Great budget hotel”

Citihub describe themselves as a budget hotel. As such they exceed expectations by quite a bit. Impeccably clean, only some small details that sets them one notch lower than one quite more expensive hotel. The hotel is located within walking distance from The rooms and corridors show that Citihub have ambitions to offer more, there's art, and in some cases funny little additions such as that the wall behind the fire extinguishers have a painting of a diver where the hydrant is the compressed air tube. Breakfast were included in the room price and is for all but the lowest priced rooms, even so the dining area were open until after local lunch time so jetlagged visitors have a fair chance of using their coupons. Even though the area for eating is quite spartan, (also the area with couches and a sofa near the entrance - which gives the hotel one minus point for Facilities.) The food served in the hotel actually were excellent. Surprise there! Though the food were Indonesian, they served the peppers and spices separately so anyone not used to eat spicy food should not worry. A small minus that they each morning not have all selections presented in the menu. My recommendation, simplify the menu since they got so many selections already.) The staff get a big thumbs up, most spoke excellent english with the others had a good grasp of the language. All so extremely polite and friendly that I wish I could give more stars than 5 for the Staff. Terima kasih! :)

I started in a king deluxe room. I was very pleased with the cleanliness of the room and the hotel in general. The staff was very friendly. I wish there were more food options near the hotel within a short waking distance. I partly tried on Grab food delivery. The hotel has a cafe but it closes before 2pm. Overall, I enjoyed the hotel and would recommend it.

It's great for budget hotel, even though you need to bring your own towel and amenities. They also provide towel and amenities for you to rent with cheap price. Overall it is good if you just need a place to sleep.

Right in the middle”

It was the heaviest busy days in Surabaya and traffic flows unfriendly. However hotel locate right in the middle of Surabaya business, therefore I can reach all my destinations without losing precious time.

Hotel isn’t seems like others, because located in one building with shop-house. But inside, the hotel seems fine with great security system also the room was clean and quiet good. Overall, worth for business traveler!

This hotel is located near the mall. The hotel doesn't provide free parking, towel, breakfast, and amenities. I was so lucky that I bring my own towel even I can rent it. Sometimes the hot water didn't work in the bathroom.

Not so much satisfying”

I don't think I can recommend this hotel to anybody. The hotel has been proven to have too many issues. The internet connection was so poor. I couldn't access the wifi internet from my bedroom and I got to establish my own modem to connect. I wonder if this is a business traveler hotel, since they cannot provide the basic thing properly. The key card couldn't manage to open the front door in many times. I gotta ask the reception to open the door with their card. What's worse? When I took a bath, the hot water didn't work even though I let it run for 15 minutes. Actually there's a person commented about this issue in Agoda. But now I would totally agree on him, since I experienced myself. One more thing. When I came by driving a car, they didn't provide a free parking for their guests! I think this is really annoying. Surely I won't come back. The disappointment was overwhelming. There are many surrounding hotels that offer much better service than this hotel.

Value for money”

15-25 mins walk to Rundingan Plaza. No food stalls surrounding unless you are willing to walk for for about 10-15 mins. Else, the hotel is goo. It is supported with friendly staffs and with good cleanliness and quiet place.

I only spent a night here, but it's a night well spent. The room was clean and cozy; and the staffs were polite and friendly.

Room size are good, tv channels are local only, bedsheet is very White n Clean, but the pillow sheets are very dirty and smells bad.. :(( Anything else is good. Thanks
