Decent service, excellent location”

We arrived at the hotel around 7:00am after a tiring journey on Fansipan Express. We were greeted with hot cinnamon tea and a warm towel when we check-in at the counter. Unfortunately we were not able to get an early check-in as our room was not ready by that time. We went sight-seeing at Cat-cat Village and then walked to Lao Chai, it was a very tiring walk but we were amazed with the beautiful landscapes and friendly locals. We came back to the hotel around 4:00pm and our room was ready by then. Accommodation wise we were satisfied with the room. Big and clean room, nice view of Fansipan mountain just outside of the window. We sat at the balcony and enjoyed our coffee before we head to the shower. Nothing beats a cozy and comfortable room when you are dead tired from all the hiking. We stayed 4 nights at Chau Long Sapa II Hotel, and on the 5th day we had to wait for the late evening bus as our train from Lao Cai to Hanoi leaves at 9:00pm. It was raining the whole day and we spent the entire afternoon playing pool at the lounge. What a fantastic way to kill time as we have no where to go due to bad weather.

Chau Long II Hotel is one of the best in Sapa. It offers good, very clean and spacious room with a private balcony giving an un-obstructed view of the mountains. This hotel and its rooms are beautifully furnished. It has a warm water swimming pool, club house and a big restaurant providing a good breakfast buffet spread. The staffs are friendly, helpful, accommodating and efficient in service. The draw backs are no cooling air-conditioner in the room, no bathroom exhaust fan, and its neighbouring night-barking dogs disturb my sleep.

Nice hotel with good services”

Hotel is in centrer of Sapa and it is convenient for shopping.. near cable train station and Sapa square, we stayed at Chau Long for 01 night and 02 days and were upgraded into Deluxe room that is suitable for our family.. room is large with a small balcony with mountain view .. it's wonderful to sit here and see Sapa landscape .. cloud .. mountain and valley. Using Indoor swimming pool with hot water during winter time is good ideal... We would come back Chau Long for next time ..

Last minutes, more than expect !!!”

I booked accommodation in Chau Long sapa through Agoda.com at the last minutes, the price was great, the hotel was great location for the final week of our Sa pa holiday. Short walk through the hotel to center, restaurants, shopping, church and cable train. Staff were friendly, checking in and out was quick and simple. Our room was well appointed, clean, cozy with great views of the mountain through the balcony. Awesome

Amazing time with Chau Long hotel”

This is four times to Sapa. I was very happy with my stay at Chau Long ! We usually stay at another hotel in Sapa when we vacation in Sapa, but I saw the advesting in the Agoda for this one, and they had a fantastic special going on! We got the room for $20 included breakfast less per night than the other hotel, Room was very clean, nice décor. The staff very friendly, professional, and welcoming. I try to stayed here one more time as soon as possible.

We had wonderful stay at Chau Long Sapa hotel, Everything is clean, bed is very comfortable, balcony is large and has stunning view to Fansipan mountain. We had lunch at restaurant on seventh floor and really enjoyed the local food as salmon hot pot, steamed rice ... hotel location is also good, nearby center and easy to get to main street with many local bar, shopping and spa. We highly recommend this hotel

We stayed at Chau Long for 01 night, the hotel was a desinatiopm in itself, our room was wonderful, clean and comfortable, the view was spectacular, from balcony we could see valley and Fansipan mountain. we received a friendly welcome by the front desk staff and really enjoyed the local food that they served us on Sapa sky view restaurant located on rooftop of Chau long hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel

Good location, clean room”

It's the first time we try Chau Long Sapa II. It's worth of money, room price is equal to 3* hotel only. The hotel needs to improve its facility to be equal to 4* standard. However I think Chau Long Sapa II is still the best choice with that room rate. The hotel has great view, many restaurants around, is near market etc.

hotel is in quiet location of Sapa area but it just takes you 03 minutes to get to main street, very convenient for going shopping, staffs is very professional and helpful, room is nice with good view and private balcony that facing to Muong Hoa valley, room rate is reasonable, we had a great holiday in Sapa, Highly recommend Chau Long hotel.

Chau Long hotel is near Sapa centre so it's easy for shopping ... just 03 minutes to get main street, Sapa church, square. we stayed one night and really satisfied, staff' s helpful and friendly, room's spacious, well equipped .. very nice view from balcony.. food and drink at Sky view restauran is perfect. You should book room on high floor to see mountain view.

Amazing place for holiday ”

Chau Long hotel is well located in nice street “ Cau May”, room is very nice and clean with a large private balcony facing to valley, staffs are helpful, just some minutes walking to main street, church, Sapa square and shopping center, breakfast at sky view restaurant is perfect , we really like sitting on roof top bar and enjoy Hanoi beer, Would definitely stay again.

The best hotel in Sapa ”

Good location, near centre and very nice hotel with amazing view. the meals was so good with local food served at Sapa sky view restaurant on the seventh floor of Chau long hotel that is a new and romantic place to enjoy local and western food and drink .. the cocktail was tasty and strange. We really love the atsmosphere at Chau Long and will come back !!! thanks all staffs for supports us.

We booked 01 night at Chau Long hotel and our stay was very comfortable, they upgraded our room to deluxe moutian view with private balcony, can sit there to see mountain and Muong Hoa valley, room is new and well equiped ... the hotel locates near centre, it's easy to walk down for shopping and local restaurants. .. the bar on rooftop is so beautiful, well decor with luxury interior. Hotel staffs is friendly and hospitable. Highly recomended this hotel !!!

Good location and great view”

Hotel located near Sapa center, about three minutes for walking to Sun plaza and main street .. Our room is very nice with balcony, view to Muong hoa valley, room is spacious with comfortable beds, good decoration and new equipment, staff is very friendly and helpful, We had a good time at Chau Long hotel

Pleasant stay, buffet breakfast needs improvements”

I stayed at the same hotel 2 years back, and this time round I decided to stay at the same hotel again. Everything remains pleasant... clean and big rooms, spacious bathroom, nice view from our balconies. One thing I find deteriorated is the buffet breakfast. Lesser spread/varieties, and long queue at the egg counter (I remember there were 2 staff manning the egg counter 2 years back, now left with one). For a nice hotel its subpar buffet breakfast is not what I expected. Might be looking for other hotels if I step foot onto Sapa again.

Free early check in on arrival .. the room is spacious with balcony facing to valley and mountain .. breakfast is good with plenty of choices. The restaurant is so beautyful with well decoration .. We booked a table for lunch near the window to see Muong Hoa valley.. the local food is tasty at cheap price.. staff is friendly and helpful .. . We love the cocktails that were served at Sapa sky view .. Highly recomended this hotel.

Very nice four stars hotel”

I have been at Chau Long Sapa for 02 days and 01 night, Hotel is very nice with mountain view, the breakfast was good with plenty of choices, staffs is friendly and hospitable , Room is spaciou, clean and the bed is king size. Our stay was very comfortable, We enjoyed the atsmophere of restaurant on seventh floor. We will come back here on near future !!!

We booked Deluxe mountain view that is large with private balcony facing to Muong hoa valley and fansipan mountain, the room is big with modern facilities, the bathrom is spacious and comfortable, the meals was tasty and were served on Sapa sky view restaurant on topfloor that is well decor. The staffs was helpful and friendly.. We really love this hotel and will be back .

Feeling pampered while enjoying the view”

We stayed previously at a home stay that we enjoyed very much, however, travelling with children, you want to have a rejuvenating stay in between. Chau Long Sapa II did not disappoint. The rooms had great view to the valley, ovens in the rooms in case it felt too cold and a comfortable bed. Best was having access to a heated indoor swimming pool. After doing many days of walking/trekking, it was simply a joy to be in the pool again. Being an avid swimmer, the length was a bit small, only 10 meters, so 145 lapses later I had completed my normal workout. For simply relaxation, the pool is more than adequate. In fact, throughout our stay, we were the only ones taking advantage of it. If you want to take a break and relax, this is the hotel to do so.

The rooms were very clean and cozy, the beds were comfortable. The view from the rooms was great. Other services that we were very pleased with were the heated pool, the free wifi, great breakfast and quite rooms. You should definately stay at the Chau Long Hotel when in Sapa.
