of kbs used instead of time so if you are a heavy downloader the method in which they divy out their 'free' internet is a bit different. approximately a 10-15 min drive (cost - 140-180 rand)to the waterfront.

Great Hotel/Rooms - Quiet Location - Pleasant Staf”

you can't beat the price of this hotel for what you get. granted the staff is not as attentive as they could be but the area is nice and quiet, a short 5 min walk from the biggest mall in cape town, a nice breakfast, and a modern, clean & spacious room. upon arriving i had to request a porter to assist with my bags, the options on the room service menu is very limited and there is tour desk but the best you can hope for from there are some flyers. all that said, the staff is pleasant for the most part. mr. siya and ms. maggie were stand out performers though. great customer service sklls and very helpful and accommodating.

Kitchen”

The issue I would like to raise is the cleanliness,condition of the kitchen equipment,eg. Pans, spoons, the gas stove are filthy! To light another plate of the gas stove by lighting a paper serviette and using it to get the gas burning is unprofessional.The quality of the bacon,sausages etc. brought in frm the main kitchen are really not 4Star standard.Bread has to be touched by everyone,no towel or similar, before cutting and that is also unhygienic. The omelette we had for breakfast was well prepared, but tasted awful because of the pan and equipment used being filthy dirty. We always stay at the colosseum when we are in cape Town,because otherwise it is a great hotel.

Awesome stay ! will be back”

We have travelled all over the world but this hotel was by far the best value for money. The little sitting area and accommodating our son in his own bed etc was simply great. As well having a small kitchenette meant we could buy food and store and heat as we needed but it still had the great hotel feel of luxury

nice hotel, bad location”

the hotel is too far from the city. i didn't know the geographics of cape town before i got there but staying at this hotel will cost you about 150r each time you want to go to the city. breakfast is too short staffed also. however, friendly and helpful reception staff. don't use the hotel shuttle to airport it's 400r.
