Our three-day stay at Best Western Plus Peak Vista Inn & Suites started with a very warm welcome by Regina at the front desk on Thursday morning when we arrived. Regina made arrangements to store and safe-keep our luggages as we arrived before the check-in time. She even recommended a place for a quick breakfast before we headed out for our business meeting. We were told that the hotel had recently undergone some major renovations and upgrading. Everything in our room were relatively new. Our rooms were comfortable and clean. We particularly liked the bathroom with the new linens and toiletries; and the nice little closet to store our smaller luggages. The beds and bed linens were clean and new. We would also like to commend and thank NIcki Moser, the General Manager and her team for their care, efficiency and responsiveness to our queries and requests throughout our stay. Thank you for your hospitality and for making our short first time stay in Colorado Springs a wonderful experience!!

The Lodge is a 25 minute drive from the city center of Colorado Springs, so if that is where you'll be spending the bulk of your time, keep that in mind. The better restaurants in Colorado Springs are in that area. Having said that, the Lodge and its amenities (pool, workout facility, golf club) are all top drawer, well appointed, new and clean. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Rooms are quiet. We didn't eat at the Steakhouse, so I can' comment on that.

Garden of the Gods club is on the mesa next to Garden of the Gods park with a stunning view on the latter. Spacious and comfortable rooms with either a terrace or balcony, flat TV, cloth room, tub and shower, fridge and lots of pillows. Nice restaurant and bar with delicious food and good wines. Infinity pool and gym. Very attentive staff also, and everything is clean. Only drawback is that it has become a little bit pricy but this holds for most hotels in Colorado Springs though.

Dingy and gross. Room was super humid and the window was always dripping with water weather the heat was on or not. Tv worked only when it wanted to. Fire alarm was hanging by a thread in the hallway. The elevator door never fully closed so we could see the floors as they went by. Sink never fully turned off and dripped constantly. Could hear people urinating in other rooms through our walls. No safe in our room even though they touted about having them. Desk chair back was broken and I almost died from falling off it. The girl that checked us in and the one who checked is out were very sweet so this is not a staff issue. This hotel needs a serious overhaul. Would never stay here again even if ya paid me.

Friendly and helpful staff from front desk to restaurant, maintenance and housekeeping. Clean facilities- rooms, restaurant, business office & pool area. The excellent breakfast buffet every day with custom omelette starts the day right! The location is ideally close to I-25 but we really didn’t notice road noise at night from our mountain facing room. The owner gave us a free upgrade (we were in town for a funeral) what a great surprise! I would definitely stay here again!

Stayed here for a couple of nights to travel around Colorado Springs and it was conveniently located near restaurants and tourist attractions like Manitou Cliff Dwellings and Garden of the Gods. The breakfast was good/adequate. The room was clean, but had a cigarette odor (even though the rooms are supposed to be non-smoking) so not sure where it was from. The staff were friendly.

I would have gave a full 5 stars, but if you are sensitive to fragrances like I am, be prepared. I had to take benadryl as soon as I went into our room. I spoke to the front desk lady as to where they had the fragrance at in the room and she was clueless to what I was talking about. She handed me a can of air freshener that was even worse. We just took out the a/c filters and that helped.

The pro was great location to see Old Colorado Springs, Garden of Gods Market Cafe for breakfast and close to the GoG Park. The cons were the building was in bad repair and not well kept. There were multiple dog owners staying in the building and walking in the narrow carpeted halls. If you have pet allergies this is not the place to stay. The staff was not available at check-in and not very communicative and hospitable. I would not recommend this hotel establishment for a future visit.

Great hotel with many amenities. Breakfast at a Drury is always a treat. This one was somewhat limited compared to the last one I stayed at in Saint Louis, but still worth it. This Drury offers dinner and alcoholic drinks included in your price so that was a nice touch, but the time frame is limited on when it's available. Very nice room, no tub, just a shower which wasn't great. Quiet stay in a very nice area. Definitely would stay again!

Although the place does have some condition issues that need addressed, understand they are trying to do updates and fix issues: repairing hot tub, rusted shower stall, outdated lockers & no faucet handles in shower in gym locker room, dirty carpet, peeling paint on bathroom door; was still a nice place. That parking fee was an unexpected surprise that had to choke down. Staff worked with me to put me in room that had city view and not of the A/C unit, has restaurant options on location so didn't have to trek out in snow. Overall, enjoyed stay, enough to book a 2nd day.

A 4 night stay as part of a road trip with another couple. All impressed with the stylish decor, super large rooms, extremely comfortable beds, and excellent facilities. No parking on site, but nearby & convenient. Loved the location, just a short stroll from an excellent selection of bars and restaurants. (Special mention for “La Baguette”, a superb French style patisserie/ coffee shop, virtually next door to the hotel which we patronised for breakfast - excellent service, delicious food at reasonable prices. ) Disappointed with reception staff - not as efficient as one would expect at this grade and price. Housekeeping superb. Would stay again.

Well, as they advertised their pool was in the middle of being repaired. But, that is just what every room needs more of....repair. Shower had some flow of water coming from spigot as well as the shower head.....they moved me to another room. 2nd room developed a leak after a thunderstorm deluge; and there was a room above me. Toilet seat needed big time fix, which they did. Staff was very cordial and got it repaired as soon as the manager woke up from working night shift. The free breakfast was weak; only the waffle iron’s timer did not work, so had to keep time myself. But the waffles were the best thing there. Bread available to make toast. No muffins, no hard boiled eggs, and eating area was limited on space when there were 6 people sitting close to the food prep counter and tables and chairs were in close proximity to each other. Inside was in poor repair. Outside was in need of a de-weeding and clean up of rocks to be put back in place. Big dead tree out front.

FILTHY. Rooms smelled old, stale. Black mold under bathtub soap tray, bloody gauze in toilet, spatters of ??? all over bed skirt, linens smelled old, spit and throw up spots and cigarette butts on stairwells, a 'tenant' was smoking, clipping toenails and sitting on his bed with his door wide open and was coughing up a lung, dirty window (lip marks and smears), carpet filthy (my socks turned black after 30 mins), bed cover was stained and looked disgusting. Left a note for manager/owner, not even an acknowledgement at all. Just dismissed me and never followed up or offered to make it right. I'd like a FULL refund. This place is gross. Left dirtier than when I arrived. Bleh.

No pros. I will share 2 of the worst experiences but there were many more sources of irritation. The first was the smoke detector in my room kept beeping loudly and kept me up all night. The front desk galjust shrugged her shoulders and told me she wasn't an electrician. Thankfully it was my last night. The second was that the toilet was easily plugged up due to low water pressure. When I called the front desk, the same gal told me I had to come down to the front desk and get a plunger myself. She handed me a FILTHY plunger wrapped in a garbage bag. Too busy on Facebook by the looks of it. As a frequent business traveler, I do not expect the world from a budget hotel but I will NEVER stay there again. Too bad for them because I will be traveling to Colorado Springs every other week for the next 6 months.
