Nice and very clean hotel in Samarinda. Choose riverview room for best view and enjoy the Mahakam River in the afternoon. Good breakfast and services. Location a bit far from the city centre, but it's ok since there was no traffuc in the city. Very recomended hotel definetly!

i spent many times to stay at midtown Surabaya, then I have chance to try to stay at midtown Samarinda. they manage to keep the excellent standard compare to midtown Surabaya, and in samarinda the location is strategic, walking distance to food center and many places to go.

my stay in samarinda was perfect thanks to the hotel, its proximity to everything in the city and the excellent service of the hotel staff. i was disappointed that i did not have enough time to use the massage service, but am sure to include it in my schedule during my next trip. i will be visiting samarinda frequently and will not want to stay at any other place.

Nothing really within walking distance, and the staff had no knowledge (or even maps) regarding tourism. They weren't aware of any ferry service upriver, or even the going rate for a taxi to Tenggarong. But for non-tourists, it would be an okay hotel. This was my fourth or fifth stay. This hotel might be the only reasonably priced hotel in Samarinda, where everything is expensive. This stay, however, was the worst. The bathroom was clogged, water couldn't flow out. Instead, dirty water flow in from the sewage to the bathroom.

great hotel at reasonable price, but nothing quite fancy if you compared to hotels in Big cities like Jakarta. but for a city like Samarinda, couldn't expect anything better. it's just good enough for a good rest.

Great little hotel close to Big Mall with its many eateries. Basic rooms TV, AC and ensuite. More than sufficient to rest after a days outing.
