Best hotels & accommodations in Aix-en-Provence

This is a good value option when you want to stay in the middle of Aix-en-Provence. The only downside are the stairs, particularly if you are elderly. Perhaps ask for a room on Level 1 rather than Level 2 if stairs are an issue for you. The staff were helpful and friendly. Public parking is only a block away at Parking La Rotonde.

Just back from Nice Le meridian via self drive , they can help you to park , very efficient service. The Natve English speaking receptionist is very kind and helpful when I check in. I can see she tried very hard . Two big groups coming , I front office lacks of manpower, the French receptionist is less helpful, while I think it is typical in France . As I found le ...

This is a great place for a short stay in Aix en Provence. It is a little way out of main centre so helps if you have a car and a good sense of direction! It is clean and the bed was good. there is great dining in the hotel and coffee and tea makinh facilities. It is very quiet and there is plenty of parking. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

This is a cosy hotel in a great location with modern facilities. The breakfast offering is simple, delicious and includes fresh local delicacies. It's located within walking distance to most of the city's major attractions. Although it's located in the center of the city's busiest neighborhood, there is no problem with noise.

This is my first time to visit Aix en Provence! I was really glad that I stay here! inside room were having small kitchen to prepare your food or microwave to use. staff were soooooo friendly (thanks to Marc and Beatrice!) if I have any other chances to visit Aix, I would definitely to stay here once again!

stayed for 9 nights and made his a base for exploring aix and other parts of provence. excellent location if you have/rent a car. just 5 minutes to town. great and spacious estate with lively garden, pool and a restaurant. we stayed in august and the restaurant meals were served outside. gourmet classic french cuisine with some provençal dishes. because we stayed long...

Les Floridianes is always on my list for a stay in Aix en Provence. It is comfortable and clean with great staff who are always ready to help. It is close to the city with just a short walk to the centre of town. The bowling centre across the road has food and drinks available if you enjoy pizza that is. I always enjoy my stay in this hotel and over the years it sti...

when in the hotel, you feel as if you are secluded in a isolated castle, however this hotel is only about a 20 min walk from the center of aix en provence. the staff was courteous. the room were very well decorated but small. the washrooms did not fit with the setting and felt more like a 1970s motel washroom. free wifi was available and much appreciated.

The hotel is 10min walk to La Rodonte in Cours Mirabeau, thus its location is good. The hotel is proper with reference to the price paid, for a small city full of tourists. The room is ok, not too big, with a small balcony facing the street, which actually we hadn't used. The bathroom is basic. Hotel has its own car park, with charge of about 10 euros. Even though...

Don't worry about that Murphy Bed photo of the Studio room. It is a high quality mattress (I am very fussy about my mattresses) and we slept very comfortably here. Studio has a complete kitchenette with full size fridge, appliances (no blender), dishes and pans, gas range. Room had one of those newfangled coffee makers and a big box of tea and coffee but not one b...

the hotel is very easy to locate after you alight at the main bus station. there is a bus from aix-en-provence train station that will bring you directly to the town (if you are not driving on your own). customer service is good, room is adequately spacious. it's nice walking towards the old town within short distance to view the place and experience the culture. there...

Smallest en-suite ever Couldn't close door when using washbasin. Reasonably clean, but very cramped. Ground and lower ground floors rather smelly and you can hear everything going on upstairs, downstairs and next door despite this being an ancient solid building. Great for Aix city centre and cool in extreme heat.

I stayed in Hotel Le Mozart for 3 nights. The hotel is located around 15 minutes walk from centre of Aix-en-Provence. The hotel room is quite small but very clean and comfortable with a balcony which have a nice countryside view. I brought the fruits from the martket and enjoyed the good taste fruit and sunshine on the balcony. Also, I was happy to have free Wifi in t...

We booked our stay very last minute and we arrived very late at night ... but even then we got a warm welcome and service with a smile. There was some confusion at first about the number of rooms we had reserved but it was sorted very quickly and with no hassles. Best of all this place welcomed pets, for a small fee. The rooms were clean, quiet, and the prices were ...

The hotel located in the city where you can reach there on foot from the Bus Terminal within 15-20 minutes. The room that we stayed is the apartment-type room, it has 1 bed-room, a toilet, living room, and the bath room inside. You can stay in the room up to 4 person with 2 person in the bed and another two in the sofa. The room also fully equipped with the small kit...

5* - lunch / dinner 4* - service and bathroom 3* - dark room, sloppy bed 2* - breakfast and cheap pool area 1* - upkeep. Beautiful grounds but dusty, dry and unkempt - maybe part of the rural chic style but at these prices it needs some landscaping love

We were in this hotel in June 2011, on our way to Montpellier. It is a small, affordable hotel, close to the highway and with a nice service. We stayed in two rooms and only for two nights... it can be a nice option for someone who wants to visit the surroundings, but you do need to have a car!

I had booked to stay two nights and had chosen a front room with balcony. Mistake. We were directly over a very busy inner ring road so it was very noisy if the french doors were open. We asked to switch to a rear room for the second night and the hotel staff were very helpful and obliging and transferred our luggage for us next day when the rear room came free. As wel...

Room are small and required 15 mins walk from old town. Seemed to be a family-run business. The first day our air conditioner did not work. I preferred if the staff told us that the air con could not be fixed within a day( it's Saturday) but they said it will be fixed soon. After we waited for an afternoon, the staff said by 8pm. When we returned hotel at night, there...

Nice quiet property away from the bustling crowds of summer. The pool was the best feature. The receptionists were lovely and helpful. The restaurant staff could be better but they gave us whatever we needed... Eventually. The room was clean and charming. I'd come back for the serene environment but I'd dine elsewhere.

Jerome, the owner, is a wonderful host, and made me feel welcome from beginning to end of my stay. The place is secluded, with a marvelous view, and a deliciously refreshing pool. Jerome drove me to town each day, and I took a taxi home each night (around 15 Euros). Continental breakfast was delicious. I recommend shopping for some food at the outdoor markets and bring...

Traveler impressions of Aix-en-Provence
Charming town with everything. Nice street markets for both food and apparels on weekends. Good restaurants and dining environment as the town has very little vehicular traffic.
I adored the morning markets. The food and shopping are the key reasons you'd want to visit the city in addition to exploring the old town.
