Once more here and. Wonderful location Able the walk easily, as a walker, to museum of science and industry, frank lloyd wrights studio and around HydePark. A nice break from the crazy world

My check-in was quick and easy due to Gabby's cheerful and professional demeanor. I parked right n front of my room which was very clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. While the other furniture was dated, it was all functional. A restaurant is steps away and the property is located just off of Lake Shore Drive--about 6 minutes from Soldier Field

Great location out of town, with pool by the lake shore”
Nearby road is a little noisy, but does not detract from the well appointed rooms. Pool a boon for cooling off after a day's sightseeing. Great for a walk to Hyde Park and the University area. Free shuttle fab for going downtown with limited numbers. Otherwise Route 6 bus gives fast access in to town for 3 dollars. Nearby restaurant offers fab food and a good breakfast buffet for 8 dollars. Sunday brunch from 11 to 4 is a must. If you have children it is a great place to stay to visit the Windy City and enjoy some down time by the pool and lake shore at a good price.

Great hotel to visit the museums. Free shuttle to the museums and driver was very nice! We took Uber’s back to hotel from there. Reasonably priced for the location. Pool had not been cleaned and facilities could use updating.

used it for event at university of chicago. not fancy but less expensive than other options and within walking distance. they also provide shuttles twice a day to get into downtown saving hassles of driving and parking.

Clean, comfortable and close to where I needed to go. The attached restaurant was disappointing. Bad/slow service, inattentive wait staff, fair selection of bland sandwiches with stale chips.

Visiting son”
The location and price are excellent but if you don't mind having paper thin walls where you hear everything and I do mean everything then you won't mind staying here. I felt safe walking at night back to the hotel but did not get 2 good nights of sleep due to other guests. My son would prefer I now go to another hotel.

Staff are friendly and rooms were very clean. We were able to hear conversations in the next room. The location is good for this area of Chicago and for us with a family member in a nearby hospital. The night was noisy from nearby neighbors well past midnight and into the next morning. The pool is in poor shape and should not be listed as part of the hotel description.

If you plan to do some business or tourism for more than 2 days and you brought your car, this is a good choice, despite the ghostly reception shown in the picture (the real one is around the corner). It looks very old but rooms are clean. The shower worked perfectly as well as AC.

A bit too miserable stay”
I stayed here for a conference in McCormick Place. I chose this place because the price was very competitive, but I will most likely avoid this place in the future. I think the location was good: in front of the lake, near a Metra station. They have shuttle services to and from McCormick Place, although they were not available one day during my stay. Alternatively, it's about 10-minute train ride from the downtown and there is Whole Foods near the station. There is a restaurant next door, which was subpar. My biggest complaint is that the motel is built so cheap. A hallway with an exterior door and stairs is shared by 6 units. I was on the ground floor and was constantly disturbed by the noise from the door and the stairs. I was never able to sleep well. Also, there was no fridge and it was really inconvenient. All in all, I probably won't stay here next time.

The hotel is fine. I have known it since I swam in their pool 60 years ago as a kid. My problem has been with Agoda! I asked for a non-smoking room with two beds and you book me a smoking room with a king bed. They were full for the weekend and could not accommodate a non-smoking room I asked you three times to fix this booking before I arrived!! You also charge by credit card for the full amount of the room last month long before I arrived!!! I am not happy with a Connor service and would never use you again.
