"My children attend Knox College. I have stayed at this Baymont many times over the past couple years but this pandemic is revealing some unhealthy cleaning practices! I immediately went to check beds for signs of bed bugs and noticed someones Sex towel behind the pillows at the head of the bed on one of the Queen mattresses which lets me know these sheets have not been changed. On the other Queen bed, there was a HUGE very noticeable urine stain on the sheets like someone pissed the bed. The cleaning lady simply came in this room and made the beds up NEVER LOOKING or CHANGING ANY LINEN IN THIS ROOM! I went down to front desk to notify the front staff, of course was given a new room, but no manager ever reached out to apologize, offer me a discount or anything! I found This the Most Insulting practice of all! They have officially LOST MY BUSINESS!!!! I have 4 more years to go as a Knox College Mom with a new Freshman just starting along with my 3rd year student. We will be going next door to the Hilton!! DO NOT STAY AT THE BAYMONT INN!!!!! "

"This motel is located just off of I- 74 near East Galesburg Illinois and across the street from a Loves Truck Stop. In order to get to the motel you have to travel through a McDonalds parking lot, through a tall chain length fence (that is missing only a gate) and you will arrive at this location. It is a "bare necessities motel" with friendly staff, clean rooms, a bare-bones continental breakfast and a room that could sleep 5 (if they were small people) on 2 queen size beds for slightly over 50.00 a night. The chairs in the room were usuable but need to be reuposltered as the imitation leather arms were pleeling off. Our TV did not work when we checke in but it was to late to say something because we were so tired and the sink drain in the bathroom was slow to drain. When we checked out the next morning we shared that information with the checkout clerk who noted the information . The reservation of this motel chain is overseas and includes 4 pages of reservtion information! "
