"I don’t mind spending a fair bit of money for a luxury destination hotel, but sadly Hawks Cay came up well short in a number of areas. Good things; comfortable bed, very clean and nice pool. Poor things; 5 small beers, 2 Gin & Tonics and a small basket of wings at their Tiki bar was $80, even the checkout lady said she would check that, to date we’ve heard nothing so it must be correct! When the air con in the room came on it was like a car engine starting up, it woke us both up 3 times in the night after a transatlantic flight when we were utterly exhausted. Lots of staff, but no visible leadership of management. 15 mins to check in, valet car park people nowhere to be seen so parked up and dragged our cases to our room. A lovely looking resort, sadly lacking in a lot of areas for over $500 per night with tax and resort fees"
