The sheets are clean, no bugs and it was cheap. What more could you possibly want for $42 a night? It’s an old building and honestly needs a renovation, but still fully functional. Everything worked, it’s just..... a bit shabby. But like I said, the sheets are clean, no bugs or mice.... and $42 a night in the off season. Win win win.

This Howard Johnson is located in a very high CRIME AREA. My vehicle was broken into right in front of the hotel ,(Poor security) they have CCT cameras but not working in and around the hotel,I do not Recommend this hotel to anyone, It not worth your money......

The hotel is greeted by the very finest host/manager and his accomodating staff. I can always be assured of a restful quiet night. And to mention it is always very clean. It's a refreshing stay.
That word, adequate, pretty much sums up this location. It was clean, somewhat comfortable, and cheap, but it could have been cheaper for what we got. Nothing about this property knocked it out of the park for me. The breakfast was waffles, cereal, toast or oatmeal. Coffee was terrible. Unless I could get it cheaper, I would not book this property again.

Situated right opposite Wal-Mart's and local restaurants, 20 mins drive to Kenosha made it very convenient for us . This place is a bit tired around the edges and in need of some love. We were there to sleep - which we did well. The staff were great and helpful when we checked in late.
