While on a tour of South Africa, we spend a night at this hotel. We stayed in the honeymoon suite. The staff here were exceptional and the location second to none in Swellendam! The breakfast here is probably the best I've ever had anywhere.

Secure off street parking, spacious Delft room, electric blanket, Etienne is a friendly welcoming host (without being intrusive - I enjoyed our chat about cook books), home feel with Daniel the Labrador (who must be the most well behaved Lab I have ever encounter), breakfast so well plated & delicious, it feels like a fine dining experience.

Absolutely wonderful stay. Small compact self catering unit with the essentials. Loft style with bedroom upstairs. Clean and comfortable bed. Very quiet and peaceful. Wake up to Animals in nearby plot. Heavenly stay.

Can't say enough about how welcome we felt at Wilma & Desmond's guest house. It was a hot day and right away they suggested the salt water pool. They made reservations for us at a local restaurant and their breakfast in the morning was wonderful. The house itself is historic and beautiful. Too bad we could only stay one night.

we enjoyed staying in the house it was clean and comfortable. the owner was very nice to talk to made us feel very welcome and made us a fantastic breakfast which we will remember for along time.The house was furnished in period and very different from the norm.very good

It was nice staying in the lodge. It was well done with a nice bathroom and shower. It's a bit away from the city but only a 5 minute car ride. the host was really friendly and flexible.

Everything was nice, with a big kitchen,a big bathroom and livingroom, but the bed was quite small and Not so comfortable. I also die Not Like the pillow very much but all in all IT was more than okay for what you Pay.
