We are actually booked in another hotel for swimming. We check-in here for day tour - Plaza, Market and Baybayin, Dalampasigan Restaurant. Sukitel's location is actually walking distance for our intended tour. Don't expect much because the price is really cheap. The staff is very accommodating and sensitive; I booked for a good for 2-3 person room to save money but she gave as bigger room (thank you).

I stayed for one night in one condo room of pico de loro and I can say that it is a budget option than staying in a hotel if you are more than two persons who will stay. You can cook your food because they provide cooking utensil plus free drinking water. The condo is clean except that , I do not want the smell of the blanket. Despite of it, we enjoyed our vacation.

The resort was a bit far but was well worth it. Open showers and toilets were everywhere around the facility so if you're traveling with family, there was no need to rush with the only restroom you had in your room. The sunset was wonderful and the staff were nice. My only concern was the Karaoke machine. The rent was P100 per hour (which was no problem!) but we almost had an argument with another group because they used the machine and left, when we were already using it, they wanted us to leave because they paid for the "hour". We just left because we didn't want any conflict and they were already intoxicated. There should be guidelines or proper order for the use of the Karaoke machine to prevent conflicts like this.

From the airport it is approx 70km away. Staff were extremely friendly. We stayed in house 1 and it was very spacious. It had its own kitchen and fridge. It’s a 2 mins walk away from the beach. The part owners are Italian so try their spaghetti!! If you need anything drive 10km to Nasugbu town and you’ll find other restaurants. Pet friendly as well! You can do boat excursions there to go to surrounding beaches for very reasonable price approx 1600 depending what you want to do.

The whole place is great, my whole family love walking at the parks, and swimminng areas are not crowded. A bit expensive, but c'mon you cannot find a beautiful place like this with a cheap price,afterall we expect to pay for this family getaway. The room we rent is Carola A202, for a family of 6pax we fit perfectly, the room is clean and tidy. Just like home it has everything needed for cooking a quick meal. Bedsheets and pillows seem to be brand new. The aircon has waterleak but the maintenance fix it immediately. Also no smart signal inside the room. Overall its fair enough for its price, cant complain because we all enjoyed our stay. We will comeback for sure.

The condo we rented was nice but quite crowded for 4 adults so we ended getting a room at the Pico de Loro hotel. Also we did not expect that we needed to pay cash to the caretaker of the owner. Good thing I had cash. I thought I could pay when we checked in but what we had to pay was an entrance fee to the beach club for the use of the pool and beach. It was confusing. There is no atm machine inside the property so make sure you have enough cash to pay the rental of the condo. Had I known about this I could have made reservations with the hotel which offered discount for seniors and breakfast was included.

Great location. We felt one with nature. The place is very clean and quiet. The resort has a big pool. If you to go to the beach, there is a free shuttle going to Tali beach. The food is REALLY good! Prices are reasonable because they have big servings. All the staff were very nice and helpful. Our only complains are: 1. Water pressure on the bathroom faucet was too weak. (But the shower was fine) 2. In the evening, you can hear loud music coming from the 'perya' near the resort. But you can ask the resort staff to talk to the ones operating the perya to lower the volume. Overall, we highly recommend this place. This is one of our best getaways. We will definitely go back!

Got charged more than what I booked for ( quoted P2500 vs P3300 actual); very remote location; attendant wasn't aware we had confirmation for room; bathroom was dirty and looked like it was used before we arrived; room was very small without tables or chairs; no refrigerator and television in the room was not connected to cable service, however, the attendant had service for her television; Air Conditioner wasn't working properly as the room did not even get cold the whole night we stayed; no signal in the room/compound so we couldn't even use our cell phones to send/receive text messages. Would not recommend this dump to anyone.

I have been to Pico Sands Hotel for a number of times. This is because it's a short drive to this secluded and exclusive beach. You can either go through Tagaytay-Nasugbu (est. 4 hours) or thru Cavitex (est. 2.5 hours). Staff training: During this visit, I noticed that the staff need training. When we ate in the resto, they have bibimbap with kimchi. I have to asked the waiter thrice to bring the kimchi, because he does not know what kimchi is. In B&B, the staff was not able to explain fully the 3 games + 1 free promo. Facilities: Overall, the beach is well-maintained and clean. The poolside canopies need repair as there are major leaks when it is raining. Food: The food is good, esp. the Pho. And the buffet spread has variety and flavor. And of course, try their milo dinosaur, it is far the best one I tasted. For the rooms, always pick the Lagoon View, it is more serene; the Mountain View, you would probably see the parking lot. Towels are worn out. Toiletries are included

The resort, country club, and restaurants is a bit on the expensive side but my friends and I thought it was worth it. Even on peak season, the staff were friendly and the service as fast as they can manage. The condo we stayed at -Jacana - has space that would comfortably hold four adults. However, a few things caused irritation like light switches that fell apart and a lumpy mattress. Best to coordinate with booking agents and the caretaker of the condo for your group’s needs like enough blankets.

Just back from a few days at Punta Fuego over valentines and Chinese New Year holiday. It was a great find. Excellent value for money, and a beautiful quiet place to get away from the buzz of the city. Went to Boracay last May, but much preferred Nasugbu. Although there is not the same night life, Nasugbu nod Punta Fuego as bratiful views, and is gloriously uncrowned, with beautiful, and empty, clean beaches. Punta Fuego is a big resort, with several beaches and 3 great swimming pools, right at the beach, but the beach is rocky. The main central area is not so large, and has 2 eternity pools with beautiful sunsets. But long beach, a 10 min walk or short shuttle ride has a great sandy beach with water sports and another pool. But the crowning glory is The Terraces, a second residential resort 6kms away. The beach & pool here are great, but the Cabanas are perfect for spending a day, swinging in the hammock or lying on the lounger. The rooms are nice, (Casitas) big, 2 queen size beds and a huge bathroom. Ours had a sea view, which I highly recommend, a nice veranda to sit out on. Easily enough room for a young family to share or friends looking for a cheap break sharing 1 room. We will be back! The food is good, but only the main restaurant opens in the evening. It's not possible to find somewhere outside as it's too remote, so I recommend 3 nights is probably the max before you get bored with food choices...however, the executive chef is excellent and cooked a Tuna for us on valentines night that we bought at the beach in Terraces. It was better than anything I've eaten at Shangri-La or Hyatt, top class!

Pros 1. ROOM - very 5 star hotel feels. best thing about the room is the veranda. bed is so comfy.. room smells excellent. large and clean comfort room. 2. FOOD - although breakfast for the 1st morning is a bit disappointing they were able to make bawi on their ala carte and grilled selection. we highly recommend their Bulalo and Kare-kare. pricey but sulit. 3. POOL - depth is just right for average pinoy. the lay out is also nice cause even if there are lot of guest it doesnt feel like to crowded. 4. BEACH - not as nice as Punta Fuego side of the beach but much better than other Nasugbu part. 5. SMOKING AREA - as a smoker this is a must for us. there are several smoking areas that we can use without causing trouble with other guests. Cons 1. CHECK-IN - its hell.. we had to wait for 1.5hours to have our key cards. Some had to wait for 2.5hrs. Reason? Manual room assignment! 2. No 24hrs resto or convenience store open 3. Understaffed knowing its a weekend

I just wish I own a unit here. The unit we stayed in (Carola) was very neat, cozy, and clean. Except for some ants, which is ubiquitous during this time of the year, I coukdnt complain. The unit has everything you need, you will really feel home. This is one place you need to experience. The morning is almost perfect, probably one of the best morning experience I ever had. There’s a lot to do in the clubhouse, but being a nature lover, I preferred to jog, hike, and have some coffee on the balcony. And the smell of grass, wow. Perfect respite from the jungle called city. I will most likely return, with a bike. Highly recommended.

Booking and coordination: 1. The Administrator Ms. Gertrude was very accommodating, she doesn't respond quickly but its always with in 24 hours we get a valuable answer. The day before the check-in she will provide you with the complete details and suggestion to make the registration and trip process to be more efficient. 2. Ate Maricel our care taker was also good as she handed over the unit after cleaning exactly during the stated check in time UNIT: 1. the unit I reserved was a studio type having 2 queen size bed 2. complete kitchen appliances and utensils 3. Bathroom was also clean and just right for a family of four 4. Balcony has a lavatory to wash the clothes after swimming and provided with area and hanger to hang your wet clothes. it also has a garden seat enough to seat 4 people to chill out after a full day of roaming around the area Over all the stay was great my family enjoyed the trip... This place is a good alternative for those who want to avoid expensive airfares to go to a nice beach. Just 3 hours from Manila via Tagaytay (great stopover by the way), I just got lucky that I was able to book this cheap. It's a private, members only, beach resort/private subdivision. Amara Residences are private condos (condotel) which some can be rented. So each unit comes with a kitchen which you can use to cook your own food (just bring dinnerware, cutlery, pots, and utensils if you do plan to cook your meals). The unit I was able to rent is a two-bedroom each with its own bathroom. There is a terrace overlooking the property, with jacuzzi. To go swimming, you go to their private beach where the restaurant and another swimming pool is located. I like the layout of the whole area and the beach is clean. The place is really well-maintained. Staff on both areas (condotel and beach area) are attentive and friendly. I will certainly come back if I can. Highly recommended.

Overall experience in this unit has been awful for the following reasons: 1. Coordination with the owner has been a pain. Response time to queries take so long. I kept on following up on what we need to do up to the morning we were supposed to travel. I only got instructions and permits on the day of my stay! Traveling with senior citizens who like to plan ahead did not help. It would have been great if the owner has a back-up coordinator if she is traveling abroad so that customers don’t adjust to her schedule. 2. The beds were not very comfortable. Sofa bed may need some repair. 3. We’ve been lied at by the caretaker. She told us that we need to change room because the aircon on the other floor wasn’t working. Little did she know that we were informed by the coordinators at the gate that the unit previously assigned to us has been occupied by another tenant earlier. 4. The price of the unit was a bit expensive. We got another unit for 2K less.

Pico de Loro is a fun and memorable place for a luxury vacation if you can afford it. Expensive entrance fee? Yes, one time P1,500 per adult during holiday season, but can be reasonable for long stay. In return, you get free shuttle, free air conditioned big clean shower room with unlimited premium quality shampoo and body wash gel, well maintained amenities and medium high profile visitors only.

We had an awesome time with the resort amenities. The beach was clean and inviting. There was ample shuttles. We left on Saturday morning and saw a long line of guests at the security check point so I suggest you check in on a weekday to avoid the line at the security gate. It does take time for them to gather your information documents and collect the resort fees. Remember that besides the condominium fee that you paid through Agoda, there is a separate resort fee that you will pay at the security gate. The room was clean and access was a breeze. It would be nice if the owner would provide free towels.

Satisfied with our overall experience with a few areas for improvement. HASSLE-FREE from booking to check out. It was a loooooong trip going there but all worth it. Wish we could've extended our stay as the weather was also pleasant. Mr Rey has been very helpful to us and answered all our queries about the property and even how to get there. The caretaker- Ate Lucy was also very warm and helpful as we settled down. GOOD: The property was complete- Kitchenware, Wifi, Cable, Water etc. All areas were airconditioned. There were available caddies to take you around the property. House was big and there were enough beds especially for those who travel in groups. Great recreational activities too. NEEDS IMPROVEMENT: The curtain is already broken, hence people passing by can see you (living room area). There was no mention on the resort fee that you have to pay as you enter the premises and it was a bit pricey considering we only stayed for one night (fee was valid for a week).
