Beautiful place”
I liked to stay in Chaweng Regent Beach Resort. Deluxe room was quite old, but Spa Villa was perfect! Nice design, open air jacuzzi, good system of air conditioning. It was impossible to swim in the sea ( not deep), but both swimming pools were clean and not crowded. We went to swim to the beach about 5 min walking from our hotel. There were many nice restaurants , pubs, clubs and bars near this hotel. Staff were very nice and polite with us. I would like to reccomend this hotel to people who are going to visit Koh Samui.

Great Place to stay”
We enjoyed our stay at Chaweng Regent. It was in a very good location on Chaweng Beach a little bit away from the noisy part of the beach that has all the jet skis, speed boats, etc. There is a lagoon in front that, although not so good for swimming, it does prevent the noisy jet skis from entering. If you want to swim in the main beach it is just a 2 minute walk down. There are lots of restaurants and masseurs on the beach and the main street behind the resort has markets, dining, etc. Although this noisy street is behind the resort, you would never know it as the place is very quiet. The gardens are beautiful with water features and lovely trees and flowers. We stayed in a bungalow and it was very comfortable. It had been updated but we also stayed in one of the older ones when we were there previously and it was just as nice! I didn't look into the superior rooms but they looked more spacious and modern. The spa villa looked great with an inbuilt jacuzzi bath in an outdoor bathroom but don't think the extra cost is warranted because you don't really spend much time in the room - the pool and beach is too beckoning! The Regent have very good security men who patrol outside in the beach area and there is a rope across the beach and peddlars know they can't come over and annoy you unless invited! All in all, we would go back there next time and Agoda gave us an exceptionally good deal!

Fantastic hotel in a perfect location”
We enjoyed every minute of our stay at this hotel. Upon our arrival we were told there had been an issue with the room we had booked. We were offered a voucher for the buffet dinner that night at the beachside restaurant, Chom Talay and we had 1 night in a superior room, which was nice and clean. The buffet dinner was incredible! Totally worth the booking issue. We ended up eating at Chom Talay a lot during our stay as the food was great, the prices were reasonable and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. For the duration of our time we stayed in a deluxe room which was perfect for us as a couple. plenty of room, a big comfortable bed and a great balcony overlooking the garden pool. We loved that the resort felt like a tropical oasis, despite its location right in Chaweng beach. The resort was so peaceful and quiet yet just out on the street were all the bars and restaurants. The staff were wonderful and always so helpful. They surprised my partner on his 30th birthday with a birthday cake at dinner - totally unexpected! They always went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable. We loved the Chaweng Regent Beach and will definitely be back!

just stayed at the chaweng regent in 2 spa villa rooms. we had booked 2 premier rooms but were pleasantly surprised when on reaching the hotel, we were informed that we had been upgraded. the rooms were large & very well maintained. the full sized bathroom had an excellent shower area & a jacuzzi that was open to the sky. breakfast at the chom talay restaurant was amongst the best i have ever had! huge spread with a great mix of continental & asian foods. although there are 2 pools - the garden pool & the beach pool, we only ended up using the latter. its beachfront location was superb & the water was always at a very comfortable temperature. the garden pool, with a sunken bar, was lovely as well. the beach in front of the hotel is great - clean white sand & clear water! the hotel grounds are lovely & beautifully maintained. dark wood boardwalks winding through lush greenery create a very calming effect. all house-keeping & room-service calls were attended to promptly & the staff were always smiling & cooperative. the airport pick-up & drop was also handled very well by the hotel. the shops, restaurants & massage parlours of chaweng are at the hotels doorstep, & in the 5 days we spent in samui, we were only able to try out a fraction of the restaurants in the vicinity. an excellent 7/11 is located diagonally opposite the hotel & is ideal for meeting one's daily provisional requirements.the only small niggle at the hotel was that the sliding bathroom doors of both our rooms were slightly misaligned & as a result it was difficult to lock them. despite mentioning this to reception a couple of times, it wasn't sorted. but it's quite understandable as the doors would probably have to be taken down & re-aligned & this would obviously be a time consuming affair. all in all though, a lovely experience!

Great! Happy with the hotel ”
my best friend and i came here not expecting much, as i mistakenly booked this hotel. we had a full's day travelling just to get to koh samui and we were very hungry, tired, hot and in need of a shower! when we finally arrived at the front the porter kindly took our luggage to the reception. shortly after we spoke to reception regarding our room we were brought a chilled face towel and iced tea! it was perfect and what we needed at our state. we recieved a free upgrade to the bungalow suite and one of the reception ladies took us to our room and showed us general directions around the resort. staff we're always extremely friendly, can understand and speak english, there are two pools both very nice, buffet breakfast was great with a variety of foods. location is great as well no complaints with noise, smell etc. this place is a tad pricey but koh samui in general is more expensive than phuket. our bungalow is small but cosy and clean, my friend and i like clean toilets and can say chaweng beach resort ticked the box. overall a great place if you want to relax inside your bungalow or outside on the beach or by the pool. we spent a lot of time in our bungalow and on the porch of our bungalow as we travelled during summer so it was extremely hot.

Very nice resort with service minded staff”
We stayed at Chaweng Regent for two weeks and since it was not our first stay at Chaweng Regent but our third stay, we were not at all surprised over their excellent service and staff. This year we stayed in their Spa Villa and it was really nice. The room was spacious with an outdoor terrace and an outdoor jacuzzi. The staff working at Chaweng Regent are very service minded and helpful. They were also very attentative and kind to our son (who is six years old), which was highly appreciated by us all. This is definately not our last visit to Chaweng Regent and will be returning there next time we are in Koh Samui.

Beautiful hotel, perfect location”
we arrived at chaweng regent and the spa villa lived up to all our expectations, spacious with all mod cons and very private. location of this resort is perfect and once outside the resort there is plentiful shopping and restaurants. the resort itself is peaceful and quite. all of the staff from reception, waiters through to cleaners are all very obliging and friendly. the resort itself has two beautiful pools, one with a swim up bar, a fitness centre, library etc. highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing holiday and we would definitely stay here on our next visit to koh samui.

Stunning Hotel ”
we travelled from phuket to koh samui as part of our honeymoon we actually checked into a different 4 star hotel which turned out to be an absolute dump so we went for a walk along the main road in chaweng looking for a nicer hotel and as soon as we walked through the chaweng regent we knew we had found it, the staff were wonderful, breakfast was good the rooms were very clean and modern but the location of this hotel was perfect. there are 2 pools to choose from and also there are sunbeds on the beach but are part of the hotel so you can swim in the ocean or the pool they are that close!

Friendly and helpfull staff, beautiful location”
We have stayed at Chaweng Regent Beach Resort a couple of times now and we have loved each stay. We have had excellent service from friendly staff at the hotel. The food is good, we mostly had our meals at Chomtalay Restaurant when we ate at the hotel. They have an extensive menue with international and Thai cuisine. Since this was the second time that I attended to the cooking course, the sous chef had made a new menue for me to cook. The cooking course was excellent and I would recommend this course to everybody who are interested in cooking. All staff at the hotel are very friendly and service-minded and we were not disappointed at all of the high quality of service that we received during our stay. We will definately be returning in the future again!

Great Locatoin on the Beach”
We stayed five nights at the Chaweng Regent Beach Resort and had a lovely time. The hotel is located in the heart of Chaweng, but maintains a quiet and relaxed atmosphere. The beach is wonderful and the staff do a great job keeping the beachfront clean. The rooms were nice, although the beds were quiet hard. There were renovations going on at the hotel during our stay and we asked to be moved to a quieter area of the resort. The staff were very accommodating and moved us. The breakfast buffet was nice. We enjoyed our stay.

Most Enjoyable Thai Experience”
I choose Koh Samui over Phuket as a big part of what I like is the friendly local Thai hospitality, including in a beach resort hotel. From reception, pool and security staff, gardeners, cleaners and restaurant staff, everyone was genuinely friendly and accommodating. We were disappointed in the quality of the food at the a beach - side restaurant, so only ate there the once out of six nights stay, but being in the main road, there was an abundant choice of places to eat within minutes walk. The breakfasts on the other hand were first rate. The whole ambience of a very treed area throughout, three pools with grassed/board walk all added to the atmosphere. We changed rooms after our second night - upgraded, but have to say both rooms were 100%, so location probably more important than room standard. We liked first floor with balcony overlooking pool, with a myriad of birds (Golden Orioles) flipping around to keep us amused. Overall - a great place to stay, superb location, very friendly staff, so a definate to revisit next trip to Koh Samui.

First Time Experience ~ Satisfied with the Premier Room.”
I would rate 3.8 out of 5 for my first time experience staying with Chaweng Regent Beach Resort. And here is my experience, ROOM - Booked 2 Premier Rooms for staying, room size is spacious (if with no extra bed). Premier Rooms with Balcony is just awesome for us to chill out with pool side view. Thumbs up for having Jacuzzi inside Premier Room. LOCATION - Chaweng Regent's location is convenient, with just right along the Chaweng Street that full of restaurant, pub, street shooping and etc. With just 5mins walking to their Central Festival Mall. DINING IN RESORT - Chaweng Regent's breakfast varieties is at standard of a 4 stars resort. But sadly to see their internal night BBQ buffet by the beach is not happening. Visited there to check out the food but pity to see they have no customer at all. Probably is because most of us still prefer to go out to Chaweng's Street that already have plenty of restaurant and BBQ and pubs to hang out.

Great place to stay”
We booked Chaweng Regent for just a couple of nights until we worked out where was the best place to stay on Samui. After driving right around the island, we decided to extend our stay at the Regent. The location is central, the staff are very attentive as all Thai people seem to be, the gardens are really beautiful and the accommodation is very comfortable and clean. This place has a real authentic Thai feel to it. We are well traveled and have stayed at some amazing places but felt very happy staying here. We are now in the north of Samui but will be returning to the Regent for a few more days before we reluctantly fly home. I can recommend this hotel and would come back next time!

Great Resort”
We loved the Chaweng Regent. Its a nice resort with one pool facing the ocean. The spa was the first place we got a massage, it was extremely relaxing and great. The price was a bit high when we walked the beach to compare, but at least we had a baseline massage to compare everything else to. If you like the night life and like to be in the mixed of everything, Chaweng Beach is the place to be. If you want a quiet time, with no one bugging you to buy their wares on the beach, I'd suggest staying at a more quiet part of the island. Oh yea, be very careful of people trying to drag you into a vacation club. This group called absolute is all over the island and if you dont want to be part of a vacation timeshare thing, just say no and dont take any of their flyers or scratch cards. Get the corn on the cob from the local person on the beach, its soooo good.

Most peaceful resort!”
We were two friends who stayed in Chaweng Regent for a short break in thailand. The hotel exceeded our expectations. Each bungalow has it's own little veranda with a lot of plants and nature around you. So peaceful and beautiful.Throughout the resort, you'll find gardens and ponds with koi fish. Extremely tranquil. Breakfast is right on the beach, could not ask for a better location. The resort is on the northern part of Chaweng Beach which is a little quieter and away from the budget travelers madness. Whenever we had a special request, the staff went out of their way to accommodate us as quick as possible. Could not find any fault with this resort.

The best hotel on the beach”
We really loved this hotel. Usually, we stay at another place nearby but have found it to be long and not such a great pool. The Chaweng Regent Beach resort had a fantastic pool overlooking the beach and sea and was just perfect. The resort was elegant with fantastic service and a great breakfast buffet. I probably wouldn't recommend it for dinner as there are so many other fantastic places to go to all around but would absolutely stay again.

Beachside Comfort”
Chaweng Regent Beach Resort is in a great location on beautiful Chaweng Beach. While it is close to the busy, nightlife and shopping areas of Chaweng, it is quiet around the hotel, but right on the water too. The food is good, staff are friendly and the gym is well run and maintained. The rooms are clean and comfortable and have all amenities you would expect. We would stay here again if we had the opportunity.
