Find Hotels in Anyer, Indonesia

I'm really sorry to see the decline in Marbella over the 15 years since I first stayed there, when it was indeed a 5-star hotel (it was managed then by an international hotel chain). It is now under Indonesia management and very little investment has been made for many years. Actually, the same goes for almost all the hotels in Anyer and Carita. They are the nearest beaches to Jakarta (excluding the Thousand Islands), and so have a captive market. Almost all of them, including the Marbella, were built before the age of cheap air travel took off in Indonesia. Since then, the upper end of the market has disappeared as middle-class Indonesians now often prefer to holiday overseas. As a result, Marbella's clientele now tends to be dominated by the lower end of the market. Thus, foreign visitors may find themselves disturbed by constant staring, the ever prevalent chorus of "Hello Mister", and the all-pervasive whiff of kretek cigarettes. The beach is crowded with quite aggressive hawkers, and is lined with unsightly shacks selling snacks and rubbishy beach gear. It's also dirty and little or no attempt appears to be made to keep it clean. Nevertheless, it's empty during the week, when it can still provide a good getaway from Jakarta.

I am a regular visitor to Aston hotels, and hoped that this (considered) new hotel in Anyer will live up to my expectation for the name. They have good building (room is a bit small, 22sqm with balcony, but that was okay for the occasion). They have a very good secluded and private beach, so no strangers are allowed inside, this really pleased me as beaches in Anyer are so usually crowded. The service is good, the facilities good. We loved the pools, they were so well maintained regularly, my son loved the kid's pool. They have many foods around, not only in hotel.. I felt secured to stay here. Breakfast is good, might want to add more cold cuts or cheeses. So far so good experience, I will definitely come back and recommend this place to my family. Keep up with the good work. Kudos!

This is a beautiful resort and we had it mostly to ourselves. The beach is beautiful, and the snorkeling to see the coral was amazing, convenient and cheap. Getting there is a bit of an adventure, we rented a car and drove inland through many small towns which was nervewracking. But coming back we took the coastal highway through Anyer which was longer but then connected to main highway. For those seeking someplace off the beaten path, highly recommended! It's not luxurious but has local character and staff is attentive and food at main restaurant (open 24 hours and looking out on pool and beach) was delicious and affordable!

our journey to Anyer was below expectation because this is the first time we went to Anyer. The road condition was very bad because it is situated in industrial area. We visited the Florida Beach and were very surprised to know that we have to pay Rp75,000 per car to enter the beach. We were surprised more to know that we have to rent the pondok there because we already paid, the facilities should be given complimentary. Beach was not really beautiful and we got distracted with the local selling and begging us for their goods. And we decided to leave, went straight to the hotel even is was not the check in time. We enter the resort and we took our lunch at the café, and check in. Seaview villa a bit smelly, but overall it was ok. Large compound for my kids to play around because we stayed in an apartment, nice swimming pool... we felt more comfortable and safe in the resort area.

From my experience, this is the BEST villa in Anyer for its atmosphere and serenity. its really feels like i am alone in this villa (i came here when no other guess :) ) the pool is perfect for kids. The bedroom is good design. they said its been 20 years old building, but its still in perfect condition. Also they provide you with 24 hours refill for fresh water and coffee or tea, there is a hall in the middle of all room, you can sit there watching tv in the sofa, cooking etc. Also it feels like semi-buttler services from the staff. In the afternoon they give you "pisang goreng" for free, in the morning the cook you nasi goreng or mie goreng for breakfast. next to the property there is a public beach, the beach if fine. one thing you have to know that this area abit far from other famous hotel so if you looking for nearby food its a bit though. So you better order it from the villa (taste good, but expensive) or you bring raw material from Jakarta so you can cook it there.

After looking for a good hotel around Anyer, finally I got this hotel. No promotion avail at frontdesk, but I remember I've seen the hotel at agoda with better price almost (50% off). So I try to book from agoda n zap.. I got the room. Thx Agoda. About the hotel: it was good, but right now it really needs better maintenance, repair, and skillfull staffs. Good things: complete kitchen (micro, knife, riceckr, etc), nice view n hotel concept. Bad things: parking area across the street (though there is vallet), need cleaner housekeeping (find some dirt in the kettle after I boil sm water), need a lot of repairement at pool (good pool, but lot of facilities cannot work/broken), rocky beach-only a small sandy private beach avail, u need to go to the public beach around anyer to find a sandy beach. At this time, maybe this is one of the best hotel in Anyer, but next year maybe there is hotel nearby.

our trip started with a drama, our reservation not in the hotel system, which agoda solved in minutes (well done agoda). Friendly F.O. staff (Mr.Kusnadi), who tried the best as he could to make us comfortable (regarding our booking not in the system = well done acacia). Hotel is nice and clean (swimming pool and room), spacious twin deluxe room on second floor, also we've tried the ping pong table next to swimming pool and the pool table (billyard), beach available at the rear side of hotel, with brown sand (not white). Standard menu for breakfast (fried rice/noddle/egg), room service order was fast and yummy. this hotel/resort is a must try if you are in anyer.

Menginap disini pilihan sangat tepat.Kepantai cuma selangkah.Pantai bisa buat bermain,ada juga permainan air seperti snorkling, banana boat,jet ski dll..Ekonomis pula harganya.Penginapan ini bersih dan lengkap.mulaidr kamar mandi yang banyak,mushola,restoran,tempat bilas,resto,dan fasilitas karaoke yang asik.Penginapan dan pantainya pas buat semua golongan.anak kecil,anak muda pasti suka.Pagi2 spot fotonya juga keren..Tips: bawa makanan snack agak banyak,krn jarak kemana2 agak jauh.Pesannya:jaga kebersihan pantai ya.Jangan buang sampah sembarangan.Tengkyu Agoda...

Clean, large rooms can fit 4+ people, staff is friendly, only the bathroom is a bit small, the location is at the very close to the entrance to Tanjung Lesung complex, fried rice is quite tasty, opentrip to Liwungan Island at very affordable prices, may come back, recommended ... fyi, the seafood caught by local fishermen very fresh and delicious, awesome.... tanjung lesung, don't let you miss it

It's our first time staying at Patra Jasa Anyer Beach Resort. At first, we doubt that we will have a nice stay because of it's low price at high season (we got some discount price at that time). But in fact, we have a very good stay there! We arrived at about 4 p.m. So we still have time to play sand and water at the beach, and we found some fishes among the corals there! It's suprising! And we still could watch the sunset also.. The seaview room we chose were also quite good..

we stayed at Junior sweet room 2 , with 3 bed room and one bath. the building is kinda old need renovation but it was good for the value, the AC is working fine. there was a sale for one night pay get another night free. the staff is friendly and fast respond, the breakfast is fried rice for 6 people. the pool is clean and the beach is near our cottage, there is alot of local people selling all sort of stuff from sea food , water sport , temporary tattoo , massage , etc. so we did get pampered and over all we enjoy our stay at Anyer Cottage.

Disappointing. We tried for 2 days prior to arrival to upgrade to nicer villa. But as Agoda was unable to reach hotel, we were advised to request upon check in. After a lot of blablabla, they quoted us 110usd ++ additionally although the hotel list price is only 35usd more, so we stayed at initial booked villa. First nite dinner, restaurant has no bottle beer as ran out so Xmas only, no big deal but disappointing. 1st day breakfast, was told we can only order Indonesian or American breakfast as only 2 villas rented so no buffet available. When ordering for coffee, they informed us they ran out of coffee. As the resort is located past middle of nowhere, we asked to get a taxi to go to town/supermarket. We were informed there is no taxi and hotel transport only can drive us up to main gate. After a lot more blablabla, they managed to let us use the van guy who drove us up from Jakarta (at a few of course). 2nd day breakfast, coffee was there and somehow they also managed to get cornflakes, milk and some jams. We have been using the hotel pool for a few days, (same resort and reception, but somehow cannot charge to room and need to pay cash (no big deal but annoying if u have a drink/snack by pool). On the 3rd day we asked as previous day for a towel at pool and were told we CANNOT get towel as we stay at villa section and not hotel, although we received towel first 2 days, why?? Don't know. Ok, now recreation, we used jet ski which was ok, speedboat out of order so no banana or doughnut race available. Also snorkeling for kids not possible as only have adult mask. So we tried the ATV (4 wheel motor cycle), first one locked up after 5 minutes and would not start anymore so had to walk back for 15min. Second one the chain flew of after 2min so got our money back and forget about is. We booked 5 notes but changed to 4 and luckily hotel accepted and have a refund.

I highly recommend this place for quite a number of reasons, not least being the wonderful manager Ms Sindi and her husband who patiently made a lot of effort and went to lot a of trouble to organise my trip to Anak Krakatau, to show me around and were both very attentive hosts and wonderful company. The room I stayed in (like the rest of complex from what I could see) was very clean and well-maintained. It’s located on the main road behind the beach, but in a landscaped garden area making it very peaceful. The beach is across the main road and down a pathway not far from the entrance. The price I found very reasonable as a solo traveller, especially for the quality of service and accommodation, and would be excellent if shared between two people. I would absolutely return to Aramdalu if I come back to this coast.

When come theres noone there, lobby empty. Securities told us to check in to Acacia Hotel which was half n hour driving. They didnt hv our name in their booking list, thats why the villa still neglected n not ready. We have to call the Acacia hotel n complain why trouble us. In the end, they let us in and sent the cleaning service. Very bad first impression. The villa actually good, huge, and nice. Beside the first impression, we satisfied with the villa, very private, noone there except 2 securities guys. But no facilities at all, only pool.

the location is really good, near to highway and they have the direct access to beach which is super comfortable for family with younger children like me. but from the hotel facilities, it's really need to have improvement. perabotan yang tua dan tidak terawat, kebersihan kamar yang sangat kurang, banyak sarang laba2 di kamar kulkas kotor, kamar mandi, cukup OK kalau malam, banyak nyamuk dan semut besar2 di lantai. untuk lokasi hotel yang abgsu sepert nuansa bali, harusnya bisa meng-upgrade kenyamanan hotel, supaya customer berpikir untuk kembali lagi.
