Find Hotels in Ha Tien (Kien Giang), Vietnam

We stayed in Ha Tien on our way to Phu Quoc, to make the ferry the next day after an excrutiating trip from Cambodia. In asking for directions, locals referred to it as "the nine-storey hotel" and it in fact sticks-out like a sore thumb in a quiet fishing village (we were there in the low season). Having said that, the rooms were great, clean, nice views - and the hotel was extremely quiet, which was a blessing after the 10h bus-, tuk-tuk-, motorbike-journey we had. In the morning for breakfast, we were the only 2 ppl having breakfast and had around 8 staff buzzing around. Even the manager came to greet us and asked us about our stay. Conclusion: Great hotel, aimed at business travellers and non-backpacking tourists, excellent locale and service

Ha Tien hotel Using Agoda, was already a bonus, just gave my passport then 2 minutes I was in my room, nice clen, comfortable room, large bathroom, with the need for getting clean, shampoo, teeth brushs, comb, etc.. The stuff at the reception was just friendly, but after a day stay they become more relaxed with me and talk. Just around the corner of the market, the fishing port, not far from the warf to get to the island by boat, in the city center, well situated. From ho chi Ming city a night bus departure 11:45 pm arrive at 7:15 am the bus station is outside town approximately 2 km , easy to walk after to be inactive on the bus for 7 hours, over wise the cost of a motor drop is around 30000. Dongs. The people of Ha Tien are very friendly, especially in the market, it look like they don't see much tourist in Ha Tien.

We've got a big room and within a 5 min walk you are in the center of ha tien. We just spend 14$per night - therefore absolut perfect.breakfast was typically vietnamese - pho soup and other warm things - suits perfect for us. But maybe somebody would miss bread european breakfast. The staff is not really into english - but who really is that in Vietnam? So everthing works fine!

This resort has such potential and could be really nice but it fails at so many levels. The reception staff seem unable to smile though a nice smiling young man did take us to one of their chalets which was a double rather than the twin we had booked. The lighting in many Vietnamese hotels is not thought through but this place was really very poor indeed. Also very sparsely furnished. We were expected to choose what we wanted for breakfast the night before and it turned out that breakfast did not include coffee or the milk to go in it (no fresh milk available). The restaurant is outside near the beach but despite having excess staff all over the resort, no one had thought to perhaps tidy up the rubbish on the ground in the restaurant. In fact the staff swept things from the table onto the ground. No wonder there were so many ants and flies in the area. No Wifi in the rooms, no free water (almost all hotels offer this in Vietnam). Beds were hard. The pool was dirty but a good size and almost no one spoke English. Yet, the gardens were well attended and watered and the whole place could be terrific if someone took the trouble to organise the resort and get things right. It must be poorly managed.

Clean, comfortable room for a night. The bathroom is basic- the standard shower over the loo you get in lots of parts of Asia. Very useful location a few steps from the river front send central ha Tien. Staff friendly, but not much English spoken. Be aware that the shutters close in the evening and you have to knock to alert reception to let you in. Seems like a safe, clean, very reasonably priced hotel if staying in ha Tien for a short time.

it was a good price. the staff seemed friendly but they couldn't speak english which is fine as we're in vietnam. we can speak vietnamese. it was an ok room for what we paid. the drain didn't drain well and the internet signal was weak in the rooms. we were on the third floor. i would stay there again but i have had better places to stay in vietnam for that price point. i don't think ha tien has a ton to offer for places to stay. they didn't clean our room in the two days we stayed.

The hotel is brand new and sparklingly clean. Great rooms, spacious with everything you need, good air con and wifi. The location is a little out of the way. It's on land that looks as if it is going to be redeveloped with one house close to it and lots of spare land surrounding it. That's ok but there isn't really a main road, more of a dirt road in places, we needed a torch at night for part of our journey back. Only ten minutes walk into town. Overlooks the river, sea and mountains, fabulous for watching the fisherman coming in. We were the only guests staying in the hotel so had great service! Will be a great hotel once it has neighbours!

Amazing value for our family! The room was clean and tidy. The pool is good, but was not totally clean when we were there (they were installing a new filtration system). There is some construction around the pool area, and it looks like the villas will be beautiful when finished. The buffet breakfast is great, and has an assortment of all kinds of food, including fruit, soup, eggs and various other Vietnamese breakfast items. You definitely get your money’s worth out of this place!
