Find Hotels in Kuala Berang, Malaysia

We stayed there to go to our friend's wedding in kuala berang. The house is very near to pekan kuala berang and the bus station. It is also very near to the toll exit. I think just about 10 minutes from the exit. The house is very big and nice. The master bedroom has an aircond equipped and bathroom. There are wifi also wifi and fridge. But you can't cook. There is no stove. However, still. The house is very nice. Definitely would stay here again if we were to come to kuala berang again.

we stayed at a lake view chalet (rm300, breakfast included) which has a wonderful view of lake kenyir. the chalet was clean and spacious, the bathroom contains a dressing table and wardrobe so it's about 1/3 the size of the chalet. the inside looked a bit old but is still good. the buffet breakfast was decent and had their fish and chips (rm15) for lunch which i would recommend. try to go for the ala carte menu instead of the buffet for lunch and dinner. buffet dinner looked nice but felt is was overpriced at rm55+ there aren't many other eating options nearby so keep that in mind. there are decent mamak places on the road to kuala berang but you will need your own car as the one we ate dinner at was at least 8km from the resort. the road to kuala terengganu from lake kenyir doesn't have many street lights so be careful when driving at night. there is a park not too far from the resort near pangkalan gawi which looked like they had eating places but they were closed when we were staying there.

I had made a booking through Agoda for a Family room with 2 Double Bed. Check in 23/10/15 and check out 24/10/15 and request for a late check in. When arrived at the hotel, I was told the room has been given to another guest. The reason is, they did not realize there is a booking made through Agoda. Do not want to make an issue , I just accept another room ( 1 Double Bed + 1 single bed ). I was told that an extra bed will be put in, but then I was so shock that the extra bed that the provide to us is actually on a mattress without the bed. My daughter have to sleep on the floor with only mattress. It was so unprofessional for the hotel to give that kind of service. I will not recommended this Hotel to others.
