Best hotels & accommodations in San Antonio (TX)

When I first got there, they upgraded me. I was excited the room was beautiful high off the river, great king bed. Well the TV didnt work and the loo was used and not cleaned. I went back to the desk and was given the smallest room they had. And the washroom just the same. I was so disappointed I left the first night crying. It was wasted money. My friend made me go ba...

The location, staff, the venue were perfection. HOWEVER our shower would not drain. The staff fixed it immediately but it was still disappointing because it was ALMOST perfect. I go to San Antonio quite a bit because my son attends Trinity so I'll try it again.

Traveling alone with my son and we were greeted by very friendly staff. My son was in heaven the minute we walked in. The room was very clean, small but expected as the building is older. I had read a lot of reviews and I was scared to book this place because of that. I am HAPPY I didn’t pay attention to that. The bathroom is small BUT clean!! Not sure why their ...

The Crockett Hotel should be the first and last place you check out if coming to San Antonio. Located just two blocks from the Alamo, it could not be better situated. The neighborhood is completely walking-friendly at any time of day or night. I had a small queen room, which was just fine for my purposes on this business trip. The bedroom and bathroom were extremely cl...

The hotel General Manager (Mr. Petrollini) has managed to resolve the confusion with my reservation quickly and effectively and with a very friendly attitude and I had a great feeling about it. The hotel was VERY clean and so were the room and bathroom. A free shuttle was available for a transport anywhere within 5 miles - shopping mall in my case.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff were very pleasant the entire time. The bell boy RJ was superb and very accommodating. There was only a few things that may need to be changed and those are free WiFi for ALL rooms, microwaves and refrigerators need to be inserted in the rooms, other than that you’ll love it here and I’m a hard critic when it comes to r...

Hands down the best hotel experience I’ve ever had. We were greeted by Sarah and Matthew who were some of the kindest souls I have met. They made checking in and unloading a breeze, which is a huge statement because I have two toddlers under 2 y/o. I’ve seen reviews of people complaining about the (optional) $30 daily valet parking, but I would much rather prefer havin...

Clean room ! Comfy bed ! No noise ! Cold a/c Wen i walked in it smelled a bit like wet carpet but it was just a little ! Smell went away .Resturants and fast food near by also walmart is down the st. Will book again when i visit San Antonio. Pool was a bit dirty but its okay.. I rested well thats all that matters to me.

Beware : Customer service service can be poor. I’ll explain : I had booked a room for 3 days but was not able to arrive on the first day as my plane was stuck in Chicago due to poor weather. I sent a message to best western customer service and the hotel management asking if it was possible to refund the first night. I arrived the next day and was told at the reception...

we left an item in the closet, called about item after leaving and call was sent to housekeeping. Nobody answered and we were promised and email back with information of said lost item but email never received. We have called 5 times since July 2019 and nobody can say if our item was ever found and no notes on any of our previous calls. Today we called to check again j...

John went above & beyond! Had a mix up with my room (booked online). In a matter on mins, he moved me to an upgraded room & made sure our stay was all I had expected. We will definitely be staying here again! Thank you John for your 5 star treatment!!

The location is outstanding. It is less than a block away from the river walk and only a block away from the Alamo. The staff were friendly and accommodating. It would have been nice if they had parking, they said there was a public parking lot a block away but you had to pay every time you came and left. The hotel valet service was $29 per day, not including tips. The...

We were their for a couple of nights to take in the river walk and Alamo, this hotel was an ideal base for us as just a hop skip and a jump from the Alamo and very short walk to the river walk. The rooms were comfortable, clean and roomy not that we spent much time there as there is such a lot to see in San Antonio itself. Finished off the evening in the bar with a del...

Overall, the hotel was ok. I had to get the key card reset twice. I extended my stay and was moved to another room. I never got a text to confirm which is what they told me. I also had to move my own things once we got back. I was told the staff was going to do it. If you tell your customer something, it should happen. No excuses

hello i did check in hotel bout 2;30 pm i only saw the lobby lol. unfortunatly i got ill n never went back to hotel .i went to E R . never went back cause i was still very ill .i decided to go back home n rest. i lost my money never slept in room . maybe next time i try again .ty god bless

THE TV'S DID NOT WORK IN ROOM 319. CALLED MANY TIM ES TO GET SOMEONE TO HELP-EVERYONE SAID THEY WOULD BE RIGHT UP BUT NO ONE CAME.-AT 9:30, A MAN CAME TO THE ROOM AND SAID THE TV'S DO NOT WORK-CONNECTED WRONG-!!!!!!! WE MOVED TO ANOTHER ROOM THE NEXT NIGHT AND THAT ROOM WAS FINE. DO NOT STAY IN ROOM 319.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Drury Plaza Hotel on the river walk in San Antonio. It is a beautiful building with lovely large clean rooms. The staff are friendly and helpful, the breakfasts and late afternoon "kickback" food is delicious, and the facilities top notch. The roof top hot tub was my favourite, and my husband enjoyed the gym. I would definitely boo...

it is a wonderful location situated on the san antonio river walk within easy walking distance of the touristy san antonio down town area. you can walk to the alamo and many other attractions. there are literally hundreds of restaurants on the river walk so you are sure to find something you like. on the other hand the westin itself is dated but for the price i paid it...

There was a nice arrival, no delay in service, we asked for first floor and there was no problem, I travel with both my parents, room was clean, nice just how is expected. I use the gym, equipment new and great facility. breakfast was very good, sharp and friendly. No need to checkout since payed from agoda. A corner store is within steps, and a Jack in a the box too. ...

Can't stand when these hotels are not upfront with a customer. Booked my hotel, paid for it and thought I was good. Next thing you know, I had to pay for parking as well and since I stayed there for 5 days, I had to pay 80+ bucks. Nowhere did it mention on the website that I had to pay for parking. That's just wrong. Location is good though. Close to almost everything...

The hotel decor is a little dated but has new appliances. This hotel is a great value for the money. 2queen beds suite with sofa bed that sleeps 6 for 100$ plus breakfast and an ok dinner and drinks, I don’t think you could get a better deal. The rooms were very clean, beds and pillows were comfortable (Comparable to best western beds) staff was very friendly and see...

My boyfriend and I love to stay here and this was the first time that we had problems with this hotel. The air-condition was not working properly and maintenance came and looked at it, cleaned the filters put everything back together and it was still not working properly. We hardly slept through the night as it was so hot and humid in the room.

I was very apprenhensive about staying here after reading all the recent reviews. But from the moment of my check in, I find that there was really nothing to worry about. The girl at the frontdesk was friendly and nice. We had big and heavy luggages, so she explained that we could have rooms downstairs but they were in a seperate building which was fine by us. Floo...

The hotel is what you would expect for the money but what makes it a nice place to stay is the customer service. The gentleman that manages the desk at night time goes above and beyond. The night I checked in another person should up from another hotel because of problems and wanted to make sure this hotel was clean and bug free. Of course Frank, the employee said it w...

Got good value for the price paid. Beds are comfy. Get a good night's rest. Staff is attentive to guest's needs. Will try to accommodate needs as best possible. Maintenance and cleanliness could be improved. The floor could use a better moping work. The same floor has seen plenty of wearing down. It might be better to re do it. I didn't use the pool but did notice it ...

Pros: The location is very close to Lackland Air Base which is what we wanted. Right off of a main road. The young man at the front desk was awesome. Super friendly and helpful. The breakfast is very limited and quaint, but the pancake machine was good. There was juice, coffee, cereal, bananas, oatmeal packets and pastry snacks as well. Not bad for the price of the r...

I get to the hotel and the guy at the front desk can't find my reservation. I did get a confirmation email from Agoda and the hotel earlier that day. Then after losing my ID twice said he would charge me $42 plus tax for a room. I agreed, gave him my debit card. When he asked me to sign the receipt I noticed it was more than what he said. I declined to sign the receipt...

Our room was large enough. We stayed for 3 days, and we enjoyed. And our bed- it was something very especial : not too soft, not too hard! It was right for us. The pillows were exactly what we like. Not too big, not too small. And the floor was cleaned very carefully - you can feel it when you walk barefoot on it. Many thanks to the staff.

This hotel was recently renovated with new carpet, bedding and furnishing. Very clean and room was quite large(room with 2 double beds). Conveniently located close to airport and they also provide transportation to and from the airport. I liked the coffee that was available round the clock in the lobby. Hotel was located in a somewhat quiet area. Beds were comfortable....

The staff was fantastic and extremely friendly and knowledgeable. my family and I really enjoyed it, but the rooms seem a bit ran down for the price. They could definitely use a remodel needs a lot of work done. The beds were not very comfortable. The location was great everything you need is right there. Within reasonably traveling distance to major attractions. We...

Hotel said they hadn't received my payment yet, this was a Sunday and I had this booked and paid by that Friday. My husband and I were exhausted and starving from being at Six Flags all day all we wanted was to check in, shower and have dinner. Well since they didn't have my payment I had to call AGODA. AGODA had me on hold for such a long time (the hotel booked li...

I just needed something cheap for one night. I’m very picky but I also didn’t want to spend too much. I got lucky it was clean enough, because it seemed like they had gotten some remodeling although the building is old. It’s doable for a night anything more probably not.

We felt safe and the staff were kind to us. I would ask that the smell of the cigarette smoke from previous smokers be neutralized (difficult after decades of permeated walls, I know). The staff is what made our trip very pleasant and made us feel secure. This would bring me back again and again. Thank you. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Gahlyn and Dolores Hegg...

Very clean hotel with an excellent, friendly and helpful staff. Very good complimentary breakfast. It had a good variety of food. The waffles, scrambled eggs and sausage were outstanding. The bed and tv were in good, modern shape and the room and hotel grounds were immaculate. Good pool for the kids. Sea world is about 5 minutes by car, Fiesta Texas and the river wa...

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in here in San Antonio. Rooms were very clean, hotel staff is beyond awesome they are very helpful and attentive. Was able to upgrade my room to the highest floor for a small charge. Only thing is that I wish the beds were bigger.Overall great place to stay with awesome staff.

Our stay here was excellent. Everything exceeded our expectations. Only thing we were not expecting was the valet only parking. Since parking was listed on the site we expected to pay a fee but thought we would still be able to self park. Will be staying here again.

So I arrived today and the room that I was given had a broken toilet. I called the front desk and asked for a different room and they said that they would get me one. After waiting for quite a while I decide to go downstairs and was told that I’d been a different room but no one called. Then I get a room that was right by the elevator and I can’t believe how loud it is...

Good location.. close to an outlet mall Awesome view No need to go outside restaurants are good Beautiful infinity pool Great amenities.. a little expensive but worth it. They need more staff Pls add calamari on your menu at the pool side bar.. tnx
5-star hotels in San Antonio (TX)

It’s a luxury hotel so expected more impeccable quality or service. The good point was that the staff were all nice (except for the one front desk guy who was a bit rude) and tried to “problem solve” for us. However there were indeed “problems”... no signage for parking and so our car was driven to a wrong area and that front desk guy told me to sort out with Valet d...
