Good location, good deal rate”

I love the hotel the way it is, small, tiny but very friendly. yOu still feel the luxury of a three star hotel. However, there were 2 nights I woke up at 4 because electricity went out so many times, so the air cond and desktop kept on turning on/off. That was annoyed. i think it was because of unexpected problem, so it is understandable. Also it is sometimes noisy if other guests talk or make noise in corridor. Room was nice and had beautiful wallpaper. We arrived at 8 am, before the check in time, staff friendly let us in and stay in a deluxe room while we wait for standard room. Very flexible I would say. This kocation is perfect if you want to explore Ho Chi Minh city with lowest transport costs. You can walk or take taxi to anywhere in minutes.

The room is nice and the facility is good,breakfast have a lot of choice and good location,near Ben Thanh market and opposite with street food market,friendly staff ! Will come back and stay at Charner hotel again! Highly recommend this hotel !!!

Charner hotel has a very good location near the Ben Thanh market and in front is Street food market too,u can easy to find what u need if u don't know about anything just ask the staff they are really friendly and passion to help u . Good breakfast . Very clean room

Close to everything.. foods, market, shops.. plenty of halal eatery for muslim travellers near and around the hotel. Frequent traveller to HCMC, by far one of the best hotel with excellant customer service. Nikki at frontdesk was an exceptional staff.. friendly, helpful and charming.. well done to Charner for having trained its staff very well...

I was travel with papa mama, Charner hotel is locate on great location with super helpful and friendly stuffs, the light up point must the breakfast they had offer every morning, you can test Vietnam simple from this meal. We were enjoy the time we stay.

Convenient hotel with average service”

we stayed for 4 nights. room was average, nothing special, just a place to sleep in at the end of the day, which is what we really intended to do that's why we booked this hotel. the bathroom was nice, we had hot water and a jacuzzi tub. the hotel is conveniently located just behind ben thanh market so we had no difficulty shopping or finding places to eat at. it is also just ride beside a travel agency where you can book most of your tours (mekong river cruise, cu-chi tunnel tour, cambodia, etc). the staff in general were friendly and nice. the breakfast that came with booking the room was ok, although we only had french bread, eggs and vietnamese coffee, there were other selections like pho which we didn't get a chance to try. we left early mornings and came back late except when we needed to freshen up or rest a bit. the hotel's great if you have that same purpose in mind.

Lovely hotel with good service”

tan hoa ngoc hotel, hcmc, vietnam is a lovely hotel providing good service and is very well situated. it is centrally located, accessible to all shopping and night market as it is situated in the heart of the famous ben than market. receptionist were polite and accommodating. travel agency is just right next to the hotel for your sightseeing arrangements and bookings. restaurants and markets for street food are also just outside the hotel. i highly recommend this hotel, and will definitely stay here again on my next trip/visit to hcmc, vietnam. the big plus in this hotel is that they provide computer with internet access inside the room which makes it very convenient for the guest. very good hotel and highly recommended.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay here. There's a lift which made it convenient for us since we had heavy luggages. We booked a superior room which was a bit small compared to the previous hotel we stayed at, but 2 people can fit comfortably. The room's design was very modern which I liked. There was a huge window which allowed natural light come in. There was also a cabinet with hangers. They also provide free bottled water and complete toiletries (toothbrush, comb, razor, cotton buds, soap, shampoo, bath and hand towels etc) everyday. It's a good thing that they replace towels and toiletries everyday when they clean the room. The buffet breakfast was also decent, I must say. Loved that they have choices for Asians and Western people. Location wise, it is just right across Ben thanh street food market and is just a stone's throw away from Ben Thanh Market. And it only took us about 30mins to get to the airport. As for the staff, they were very kind and accommodating. They allowed us to check in early for free. We also requested for additional pillows and an extra rug and they didn't charge us anything. They also have a weighing scale which you can bring to your room to weigh your luggages. They also offer baggage wrap for a minimal fee. We really had a great stay here and would definitely stay here again when we go back to Vietnam!

Strategic location”

We had a pleasant stay in the hotel. The wifi is very strong, super strategic location if you are looking to stay around Ben Thanh, and the hotel is right in front of the Ben Thanh Street Food Market, very near walking distance to Benh Thanh Market and me and my sister walked to most of the famous spots such as the churches and museums. We signed up day trips with one of the travel agency next to our hotels, and they were a lot of agency nearby too. The room has everything we need, it was a little bit small for a deluxe room but we are fine with it. We took Grab all the time and the hotel is very easy to find .

Value for money, friendly staff”

This hotel is value for your money and it's located right in front of Ben Tanh Street Food Market. Halal food restaurant also available in front of hotel. Walking distance to Ben Tanh Market. The front desk staff is very friendly and can speak english, forgot to ask her name, she even upgrade our room since we book room without window. No halal meal at hotel for the free breakfast, but no problem with that. Water pressure in bathroom is good.

Right across the Ben Thanh Street Market, great eats with awesome selection. Walking distance to Cho Ben Thanh (30s), Saigon Square(3m) and Takashimaya Mall(5m walk). Serves a nice selection for breakfast, Vietnamese dishes. Don't expect anything grand. It's a place to put your head down and the staff is extremely friendly. It's my 5th time to stay at this hotel and no fuss, not fancy, but very clean. Expect a VERY slow elevator. Will stay here again for the location and the price. 👌🏼

Great location. Very basic amenities”

Fantastic location. Right opposite the street food market and Ben than market. Facilities wise - not great. Toilet was a letdown. Rusty equipment and a flush that was semi-working. Towels were provided but look heavily stained. It's not called charner hotel but viola hotel.

Great location ”

Great hotel we loved staying here, good location directly opposite the Ben Thành food market, noise was not a problem. The room was a good size spacious and clean. the wifi was Shockingly bad, this was a pain for us as we are backpacking and are booking as we go. This meant we had to go out if we wanted to booked anything as the reception WiFi was also bad. Breakfast is also very very basic not a lot of options at all. Overall great hotel would recommend just be aware of the WiFi and breakfast.

I paid $12 USD for a nights stay as i had a problem with Vietjet Air, i booked a double room, upon arrival i got upgraded to the best room, on the highest floor with amazing city views, the lady who checked me in was really really nice, i wish i took her name, the rest of the staff i cannot say the same, but this lady was the best! All amenities provided, nice powerful shower and a low bed big bed and as i said before amazing views. Breakfast did not have many options. 5/5 excellent value for money, will stay again.

Good value for money”

It is a good hotel. Friendly receptionist she upgraded my room as standard wasnt ready, just because of that service I will stay again. Buffet breakfast is inclusive and has a good selection + fruit. Before this hotel I was staying at a very average arbnb which cost me 35$ a night with no tv this hotel 32$ Australian

Great location, great price”

great service with affordable price + very close to ben thanh market. at first was a bit disappointed. they said didn't get any order/notification from agoda regarding my booking. end up they gave me 2 rooms at 9th floor (highest floor) instead of 4th floor i was requesting. however, great room and also great service. will come again 2013 june. good job!

I loved this place. It is very well located - close to the Benh Thanh market, lots of restaurants in the area and taxis easy to find. The room was a good size, overlooking the city. Note some rooms have no view. Its worth it. There is a basic breakfast - served with kindness, porters and desk staff all friendly and helpful. Would not hesitate to recommend this place or stay there again.
