I had a long tiring trip from Cebu to General Santos via Davao by plane and by bus. By the time I made it to the hotel it was very late at night. All I needed was food and rest. I spotted the hotel was within walking distance to a McDonald's and that's where I ran for a quick dinner before dropping to bed. The hotel room was clean and quiet. I was able to have a good night sleep. All I had the next day was breakfast before I checked out. Breakfast was delicious. Thanks to Microtel by Wyndham General Santos, a good night sleep and a delicious breakfast really prepared me for a hectic day of work in General Santos.

This is a relatively new hotel in General Santos City which I believe would give the more established ones excellent competition! It is a business hotel whose propositions of excellent service, and superb (standard or deluxe) room amenities are very much evident. The rooms offer a cozy and restful decor. The 'single' room offers so much space for one person. Location cannot get any better as it is just a few meters away from the city's center of activities - the General Santos Park. Are are a lot of good dining options within the complex of the hotel. The establishment also offers free airport transfers! (that is always good when you are travelling to General Santos) Some points of for the hotel to improve on: provide dental kits as a standard bath amenity; and add one more pillow for every bed... at no extra cost to the guest (this will greatly help in providing great sleep quality).

3G Garden Hotel of General Santos city was cozy, clean and very hospitable. What really made my stay there worth it was the strong and stable internet connection they had. Making my work and online trades accessible with no hitch. However, the place lacks a wider variety of food selection, though their food is well prepared and tasty, the limited options make you want to search for a nearby restaurant. They should also add more facilities at their place since their location is best suited for families, like a pool or a kiddie play area would be plus for future travelers. Nonetheless, my stay at 3G Garden was comfortable and worth the price I paid. Near the city center but just far and hidden enough to give you that peace of mind you need after a day's worth of meetings.

We stayed for a week, in this resort type Hotel, the rooms were big enough to accommodate four persons and comes with complimentary breakfast. They have 3 pools, 1 large wading pool, a kid's pool and a lap pool. The resort personnel were very accommodating and are always eager to assist us with our concerns. It is very accessible from the city center but at the same time it boasts a secluded location from the main road which makes it the best place to stay in terms of location, you'll get proximity and privacy not to mention the value of money. The vibe in the property is also very lively since young students always come to the place. Lots of trees plus a large lake were you can go fishing, The best place to be in GenSan!!!

it was my second visit in general santos city and i'm glad to know that phela grande hotel has a newly opened branch of hotel ( phela grande residences)the hotel offers free shuttle service to/from the airport which is very comfortable for my transportation. when i arrived at the hotel, the feeling was great! the establishment was very modern,friendly staff, and most especially rooms that are like five-star. inside the room you couldn't ask for more, everything was already provided. there is a kitchenette, if you want to cook rice cooker, microwave, and heater is also given. when i go out i properly fixed my hair because hair blower is also provided in the room. and for my security, which is the most crucial part they do also have safety deposit box so whenever you have valuables like money/ipad you can leave it there safely. and lastly, good food is what satisfies my mood.lola sisay seafood house caters great filipino cuisine. my stay here is definitely unbeatable. i love it!higly recommended.

PROS: - We got the best value for money. - Staffs were very nice. - Clean towel & bedsheets. - Working AC & HOT Shower for an evening bath. CONS: - They don't sell coffee. - They don't offer breakfast and thus we need to check out early for brunch with my family. - No public utility cars were available in the area but very close to MCDO, CHOWKING, JOLLIBEE, SM, GMALL & KCC MALLS. OVERALL: - If you don't want to spend that much, be contented with what the property has to offer. If you are wanting or expecting luxury stay, then go for 5-star hotels in the area. STOP complaining of what the property has to offer you. Don't expect too much but spend too little. We're planning to check in again the coming weeks.

Our stay was almost great but seems like the staff in the hotel did not really pay attention to our instruction, it was a very important instruction because we dont want to miss our flight that day. Before we went to our room to rest we have clearly instructed the Front Desk that we need a taxi at 7AM bcause they have a Van but no driver and i don't know what happen because the morning staff did not get that message, was it because of lack of communication or whatsoever???? And this front desk just called the Taxi about 7:30 AM and we were a bit irrirated already because he lacks cooperation and iniative to follow-up, only does it when his asked. But overall the hotel was really a nice location and easy to locate. Thank You.

View is great. My kid loves it. Facilities great for an outdoor garden. Breeze is clean, though GenSan is generally hot in temperature. I just hope in the future it has a pool and a playground to complete it. Only problem is the receptionist, we scheduled transfers at 2pm but she changed it to 1pm and informed us 11:30am that morning. We found ourselves rushing our lunch. So annoying.

If you will just be staying shortly in General Santos then this property suites you. Overall, better to stay properties nearby mall/city center. Pros: Near Bulaong Terminal (9 minutes), Free breakfast (but we didn't managed to avail as we need to leave early) and spacious room. Cons: - Seems staff aren't aware that we will arrive, so we need to wait for check-in. When we are inside the room, towels and remote control were not prepared. Checked the toilet and it's unclean. - A bit far from city center but you can easily access tricycle around - AC on our room doesn't work properly and leaking. But we didn't manage to report it as we need to leave early.

For an overnight stay, we paid 2,900+ for a room with free breakfast. The room was clean, size was good and well furnished but I feel that the price was a bit high for what we got. The location however was great. It was near malls and there was adequate parking. There's a convenience store, a coffee shop, and a salon basically at your doorstep. The breakfast was not great but it was okay. At least they attempted a mini buffet and not just a plate in breakfast. If you are not on a budget and want a great, convenient location, give Sun City Suites a try!

This hotel is brand new and has been open since May, if I remember. There are both good and bad things regarding this hotel. I'll go through the bad first and then the good. This hotel has no phones in any of their rooms so in order to get something I had to walk down to the front desk. I saw many ants crawling around our room (small red ones) and we couldn't leave food out or the ants would get into it. There was no desk, chair, or reading lamp in the room. The room service menu only serves breakfast foods right now. Since the hotel is so new, not many trike drivers know where the place is. Now for the good things about this hotel. While we did see ants, we also saw quite a few lizards that were eating ants...I wanted a lizard in our room. While the menu only serves breakfast, it is satisfactorily prepared and can always be ordered day or night. The hotel staff told us that the room service menu will be fleshed out soon. While there were no phones, I think they will be included soon as the staff has been busy installing things here and there. The location is great, it is two blocks from NDDU and Mindanao State. It is right on the main highway and within 6 minutes trike ride of the malls, clubs, and parks. The staff is very helpful and proficient at their duties. This hotel is not for those who are used to a higher quality stay, but if you are looking for a decent place that doesn't drain your pocketbook...this is a good idea.

I booked for three days but extended one more day...very nice place...clean, quiet, relaxing....large room with king size bed that was comfortable, with good AC ...comes with small refrig, kitchen area with table and chairs, sitting chairs, and a little front porch area with a sitting bench...the bathroom was small but had plenty of hot water and pressure....the restaurant had good food and served large portions...they even bring your breakfast to your room in the mornings...the staff was very professional and friendly at all times and attended to your needs...excellent wifi...I do recommend this hotel and I would stay there again if I visited General Santos...the only negative would be the location...if you are wanting shopping at the malls, then it is a good trike ride to get there and back....

I had booked the standard matrimonial room (2 adults + 1 kid) for me and my wife, and her 2 teenaged kids. It was technically not possible to book one room for 4 persons via the website, but the reception staff added one more person for the regular extra fee, without any fuss. Shortly after occupying the room, we were confronted with a blocked shower drain, but hotel maintenance staff showed up within 10 minutes to fix it. After that all went well. One enters the hotel from the highway (the main axis cutting through Gen. Santos City) through a drive-in alley. That probably explains why it's surprisingly quiet throughout the hotel. You can easily imagine being in a resort while taking a dip in the inner courtyard pool, although the bustle of the city with its eateries and shopping malls are within walking distance. All in all, this stay was well worth the money.

We spent 7 days in all at Roadhaus Hotel. This was the third hotel we stayed at in General Santos City as a sick family member was in Doctors Hospital for 2 weeks. This hotel was a clearly better than the other larger hotels. It is a Manny Pacquiao owned business which gives it additional character. The price was better value than others in the area but the real winner here was the incredible staff. I have travelled widely and this was a stand out hotel for service and friendliness. They made you feel at "home". All so happy and obliging. Particular individuals such as Jenny, Janessa, Melther Jay, Jenerie and Rosalie deserve mention but hard as all were great. The cook Donald has a dish listed as "Vegetables Chicken Chop Suey" but beware it is addictive. It is the simple things like calling ahead on the phone for a suitable time to make up the room, as against the traditional banging on the door. Well done to the management of this hotel.

The room was very neat and has a classy look. The air conditioner is excellent. I wish that the heater in the shower works. I wish that the internet connection wasn't that intermittent. The room wasn't totally sound proof. All the staff were very kind and helpful. I wish they have a cafeteria inside. The location was very nice and their current rate (dated Nov 2019) is very, very economical. I'd say that their service far exceeded the cost. I'd recommend this place and will check in again next time.

I stayed here for a night when I went to General Santos for a friend's wedding. I got the cheapest room because I just needed a place to sleep. The room was as expected from the pictures. It's small but clean. Even the bathroom has been well-kept. They also provided basic toiletries. The aircon is working perfectly. The TV is old, but what do you expect from an economy room? I woke up quite late the next morning. I thought they won't serve me the breakfast anymore because it was already about 10 am but they accommodated my request. The downside of my stay was perhaps the location of the room they assigned me in. My room was on the 2nd floor, the last one on the left side. I don't have issues staying at the end of the hallway but I do hope they didn't make a storage area out of that corner. What greeted me whenever I open my door were lots and lots of boxes. Also, the location of the hotel can be easily missed if you're not alert or if your cab driver isn't familiar of the place because the hotel front is not facing the highway. Instead, you'll have to walk a few meters down a dirt path to the main entrance of the hotel. Overall, it was a nice experience. I am glad that I found a place that was both affordable and comfortable.

recently stayed at this hotel while visiting my wifes family in Gen San, the hotel was very nice and very clean, good value for money and the reception staff where great and very helpful, just a pity we cannot say the same about the restaurant staff, they where very poorly trained and every meal time they made lots of mistakes constantly forgetting various items for our meals and we had to repeatedly request service, in fact 2 nights before our departure we where asked to leave the restaurant as they had a private party and basically there where no tables for the hotel guests, most evenings there where very drunk americans at the bar shouting and very drunk while we tried to enjoy our meal, also our last day they closed the pool to hotel guests as they had a private wedding taking over the whole hotel, very disappointing, don't think we will be booking this hotel again.

i have comforts since the hotel is just near the SM gensan you may ride a tricycle then a few minutes you're in the mall. the hotel faces a natural beach where you can do relaxation. then if you may ride a tricycle you can have your city tour for just spending a few money. the life at general santos city is simple but it has a unique history. people over there are cool.
