The location is away from the Capitol and other sites but the savings make it worth the 10-minute drive downtown. If you are going to any event at Lincoln Land College or Lake Springfiled it is a great location
We had reserved one night(Mon) I had thought two nights. Big FFA convention and some bicycle activity so hotel was full. The desk staff said to check with them in the morning. They were still full for Tuesday. The manager said there was a room out of service because of a large soap dish had fallen off. We said we didn’t care but he went ahead and reattached it anyway....
Bathroom door, toilet and tub are very close together. Must close door in order to sit on toilet or get to tub. 😂

The staff here are all very friendly and go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. The inn is clean and comfortable. Their evening happy hour with food was a pleasant surprise. The only thing it lacked was a hot tub. Our kids enjoyed the pool.

Our stay was very comfortable...the hotel is within walking distance to the Lincoln Museum and the trendy night life. The rooms are large, clean and well equipped. The staff are very friendly especially at breakfast (which is great and more than adequate). I can't say enough of the staff who would appear and engage at any time to make sure our stay was happy memory....
The best part of the hotel and the only reason I picked it was for the outdoor pool. It was incredibly refreshing but was in desperate need of a paint job. Inside my room smelled like an ashtray. The bed made me feel less than important. Could you have purchased a cheaper mattress? And BTW when was the last time it was replaced or flipped?
There was only one problem with the room that I experienced. The exhaust fan did not work in the bathroom.
