"the reception at the hotel is not open until 5pm. this was made clear on booking confirmation but not when booking. however, the owner saw us arrive around 4pm and let us in. he was very helpful throughout our stay and spoke excellent english. the hotel abounds with nice decorating touches, antiques being dotted around all over. it is about a 10 min walk to the main part of sete. there was a good traditional french breakfast. anyone driving to sete should know that parking is an issue everywhere there. street parking outside the hotel is possible if a space becomes vacant. however, you wonder how the locals have fitted their cars into some of the spaces, until you realise that they use their car’s bumpers literally. "

"Placed in the heart of town the location couldn't be better, the carpark is an extra charge and a bit difficult to access & the 'blue room' we stayed in was a bit tired & not our favourite, but it was quiet as we faced the courtyard."

"Perfect location at the start of the beaches. The hotel is family run and small giving the personalized touch that can be hard to find. Simple room and bathroom some with great views. We spent two nights here and loved it. The breakfast was great, continental and fresh. Highly recommended for a simple no frills stay. "
