when booking I had thought it was overpriced for Oamaru - but when I checked in I was extremely pleased with the sizable space and facilities. The host provided a basket of home baked muffins upon check-in. and was a great source of information regarding the penguin shows.

We stay here for one night ,but I will choose again.Dave and Liz are very very nice .when we got home late in the evening, we found that they had switched the heater for us so that we would not feel cold .we are so touched，feel like at home. as above.the motel is modern, very clean and the staff most helpful when asked for advice. both nights,we cooked on the barbecue, met very pleasant fellow guests and shared drinks in the pleasant outdoor area. oamaru has an interesting victorian precint, which has been either kept intact or restored. i am amazed that cruise ships have not discovered it.

The host Tina was very friendly and helpful. She is also very considerate to have left the fireplace burning when we arrive on a cold wet night. I absolutely love the huge cosy den and the very well equipped kitchen. I wish I could spend more nights here

The price is relative expensive for the room itself. The shower water is so week and it is cold in the morning. No one was there when we arrived and we have to call the booking customer service. Pros: Absolutely beautiful home. Great decors, very charming house. Easy to find. Cons: Expect to have a slightly difficult time if bringing in huge luggage. Water pressure needs more improvement. No dishwasher.

Good place for relaxation

The Whitestone was a wonderful little apartment in a very nice part of Oamaru. Close to all the places you'd like to visit and with all the comforts of home.

Dewlyn arrange a bigger 1 bedroom motel with full set of kitchen facilities for us. We had a wonderful time preparing dinner with microwave, electric pot, fridge and necessary utensils. It's only 7 mins drive to Oamaru town and supermarket. Indeed there's a shop selling fresh vegetables just opposite motel and a gas station next to motel.

There's a Macdonalds and petrol station just next to the motel and a KFC opposite. A number of other eateries can also be found near the vincity of the motel. AAA Thames Court Motel is a very modern and new motel and the city of Oamaru. The facilities are well maintained and we enjoyed our stay very much.

It is a clean place with kitchen. Easy to park and good location near the main road. We felt comfortable in the room and the staff Ian is really warm. Ian gave us some suggestions about the restaurants in Oamaru. We enjoyed the food of that Italian restaurant. Our neighbours are a little bit noisy. We heard their sound all night.

It is located in the center of Oamaru. Not far from the Oamaru Blue Penguin colony and Bushy beach. The Hostel is also an art gallery because there are many hostel guests paintings.
