Blue Waters Hotel
North Beach,Durban - View on map
"The hotel is in a lovely location, and in a wonderful city, maybe it is because i have a certain bias towards Durban, but it is certainly my favourite city in South Africa. I have found the staff to be very friendly and always willing to help. Safe location next to all the restaurants and pubs (oh yes!). The room i had occupied is a very spacious, beautiful and above all quiet room. I enjoyed both my sleeping time and my waking time (wish they could provide a large bed instead of two quarter beds slumped together though), and i could sit and attend to my work in their study overlooking the beach. When i got bored i could sit around the balcony and have a bird's eye view of the lovely Durban, looking at the vast ocean stretching as far as the eye can see. What a wonderful world! For the price i paid, this is a grreat value for money, breakfast included, and this could not have been more fitting in this hard financial times we are facing. More of that please!"

Pavilion Hotel

"Hi, I had a fortune to visit Durban for a Business conference and I booked Hotel Pavilion through agoda. I was shocked to see the location, the clean hotel and comfortable rooms. I was now happy because what I paid was nothing against the services I got. I wish Hotel Pavilion best of luck for this future business. I would visit Durban very soon with my family and will surely prefer this hotel again "

Durban Manor Hotel and Conference Centre
Durban City Center,Durban - View on map
"WHAT STOOD OUT FOR ME:- How non-intrusive your staff is. They actually leave you alone to be at home yet they are always on hand to promptly assist. I LOVE THAT. Very few hotels get that right. PROS:- Cleanliness, tea/coffee, comfy bed and a good quiet environment for night's rest-just awesome. I was also impressed that everything in my room actually works ie appliances, showers etc-best value for money really. CONS:- I was allocated #35 for the 6 nights I was there I had at least 3 encounters with cockroaches in the room mainly I felt they came from outside when I opened my window. Last year I was given #26 hardly any insects then and that was also an amazing stay. I had a great time. If you could just look into that roaches issue for rooms like #35 that could be super great. Overall I love the Durban Manor Hotel. 2018 was my first time I heard about it and tried it and I was hooked. Now on all my travels I judge other hotels against the standard of the Durban Manor. Thats good"

"The staff was friendly and welcoming, everything was clean, covid rules were thoroughly followed, room service was beyond perfection. The only thing you need to consider in future is to install fridges in your rooms, but other than that, your hospitality was awesome! "

Royal Palm Hotel

"This hotel is value for money. What you get is more for what you pay. It is stylish and well positioned. It is right at Gateway Mall's face. I have been using and comparing it to other hotels that I use when I/we travel it still deserves my best rating. it becomes a challenge for me to book elsewhere when I am in Durban. It gives me that sense of security because I know what I get. They go all out for customers. (I have a personal experience of this) Luv, Luv Luv. "

City Lodge Hotel Durban

"We enjoyed our stay at the City Lodge even though the Trainee wrongfully charged my card while i had already made the payment. The next time we travel to Durban again it will be our 1st hotel to book. We only struggled with food as the light meals on the menu were not appetising. But for a 3 star hotel it is the best. We will come back again very soon n the WiFi is super fast uploading our memories to social networks was easy."

Royal Hotel Durban
Durban City Center,Durban - View on map
"The Royal hotel in Durban is conveniently located in the center of the city. From the hotel, you can walk to the harbor. You can take a stroll at the square featuring the city hall. You can also take the people's mover bus to the major attractions throughout Durban. There is a business center where you can gain access to the internet. There are a couple of fine dining restaurants within the hotel where you can enjoy food. The staff are friendly and arranged my breakfast to go next morning when I have to leave early to catch a flight. My stay was pleasant at Royal. "

Sibaya Lodge

"There was a confusion with the payment. When booking in I was informed that the payment had not been made, so paid using the credit card. Once I confirmed that the initial payment to you had been made, I returned to the reception desk. The system still did not show the intial payment made to you "EGODA". The supervisor came out highlighted that EGODA will be receiving the payment and the credit card transaction was reversed. The breakdown in the process is that the Sibaya Lodge system did not show the cred it made to EGODA. Other than the above problem the stay was most enjoyable. "
