Lotte Hotel Hanoi
Ba Dinh District,Hanoi - View on map
"My experience with Lotte Hotel Hanoi has been nothing short of perfect ever since I made the decision to book a room. Everyone at the hotel seems to go out of their way to make your special occasion even better. As soon as I got to the hotel I was blown away by the view. It's one thing to imagine it but it's another thing altogether to get, what is perhaps, the best view in Hanoi from what might be the most luxurious hotel in Hanoi. The service is absolutely impeccable from everyone in the hotel but I do need to specially point out Ms. Ngan, Mr. Dat Tan Nguyen and every one of the Reservation Sales Agents I talked to for doing an exceptional job. They go out of their way to ensure you have the best time possible."

Acoustic Hotel & Spa
Hoan Kiem District,Hanoi - View on map
"This is our first time in Vietnam and we had a great time. One of the reasons we had is because of the Hotel we choose where to stay. It is very hard where and what Hotel to choose from since they have attractive prices, place & amenities. However, I can definitely and will highly recommend, Acoustic Hotel & Spa! 😊 The staffs are very nice, informative & can speak english very well, special those from the reception desk & their Managers. 😊 Even if we already checked out, they offered to let our baggages be left in the Hotel while we stroll Hanoi. Also, they offered to let us use their bathrooms to freshen up before we go to the airport which is very impressive as we are not their guest anymore but feels like one! We will comeback again to this Hotel once we are in Vietnam!! 😊"

Hanoi Center Silk Hotel
Old Quarter,Hanoi - View on map
"We travel to Hanoi once a month on average and typically stay at a five star hotel on the lake. This was the first time we stayed at the Essence d'Orient Hotel and Spa and it will be the hotel we stay at from now on. We had a better experience here than at the five star hotel and at more than half the price and a much better location. What a great experience at this wonderful boutique hotel and spa. The overall feeling we got was one of visiting the home of a good friend. Warm greetings, attentive service, very clean, warm decor, fantastic food and unique personal feeling. The location cannot be beat if you want to see the old quarter as it is right in the center of the action. We strolled down one block away each evening to have a drink, listen to music and watch the people from all over the world. The breakfast must be the best in Hanoi (better than the five start hotel). We had lunch and we recommend each visitor to eat at least one time at the hotel for lunch or dinner as the food was outstanding and a unique twist on traditional Vietnamese dishes. We also spent an afternoon at the Spa on the second floor. Again, it felt like we were visiting friends as the spa staff took great care of us, provided wonderful, professional massages and gave us the energy to hit the streets of the old quarter once again. We will use the Essence d'Orient Hotel and Spa as our new Hanoi home as if feels like visiting friends. Who wouldn't want a five star experience at half the price?"

The Hanoi Club Hotel & Residences
Tay Ho District,Hanoi - View on map
"The Hanoi Club Hotel is located in the North of Hanoi in reasonable distance between the airport and downtown. The room was excellent, great designed, best features the king size bed and the spacy luxory bathroom. also well, wide screen TV, WiFi, AC. The staff is very friendly, competent and supportive. Every question answered satisfctionally. The breakfast is good to excellent, the room and breakfast staff excellent. The location invites you to real Vietnames urban life, walking at the West Lake, great restaurants and sightseeing points in walking distance. The price is very reasonable for the service you get. also a very nice pool with lake view, a good gym and spa available. The service there incl. towels is also excellent. No comments or prejudices for us as mixed couples Vietnamese/German which we faced in other locations. Yes we will come again!"

The Bloom Hanoi
Cau Giay District,Hanoi - View on map
"Will spend more time in reviewing this property as it has set itself in a corner of my heart. A sure to stay location if I am going to Hanoi. This is a newly built apartment, very nicely decorated, with cooking utensils, bowls, plates, basic items and more that you will need in the kitchen. Water dispenser, working fridge (some places provide fridge that never works). Very friendly and young staffs who's attention is always on the guest. Young staffs who also takes the chance to communicate and practice their English. A super market right by the side to get the things you may need, nice restaurants nearby for the foreigners who have yet to get use to Vietnam dinning, and many local food and cafes around. Stayed a few times in The Bloom in Hanoi, and simply love it. Hopefully my review does not cause the prices to rise, so that I can continue to visit and stay there for my Hanoi Business Trips. Great Job, Thumbs Up, and keep up the good job!!!"

Golden Sun Suites Hotel
Old Quarter,Hanoi - View on map
"After a very disappointing experience in another hotel in Hanoi, it was so refreshing to transfer to Golden Sun. Everything almost perfect: location - its near different markets and the lake, accomodations - rooms well-maintained and kept clean, breakfast offers both local and international cuisine, hotel people/staff are a gem, its one of their best assets. I've personally experienced their hospitality and warmth and saw them giving the same treatment to other guests. I've read some hotel staff in other hotels in Hanoi can be quite pushy with offering tours but I did not experience this with the Golden Sun staff. They just ask about our activities for the day and since we have booked activities already, they just leave it at that. We had time to kill after check-out and they made our stay in the lobby comfortable by asking us from time to time if we needed help or wanted drinks. It was a short but hassle free stay, would definitely stay here again given the chance. Highly recommended to couples, families and single travelers."

Little Charm Hanoi Hostel
Old Quarter,Hanoi - View on map
"I was so lucky to have found Little Charm Hanoi Hostel. I almost booked a different hostel, until I stumbled upon this on Agoda! It's one of the best hostels I've stayed at in my 7 months of continuous traveling. The first hostel where beds are made for you daily and towels can be changed daily if you wish. Lots of toilets and shower rooms on every floor so you won't have to queue. Everyone in the staff was GENUINELY NICE. Zoe on the front desk was always helpful and Antonio the Spanish-speaking vietnamese staff. Guy who checked me in was so nice as well, but I didn't get his name. Breakfast was amaaaazing. I did not expect it to be so good. You are given lots of options on a menu card, but on top of that, there's even a buffet spread for fruits, vegetables and drinks (juices, vietnamese coffee, tea, water). Not only that, the hostel even has a pool with jets! The common area is also nice. You get a quiet work area on the second floor, or you can hang out at the restaurant as all their seats are comfy and all areas are work-conducive. So handy when you're working while traveling like me. It was so good, we extended 2 more nights (direct at the hostel) and we booked again for when we come back to Hanoi. Also, the hostel holds your luggages for you (in a storage room with bag tags) if you want to check out and go to Sapa/Halong Bay for a couple of days. Really can't ask for more! If you don't stay here when you're in Hanoi, you'd be missing out on a lot! Hanoi is chaotic but this hostel is your little oasis in the middle of all that! The best!"

More about Hanoi

Hanoi is an elegant blend of old Vietnam and modern times, making it one of Southeast Asia’s most unique cities. From the local cafés with a hint of Parisian grace to the motorcycles that weave through a maze of streets in the old quarter, the city is a feast for the senses. Whether it's strolling along the banks of Hoan Kiem Lake or pausing to reflect on a millennium-old pagoda, Hanoi is the type of city that encourages visitors to slow down and enjoy their day.

In West Hanoi, Ba Dinh District is home to several museums and Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum. A few hotels in this area flank the 11th-century One-Pillar Pagoda.

A walking tour of the old quarter is a must while visiting Hanoi. This maze of alleyways dates back to the 1200s and hides many interesting sites. Bach Ma Temple is the most important temple in the area. Across from this historic structure are a series of museums and sites related to Ho Chi Minh.

East Hanoi's Hai Ba Trung District is now known for its university scene and nightlife.

Noi Bai International Airport is Hanoi's international gateway, with flights connecting to cities across Southeast Asia.
